The Shadows Behind Us

Liam's POV

I don't know what's going on. She's like, talking to herself, but she pauses as if its a real conversation. She goes in front of all of us. I look over at the boys and they just shrug.
Louis comes over to me.
"She wasn't like this before. It was just that last day before we- put her in foster care that she acted like this. I don't know what's going on. And do you see the cuts? My baby sister is a cutter!" He whisper shouts to me so she won't hear.
"Anyways, thanks mate for rescuing her. You did good," he said, patting me on the back. I smile and nodded, staring at her.



Hannah's POV

When we get to the mansion, I hesitate. I've been battling the shadows since they started talking.

you better run before you get into deep shit, Gail said.

We gonna kill em,' said Jay. I may have cussed her out for that one. 0.0

Don't expect to wake up tomorrow, said them all. I roll my eyes.

"Jay, I'm not scared of you anymore. Gail, I'm not running away from my long lost brother whom I haven't seen in what, 8 years maybe? And everyone, kill me and you won't have a play mate anymore," I smiled when I said this.

"What? Who's jay, Gail, and everyone else?" I look up and see Zayn asked this. The other boys went inside.
"Zayn you better keep your little mouth closed bout this one. Don't expect that Louis is the only person who knows how to do pranks; how do you think I've survived all these years?" He gulped obviously scared of me. I mean, he should be though. I can do things.

We walk into the house and see the living room is full of furniture. I see the XBox and immediately hop on the couch.

"hey! Do you guys got Call Of Duty?" I yelled getting the controller.

"Yeah! Liam go show her," I hear Niall scream. I bet he's stuffing his face right now.

Liam comes and goes to a cabinet and opens it. He searches for the CD and plops it in, getting a controller. We start playing against each other. The boys come in with junk food.

"Now do you blame me about Blondie? he's practically asking for some sass. I mean, he stuffing his face as we speak," I say keeping my eyes locked on the screen. Liam kills me.

"NO FAIR! LIAM CHEATED! LIAM, MORE LIKE LAME!" I scream. I slam the controller on the coffee table and go into the kitchen.

I huff and puff while sitting on a chair. I hear some one's footsteps coming towards me, trying to be quiet.

i whip my head around and look at Zayn and Niall with a smug expression. They look at me amazed.

"How did you do that?"

"Well with the- I mean with friends like I have you learn a few things," I say with a wink. Nice save!
