By now I had removed myself from Harry's lap and was sitting next to Penelope.

''So what's the deal with you and Harry? You back together?''

''What no no no...no.''

Penelope eyed me suspicously.

''Oh c'mon Soph stop being so stubborn and admit it!''

''Admit what!'' I acted clueless.

''That you like him! He likes you so what's the problem?''

I began to whisper angrily.

''The problem is that I keep hearing 'once a cheat always a cheat' going round and round in my head.''

Bu--''

''And when I'm near him, it only gets louder. So if he wants me, he's going to have to prove to me that he's changed,because I don't wanna waste anymore time on someone who's just gonna break me all over again.''

Penelope was speechless...for once.

Before she could think of how to reply I got up and headed to the kitchen but before I got there, I heard Harry on the phone and listened in.

''Yes mum I know it's been a while.

Yes I know I hurt her.

Yeah well like she said...maybe I'm too late.''

Before I could hear anymore I decided to stop ease dropping and head back into the living room.

''So who wants to play a little spin the bottle?'' Louis asked. He was always the one who suggested the games.

Uh-Oh ... there was something in the pit of my stomach telling me to leave now.

But I didn't. I stayed.
