I'll Always Be There
Chapter 1
Carleigh’s P.O.V
“Jordan we are leaving for the KCAs. See you when we get back.” I said picking Haleigh up and taking hold of Harley’s hand and walked to my car. When we arrived at the KCAs I took out the twins and then met Sarah and Trevor.
“How are my two favorite little people?” Trevor asked picking Harley up.
“Good.” Harley replied as Haleigh who was in my arms gave Sarah a high five.
“Ready for the orange carpet?” Trevor asked me as we made our way to the carpet. I nodded my head as Trevor sat Harley down so he and Sarah could walk ahead of us. Harley held his hand out for mine and I took hold of it.
“It’s loud sissy.” Haleigh said covering her ears.
“I know bubba. I’m sorry.” I said kissing her cheek as we began to walk. Cameras were flashing and I put on a smile.
“Carleigh what’s it like taking care of both of your younger siblings with your busy schedule?” One of the interviewers asked me.
“It’s crazy sometimes but with the help of my best friends and my brother it’s not that bad.” I said as I felt Harley tug on my hand. I looked down at him.
“I have to go potty sissy.” He said. I waved to the interviewer and then once we got inside the building I handed Haleigh to Sarah and then picked Harley up and ran to the bathroom. When he was done I walked over to the others and we went and took our seats next to each other.
“So what song are you going to sing tonight?” Sarah asked me as Harley played with her hair.
“You’ll have to wait and see.” I said as this year’s hosts Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift came on stage. I thinks it’s awesome how they are best friends and are hosting it together.
“That’s so going to be us one day.” Sarah said elbowing me. I laughed as the first performers came on. It’s One Direction. I am not so secretly a Directioner but I do very secretly have a crush on Harry Styles. They sang “Happily” and everyone stood up and danced. I Haleigh stood on my chair and she and I danced while Sarah and Harley danced. Once they finished everyone sat down and they stayed on stage.
“We would like to present the award for Female Singer! Watch the video of your nomniees!” Louis said as the video played. When a clip from my music video came up Harley’s eyes got wide.
“That’s you sissy!” He shouted. Everyone around us laughed while I nodded my head.
“And the winner is……..Carleigh James!” Harry said into his mic. I stood up with Haleigh on my hip since she wouldn’t let go of me. Trevor and Sarah gave me hugs and then Harley kissed my cheek then I walked up with Haleigh on my hip. Harry handed Haleigh my blimp and I gave my speech.
“Wow this is really amazing. I would like to thank my big brother Jordan and my two best friends Trevor and Sarah for helping me achieve my dream. I would like to thank my manager Madison for believing in me. I would also like to thank my mom and dad even though they aren’t here anymore for always telling me to reach for the stars. I would also love to say a massive thank you to my fans! Without you guys I wouldn’t be here now so thanks a lot!” I said ending my speech and then we cut to commercial break so the boys and I walked off the stage.
“Congrats.” Niall said hugging me. I thanked him.
“You really deserved it love.” Harry said smiling at me. I promise my heart just fluttered in my chest. I thanked him. I looked down and Haleigh who had her head rested on my shoulder.
“Who is this little cutie?” Zayn asked.
“This is Haleigh. Don’t let her fool you she is not shy.” I said tickling her making her giggle which caused the boys to chuckle.
“We should get going back to our seats but we should hang out some time. Here is my number.” Liam said handing me a sheet of paper with his number on it. I smiled and then walked back to my seat. When it was time for me to get ready to preform I sat a sleeping Haleigh on Sarah’s lap and then I went to get ready. The anonymous voice introduced me and as soon as my music began. I was the last performance before the finally sliming of the night. When the show was over Sarah helped me carry the twins to my car and get them in.
“Congrats favorite movie actress.” I said bumping her hip as she walked to my side of the car.
“Thanks favorite female singer.” She said hugging me then walking over to Trevor. I waved at them then got in my car. Once we got home Haleigh had woken up so she walked while I carried Harley in. Jordan had already left to go back to Uni so it was only us 3 in the house.
I changed them both into their pajamas and tucked them into bed. I then took a quick shower and washed my hair then put it in a bun and put my pajamas on. I climbed into bed with my phone and laptop.
I logged into twitter to see that Harry had mentioned me in a tweet. I did a happy dance before looking at the tweet.
@Harry_Styles: incredible night! Thanks for the wins! Also was lovely to meet @MissCJ tonight!
I smiled and then took out my phone and decided to text Liam a simple hey. A couple seconds later I got a reply asking if it was ok if he gave Harry my number and of course I said yes. Tweeted a picture of me and the twins with my blimp thanking my fans again before I closed my laptop and set it on my bedside table. I then got a text from an unknown number.
Unknown: Hello love this is Harry
Carleigh: Hey Harry! What’s up?
Harry: Not much. Can’t really sleep still kind of jet lagged from our flight.
Carleigh: I’m sorry. I’ll stay up (well try to anyways) to keep you company
Harry: you don’t have to do that I’m sure you have a busy day with your siblings tomorrow
Carleigh: Yeah an epic day of pajamas,movies,and apple juice
Harry: Sounds like fun! I have to be up at 5:30 for GMA
Carleigh: then Mr.Styles I believe that you should get some rest. Night!
Harry: Good night Miss.James
I put my phone on its charger and fell asleep listening to the radio.
