Christmas Wishes
Chapter 6
*Maddy's POV*
After everyone left Amity's house, I stayed and helped her cleaned up. I don't like leaving someone with a mess at their house when I helped make it. We cleaned everything up and talked for a little, then Amity decided she was going to go call Liam. When she was gone I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to call Louis. I went into the other room and dialed his number. He answered in no time.
"Hey babe, how are you?"
"I'm good, any luck so far?"
"No, not that I know of. Don't worry though, I am going to try my hardest to be there with you."
"I trust you, but I want you to know that if there is absolutely no way of you getting here, as much as it kills me, I understand. It's not your fault."
"I'm going to try my hardest. Even if that means that I walk there." I just smiled.
"How did I ever get so lucky to get a guy as great as you?"
"I'm the lucky one. I'm just glad I ran into you at the bakery that one day." I thought back to the day I first met Louis.
FLASHBACK
I had just moved to London about a month ago to go to culinary school. I didn't know too many people or my way around. I had just started working at a small bakery outside of town. One day when I was off work, I had some hot chocolate and some cookies. I was walking out and turned around and someone ran into me spilling my hot chocolate all over me.
"I am so sorry, love. Are you okay?" He asked trying to help me pick up my stuff.
"Yeah, I'm fine, it's no big deal." I retorted. I was kind of a little annoyed, but most of it was because I just had a long day at work and now I am wet.
"Let me buy you another drink to make up for it." He kindly offered.
"No it's okay, really. You don't need to worry about it.
"Please, I insist. It's the least I could do, and it's just right there. Come on, it won't take that long." He insisted. I finally looked up at him and noticed who was talking to me. It was Louis. I was shocked.
"Please." That was all he said looking at me with a pleading face. I couldn't resist those eyes!
"Alright, I guess it won't hurt." I replied and his face lit up. I was only planning on getting my hot chocolate and thanking him and then going on my way, but that's not what happened. We got our drinks then he insisted that I sit down with him and we talk for a few minutes, so we did. I ended up staying for almost 2 hours. We got along really well, and we were really similar. Louis looked at his phone.
"Crap, I have to go to a meeting. It was really nice meeting you though Maddy, and I am really sorry again for running into you."
"It's fine, another hot chocolate helped." I said smiling at him. He stood up and shook my hand, then he left. I just stayed there for a little while. Then, after a few minutes, one of my coworkers came over to me, her name was Dez.
"Hey Maddy, I was told to give this to you." She said handing me another drink. I looked at her confused and took it, she walked away. I noticed there was some writing on the cup. I looked at it and it read:
Maddy, I am sorry again, but I had a really great time getting to know you. Thanks for listening to all my stories. Maybe we could do it again sometime? Call me.

His number was below that. I had the biggest grin on my face. I called him that night and ever since then we haven't stopped talking.
END FLASHBACK
"I'm glad you did too." I said with a huge smile on my face.
"Hey, I have to go, we are going to try and see if we can find any way home. I will call you later, yeah?"
"I'll be waiting." And with that we hung up the phone. I really need Louis here for Christmas. I have no family here, they are all back in the states. I moved here by myself. I mean, I have the girls, but it's just not the same. Louis helps me feel like I'm at home. Come on Maddy, don't cry, you have to be strong for everyone else. I quickly wiped the tears that fell from my eyes.
"Maddy?" I heard Amity call
"I'm in here." I shouted back, soon she was in the doorway.
"Hey you want to go to lunch with me and Kennedy?" She asked "We have some things we need to discuss. Certain things concerning a matter of love between a girl and a cute Irish boy." She said with a smirk on her face.
"Oh why yes, yes we do." I said. We left and picked up Kennedy and went to lunch.
*Louis POV*
I hung up the phone with Maddy. I wish I didn't have to do that. I wish I could just hear her voice all day long, I could never get sick of it. I don't care if we haven't been dating for even a year yet, but damn it, I really love this girl. She is my world! If I didn't have her I would have no one.
After I broke up with Eleanor I was going through a tough time. She wasn't the one for me, but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt breaking up with her. I decided one day to go to a small bakery I heard of outside of town, and that's when I literally ran into Maddy. We ended up talking for a few hours. I told her all about my breakup and what I was going through. I couldn't help it! It just all came spilling out to this person I had just met, but I felt like I could trust her. From then on I knew she was something special. So before I left, I got her another hot chocolate and wrote on the cup, I gave her my number and ever since then we have been inseparable. She means everything to me. Who cares if we have only been going out for a short period of time. I am going to marry this girl! Maybe not now, maybe not for a while, but I know that one day we are going to get married.
"Hey mate you okay?" Niall asked me
"Yeah I'm fine, just thinking. So you have some more explaining to do."
"I do?" He asked me confused.
"Yes! So we all know that you don't really talk to Jess, but you like her. Why don't you talk to her more!?" It made no sense to me.
"I don't know. She just makes me nervous. Whenever I get up the courage to talk to her, my mind goes blank and all I can think of to talk about is stupid things. So we only ever make small talk." He explained to me
"Alright, well we have some work to do. I am going to help you be able to talk to her! I'll get Harry to help. Now let's move!" I said. I need something to keep my mind off of how much I miss Maddy, and I'm hoping this will do the trick.
