Christmas Wishes
Chapter 14
*Louis POV*
We were all sitting around wishing there was a way we could get home in time for Christmas. We all went out and drank last night to just forget about not having the girls and being away from home. I didn't get drunk, but Harry sure did, he wouldn't stop drinking. I have no idea what he did because he left after we did. Liam came running in a few seconds later and snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Good news mates. We are going to be home for Christmas!" He announced and I'm pretty sure my heart literally leaped with joy.
"I HAVE TO CALL MADDY!" I screamed and went to go run out of the room when Zayn said something.
"WAIT. Why don't we surprise them?!" I thought about it and it was perfect! It will be like another Christmas present and a Christmas miracle. I can't believe this is going to happen!
"YES!" We all shouted together and Zayn just smiled.
"I'm going to tell Haz." He said and quickly left.
"Hey lads, do you think you can help me out with something?" Liam asked us. He stopped and Niall and I looked at him and urged him to continue. "I uh, I really want to propose to Amity. Tonight. And I want it to be super romantic and something that she would make me watch a movie about. I just want it to be perfect." he explained and I couldn't be more happy for him! Liam wants to propose!
"OF COURSE WE'LL HELP YOU!" I practically shouted. Just then Zayn came back into the
room and he looked pissed.
"MALIK, LIAM IS PROPOSING TO AMITY!" Niall shouted to him and Zayn's expression quickly changed to excitement quicker than I thought was possible. I wonder what is going on.
"That's great news mate!" Zayn said and almost nocked Liam to the ground with a hug.
"I'm going to need all of your help though." Liam muttered so quietly I almost couldn't make out what he said.
"Of course Liam, anything you need!" Zayn said and pulled away from their hug.
"Well… are you guys up for learning a new song?" He asked rubbing the back of his head. I grin quickly crept it's way onto my face and I just nodded, so did the other boys.
*Maddy's POV*
I woke up the next morning, alone, on Christmas Eve. This is my first Christmas Eve where I will be alone. Well, not completely alone, I will have the girls and all the boy's families, but Louis won't be here. I just sat in bed thinking until my phone buzzed and it snapped me back. I rolled over and noticed it was Louis.
"Any luck?" I answered the phone and I wanted to know if there was any way they were going to get home before Christmas.
"I wish. I am so sorry Maddy, I didn't want to let you down and I feel like I have."
"You haven't let me down! Don't think that. I mean, I am a little disappointed that I won't have you here with me, but you didn't let me down. It's not your fault. We will just celebrate Christmas when you get here."
"Well we better do something because I have the perfect gift for you!"
"And I have a pretty great one for you as well." I said thinking about all the gifts I bought for him.
"I can't wait to see. I miss you."
"I miss you too, but let's not focus on how much we miss each other. Let's just focus on the fact that it is Christmas Eve and no one should be sad on Christmas. Plus you have the boys and I have the girls and your family. We aren't completely alone." I said trying to look at all the positives instead of the negatives.
"You're right. Let's see the bright side. Hey, why don't you stay at my place tonight? Maybe it would feel kind of like I was there with you? You know the code so you can get in. " He offered and that sounded absolutely perfect.
"That sounds perfect. Thank you."
"Anything for you. I have to go now, but I love you, please don't forget that."
"I love you too. And YOU don't forget that." I said smiling.
"Alright I will talk to you later. Have fun."
"Bye." And then I was met with a dial tone. I sighed and got up to get ready for the day. I quickly got dressed into my Christmas outfit. I have to embrace the Christmas spirit. Once I was ready I headed over to Louis with my stuff and made some cookies for tomorrow and, of course, some for Santa ;). Once I was finished it was time for me to head over to Chi's house. I quickly grabbed my keys and headed over. Once I got there almost everyone was already there. I came inside and Lottie, Fizzy, Phoebe, and Daisy almost nocked me to the ground when they all came at he and hugged me at the same time. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Hey guys! It's good to see you too!" I said hugging them back.
"Girls! Give Maddy some room to breath!" Johannah said laughing on how excited they are.
"It's so good to see you Maddy! Always is." She said pulling me into a hug.
"You too! I need to start coming around more often, I've just been super busy lately!" I told her feeling sorry that I haven't been able to come around near as much as I would like to.
"Don't apologize sweetheart. We understand, I'm just glad you come around at all." I smiled at her then I went and headed over to put down the presents I got for everyone. Once that was over I headed to the kitchen to help Chi set out all the food. We quickly finished and everyone headed in and got their food. Chi did an amazing job, it taste really good! After we were done with dinner we all headed back into the other room and exchanged gifts. I was so nervous that the girls wouldn't like what I got them, but they seemed to really enjoy it. The smiles they had on their faces made me happy.
We all laughed and just enjoyed each others company until around 11:30 and everyone decided that it was time to go home. Even if Louis isn't here with me, it is still a great Christmas. I said goodbye to everyone and headed over to Louis. Once I got there I decided that I wanted to write Santa a letter. I may be 19, but sometimes it is still fun to write letters to Santa. Also, every year my family would write a letter to Santa, we have done that ever since I was 2, so I wanted to still do that even if I wasn't home. I found some paper and crayons. You can't write a letter to Santa and not bring out your inner child. I sat down and began to write:
Dear Santa,
I know you aren't real, but I am writing this to you anyway. For Christmas I would like everyone to be happy and have an amazing Christmas, for the boys to have fun and a good Christmas even if they can't be home. Also, if you could possibly bring Louis and the boys home, I would be forever grateful. You see, I love Louis, and nothing would make me happier to see his face when I wake up on Christmas morning. Well have a merry Christmas Santa, get back to the north pole safely and enjoy the cookies!

I quickly and terribly sketched some snowflakes, santa hats, reindeer, and toys all over. Then, I set out a plate of cookies and poured a glass of milk. I then headed into the bedroom and turned on some Christmas movies. I just laid there enjoying the movies until I thought I heard something downstairs.
