Waitress love story
Chapter 3
~Ashlee's POV~
Looking out the passenger window, I'm thinking of how I did on my Final Exam in my " Home Development Class", since I study all night until 3 in the morning, I'm hoping I got a good grade. When we pull up in the back of the cafe, I look over at Jc " Hey thanks for the ride, your a life savor." He smiled showing his perfect white straight teeth, I open the door and start to get out " Ashlee how about you come with me to my family's house, Jaylen is missing you." I looked at him " Jc we broke up because you cheated on me, I don't even know I am friends with you still, coming over would be a mistake." He looked down and nodded, I shut the door and headed for the cafe's back door entrance.
Opening the door the smell of Pancakes, waffles, coffee busted out and into my face, I loved the smell of it, I went to the locker room and put my bag in the locker, I looked over Kale's locker and saw her bag inside it, yes I thought she is here. I walked into kitchen and out the door that lead to behind the counter, the people who sit on the stools at the counter were all regulars, everybody in the Cafe were usually all regulars. There might be the occasion were someone new comes in from out of town but they never come back for some strange reason. I put on my apron that just goes around my waist that was black and had a large pocket that carried a few straws, my note pad and pen. I grabbed the coffee filler and headed over to a old white man who had big glasses and barley any white hair, he was reading the newspaper. I grabbed his coffee cup and refilled it up " Hi Mr. Frank how are you today." I said cheerfully he put down his newspaper and smiled " I am doing good young lady, I just went out with the boys last night to go play bingo, I got a lovely lady phone number," I laughed putting down the cup of coffee, " You need to stay a way from the ladies Mr. Frank." he laughed " What can I say I'm 65 years young." I smiled and walked out from the counter and over to a family that I well known for awhile, I grabbed one kids menu and two adult menus, I went over to the booth wear One Direction sat at, I waved over the family, the mom walked to the booth and scooted in first, the dad came holding 6 year old Lilly's hand, she has a hard time walking because of all the treatment she is going through in the hospital, I know the doctors are doing everything to help her with getting her cancer away. The dad scooted in on the other side of booth first and then I helped him help Lilly sit down. One she sat down I handed her a crayons and a picture to color with the menu then I gave her mom and dad, Chelsea and Dave the other menus. I waited for the parents to decide on what to eat, I knelt down on my knees and grabbed Lilly's hands " So how is my Lilly today?" She laughed " I'm good, I am going to go watch One Direction Movie, mommy said so." I smiled " That's so cool, can I see your shirt?" she showed it to me " Is that One Direction?" She nodded. " You know you are sitting in the booth One Direction sat in last night?" She was in shock " Yeah, your the first people to sit in it today, is that cool or what?" She jumped up and down while sitting. I looked at her and smiled, she was wearing a white shirt with the One Direction boy's on it and knee high shorts with sketchers sneakers that light up, she had big blue eyes and she had no hair left. I got up and took the order and headed to the kitchen.
Heading to the kitchen to get the order in and get Lilly's apple juice Kalel stop me smiling " what I smiled back?" She grabbed my arm and led me to the back and stopped at the back door entrance " Go outside." " I can't I have to get Lilly's family food" " I will okay just go" she open the door and pushed me out it, that's when i saw the guy who was wearing the same clothes from the last night, Harry Styles. He was standing there with his hands behind his pants, I walked up to him " How can I help you Mr. Styles?" he laughed and looked at the ground and then back up to me, " Mr, Styles? Am I really that old?" I laughed " No, I just say that to everybody, what can I do for you?" He went into his pocket and handed my a 20 dollar bill, I looked at him confused " Ashlee what are you doing out here!" Jim yelled from the door, I turned around " Talking, I'll be back in a few minutes." " Come here now." I smiled and didn't come " You are fired!" I laughed " No I'm not." Jim went back inside, I turned and looked at Harry, now he was confused " It's nothing, and here." I gave it back to him. " What are you doing, this is for the tea last for Niall." I laughed " First the tea would cost 1.75 and second it's on the house Harry." I turned and started to walk for the door again, I heard him run and catch my arm " Then what can I do, love you saved our asses last night from Simon Cowell." I smiled and looked at him" There is one thing you can do for me, get you body guard."
Walking to through the kitchen with Harry Styles behind me and his body guard Paul next to him, everyone was starring and once Harry walked though the door that led behind the counter, and girls saw him they screamed, we walked out from the counter and girls were trying to get at Harry, but of course Paul was there blocking. We walked up to Lilly's table, she wasn't paying attention at first, but her parents were, I smiled and touched Lilly's shoulder, " Hey Lilly I would like you to me someone." She looked up and saw me the Harry and she smiled so big, a smile that I've never seen before. " Hi love." " Hi Harry." Harry sat down next to Lilly's mom and I put Lilly on his lap, she put her hand over her moth and then gave a Harry a big hug. " How are you beautiful." Harry asked many question to cheer her up and I just stood there looking at Harry, how kind he is, his smile, the way he laughs, it felt like there was no noise around me and my focus was on Harry. When all the noise came back to me, I saw the whole Cafe around us, people taking picture, everybody stopped working and was watching. Harry was done talking and I grabbed Lilly and lifted her up and carried like I would hold a toddler in my arms, and she started laughing, I put her back on Harry's lap and they took a picture together. Harry also signed the table on the booth saying that he was in love with a little girl name Lilly. Harry got up and it was time for him leave so we went to the back, when we walked outside I hugged him " Thank you so much Harry." I started to walk back " Hey love wait, the boy's and I are hanging out at our hotel tonight you should come it would be fun and Niall can apologize to you in person." I smiled " Sure I will be there.
