Afraid of Falling in Love
You Got it Wrong
Niall's POV
Niall laid across his bed, with his phone resting on his stomach and his hands behind his head. He stared at the ceiling, images of Gabrielle's beauty flashing in his mind. She was sweet and tough at the same time. She loved to be loved but had alot of love to give out, as well. Gabrielle was a free spirit, an untamed stallion running wild. She feared falling in love, because she thought she would get hurt. That was precisely what he did. He hurt her, and she wouldn't even speak to him. What she didn't know was how much he needed her. Everything was just more beautiful when she was around. She was his muse when writing songs. Niall couldn't live life with all the what ifs in his mind. He decided he was going to find her and prove that she needed him too. But he had no idea how to find her, he then figured Karmina was his best bet and left to the elevator.
A few minutes later, Niall walked into Louis and Harry's flat. The door was never locked, so he strolled down to the dimly lit living room. The only light emitted from the the t.v. Louis and Eleanor laid in the sofa asleep. He then pushed Harry's door opened and discover no one was in there. He noticed light from underneath Karry's room door and he slowly creaked it open. From the small open space, he could see Gabrielle rocking back and forth reading a book. He watched as her eyes moved back and forth across the page. Her soft pink lips mouthing the words. A low cry could be heard slowly, she slowly got up and fed Karry a bottle.
"I knew you would be a good mother," Niall walked in and shut the door behind him. Gabrielle glared at him.
"What are you doing here, Niall?" Gabrielle asked him, while looking down at Karry.
"I'm here because I made a huge mistake not breaking it of with Belen earlier but I really don't like her at all," he stood in front of her awkwardly.
"Still, you betrayed me. You should have told me. I would have understood. You just made me look like an idiot," Gabrielle spoke quickly, as she returned Karry to her crib.
"Gabrielle, your different though. You don't care what other people think," Niall look at her, as she crossed her arms before her chest.
"What if I do?" She looked around the room but not directly at him.
"You only care what the people close to you think," Niall countered. "Gabrielle, you are the only girl I've been with in three years. I know how to brush girls off, I just didn't want to hurt Belen but I especially didn't want to hurt you. I love you," this time her eyes shot to his. They stood there silently for a few seconds. Niall watched as Gabrielle really understood what he was saying. Before she could say anything they heard arguing outside the door. Gabrielle rushed into the living room with Niall following her.
Harry was face reddened with anger, he paced around the room. Karmina stood a few from him, fearfully. Louis and Eleanor were awake now staring at them. Harry looked up at Niall, then his eyes widened. Niall was very confused on what was going on.
"What's wrong mate?" Niall stared at him.
"How you do this to me?" Harry said minimizing the distance between them.
"Do what?" Niall took a step back as Harry was only inches away from his face.
"Don't you dare deny it!" Harry yelled.
"Harry, I don't know what your talking about," Niall tensed up, has Harry's fist hit him square in the jaw. Niall's body shifted to the right but he swooped around low and tackled Harry to the floor. Harry was a good few inches taller than him, but Niall was Irish, and big Irish hands. Niall was on top of Harry, but Harry swung at him against so Niall threw a fist an hit Harry right on the mouth. Harry spun around and managed to get Niall on his back. He jabbed his right in the nose. At this point, Niall could feel nothing but the adrenalin coursing through his veins. Louis pulled Harry off of him, and Gabrielle ran in front of Niall so Harry wouldn't try and hit him again.
"Why don't you just admit you slept with Karmina?!" Harry shouted from behind Louis. His lip was now leaking blood.
"Harry I never touched her!" Niall shouted back, holding a dish rag up to his bleeding nose.
"How could you lie to my face? She told me!" Harry threw his hand up in frustration. Niall turned to Karmina for an explanation.
"Yeah, it was over the summer. Remember?" She said to Niall, but he could see she was terrified.
"Karmina, that never happened. Is that something that came to your head while you were trying to remember?" Niall asked her, everyone else was quiet now.
"Um, no." Karmina said in a low voice. Her face redder than before.
"Then why would you think that?" Niall continued to stare at her.
"Taylor told me that it happened," Karmina looked around the room.
"Fuck!" Harry shouted. Niall shook his head in disbelief.
"I'm going to kill her," Gabrielle walked over to Karmina's side. "She isn't your friend. You can't trust her."
"So none if that she told me was true?" Karmina sat at the couch now.
"No, she fucking mad!" Harry shouted an walked over to Niall. "I'm so sorry mate. I don't know what came over me." Niall gave him a hug.
"It's cool, man," together they laughed it off. Harry then left his side when Karmina began crying. "It's not your fault, Karmina. You couldn't have known," Niall joined there little circle around her.
"What are you guys going to do?" Louis pipped in.
"Taylor," Karmina stood, and wiped the years from her face. "Is mine."
