Summary / Short Descriptions ❤
Summaries are important, and short descriptions too. They draw a reader in, as well as a cover. Anyways, many people usually include this in the short description (short desc is below the cover when it's in the 'Stories' page.

That is so plain and boring. I want to know some more and the summary says the same thing also. Interesting to you guys? Unlikely to me.
Anyways, a great summary or short desc would have a quote directly in the book or a thrilling exciting one.
Expections:
"I've always wanted you to know that this is something we can't have."
"My career is becoming a priority to me. I don't know if this will work out."
ETC ETC ETC
Same thing for the characters, DO NOT GIVE AWAY ALL OF THE CHARACTER INFO IN THE SUMMARY. THAT IS STRAIGHT OUT ANNOYING.
Oh and, when you have a cover.. make sure that the quote in it (if there is one) isn't the same as the short desc quote. Don't need it repeated twice.
