This is related to spelling. I know that everyone cannot be perfect.. but they can be good enough. Here is a good ol' list of things you need to watch out for

• Definitely vs. Defiantly
  You have no idea how many people get confused by this. These words are very close in letters and the way you say it, but trust me, they mean totally different things. Definitely means very sure of, positive. Defiantly means something challenging. See how different these two words are? Yeah, I hope you do.
• Then vs. Than
  I see it all the time. Sentences are supposed to have 'then' in the sentence but instead it is 'than'. Wow. Just. Wow.
• Nodded vs. Shook
  SERIOUSLY! Nodding is going up and down motion with the head, it means yes in body language. Shook is turning your head left to right with your head, meaning no in body language. YOU CAN'T FREAKING NOD YOUR HEAD NO! (Credits to Fanfiction 101 by ThatRebelGirl & ThatRandomUnicorn c:)
• Hopped vs. Hoped
  I hopped in the shower. Yeah, even though it makes you sound like a rabbit at least it's better than hope. I hoped in the shower. WHAT ARE YOU EVEN WISHING FOR?
