Hey my lovelies, I'm back I guess. I'm not a hundred and ten percent sure that I'll actually be back, but for now I am. I'm sorry for not completing the covers that were requested, by now I bet the cover requests are now expired and the people who requested me to make covers for them are like, "You're so unreliable!"

True, I can agree with that. I guess I started falling out of cover making only because the thought that people are waiting for me to make them. That puts a lot of pressure on me, and I hate pressure a lot. When I get tons of requests it makes me feel a little bit bad because I'm not producing covers as fast as I really want to make them. Also, it's pretty hard to find images on Tumblr because I can never exactly find the things I want and I don't know how to photoshop (I could learn but I don't have it actually, I need a link for the download!) but I could try GIMP. I heard photoshop could erase background pictures in photos (so that when I make the covers those backgrounds don't interfere with the actual cover).

Anyways, onto the topic!

There are thousands of fanfictions, and yes there are some really good ones that can touch your heart. Others are a good time burner, and others are just meh (no offense lmao). There are also stories that use really mainstream topics and events in their story. I'll give you a list of some, so you can keep in mind of what to avoid when creating the next chapter of your story.

1) Starbucks.
ANNOYANCE: 5/5 COMMON: 5/5
- Literally, nearly every mediocre (again, no offense. take note that i said nearly) story will have a starbucks in it. Well damn son, if Starbucks could make money off of fanfiction that included their store, they would be pretty rich. Scenario's such as working at Starbucks (writing a scene about the shift), having drinks with your friend at it (the scene about it), or meeting the love of your life there (plot idea overused).

2) Partying.
ANNOYANCE: 2/5 COMMON: 3/5
- No, it doesn't need to be constantly happening. Even if it happened once or twice, it is overused. Though parties are a great way to lead a relationship further, I'm talking about what happens after the party. Usually, the girl sees the guy sucking another girl's face off and the girl runs away heartbroken like, "I shouldn't have came here!!" well listen here, even if you didn't showed up there, that little "mistake" would still be the end of your relationship because in every story they find out about the mistake. Or, the guy and girl (or guy x guy, girl x girl) are drunk as f and then have drunk sex. Then the girl gets pregnant like oh no but FALSE ALARM PEOPLE SHE'S NOT REALLY PREGGO.

3) Babysitting. (or rather, kids in general)
ANNOYANCE: 3/5 COMMON: 3/5
- Oh yeah? You got called in to babysit some kids for you? Good for you. A lot of stories use some sort of kid to intensify the relationship between the protagonists of the story, but it can get annoying. Call me a bad person (or even worse), but I find the use of kids in stories very annoying. Sorry. Maybe it's just their speech (not babies, I understand that, but when someone puts in an seven year old child and makes them speak like, "I wuv chu so so much momma!" oh gosh no). The only kid I've ever accepted is Yui from Sword Art Online (not fanfiction lmao), and even with her I had a hard time warming up to.

4) Truth or Dare.
ANNOYANCE: 4/5 COMMON: 5/5
- It's always truth or dare like come on! I'd much rather prefer Seven Minutes in Heaven, or even Spin the Bottle for crying out loud! This little event is used so often, I can't count how many times. Whenever a story uses this game, I think of it as a 'filler' chapter rather than a chapter leading to the main part of the story. Also, when someone dares the guy to kiss the girl, they get RIGHT AT IT THE GIRL IS POUNCING ON THAT BOY ignoring everyone surrounding them lol i know for a fact most girls wouldn't do that unless they were some desperate slut who lives for PDA.

5) Twitter or any other social media
ANNOYANCE: 3/5 COMMON 4/5
- "What do I do Harry, your fans are just so mean to me, I can't take this anymore I'm out peace bitches!" Twitter and tweets are used often. This usually happens when the story has the boys famous. They sometime annoy me, since I think of it as a filler like I do with Truth or Dare. The tweets are the normal; the snappy mean fan who is just jealous and the starry eyed girl who absolutely worships the two together and has their own shrine for the two and prays to them every day before they go to bed that they'll be together forever. Though it's annoying, the only thing I like about it is the twitter names.. it's nice to see what the author put..

6) Songs
ANNOYANCE: 1/5 COMMON: 3/5
- Every once in a while a song goes into italic mode like yeah bitch im west side and goes into a song usually during a breakup or something like that. Though I don't mind it (usually I skip the lyrics), stories that uses songs to develop the story line are really annoying. Actually, some stories use song meanings to make the story.. a song comes up every 3-6 chapters when things are starting to get down
