Mandie's POV

I woke with an arm slung over me. I looked over and saw Marcel. I gazed at his hair .

'Wow , haven't seen those curls in awhile!!' my mind thought.

It's true. I haven't seen those curls since what 7th grade?? A deep voice snapped me outta my thoughts.

"Take a picture it lasts longer." Woah , Marcel's voice was deeper , a lot deeper in the morning, again haven't heard that in a long time.

" Good morning Marcie!" I said using the girly nick-name I chose for him when I was 10.

" I thought I told not to use that girly name." he whined , aw so cute.

~A while later~


I was watching T.V . with Marcel by my side. I decided to forget about the kiss, since it was probably a mistake.

" So what should we do today??" I asked him

" I dunno ? What about going to the mall or book store or ice cream shop?"

'Along as I'm with you' I thought

" Excuse me, what did you say Mandie?" Marcel said with full attention towards me.

" Oh , I said Mall , yeah we could go to the mall." I said blushing .

I've always wanted to date him , he's so kind and sweet and as a nerd really cute. If people didn't constantly tease him , maybe they'd see that . I know that I'd ruin our friendship if I dated him so I ignored the feelings.


~ At the Mall ~
We were going to watch this romantic movie , blahh . But Marcel liked it so I'm watching it with him , that's what besties are for. During the middle I looked at Marcel and he turned to me. Eventually we both started leaning in . We were about to kiss , then the P/A announced
' Because of technical difficulties the movie theater is closed I'm sorry'
Did I want to kiss Marcel , I'm so confused. Whatta 'bout our friendship??
