"H-hey Louis, w-what's up?" I wiped my face with the back of my hand.

He bent down to me. "Star? Are you okay?" He asked softly.

I shook my head and fell into his shoulder, crying. "Oh damn, Star what happened?"

I couldn't speak, I could barely breathe. I thought he liked me. I sighed and shook my head. "It's nothing." I said quietly.

He looked at me skeptically and helped me up.

"Let's get you home. Okay?" He asked brushing my hair out of my face.

I nodded at him and gave a small smile. He sent one back and we got in the car. My phone buzzed and I unlocked it.

Text messages.

From Harry.

Harry: Star, can we talk?
Harry: I'm sorry baby
Harry: Plz answer me
Harry: Are you okay?
Harry: Answer me!

I sighed and turned my phone off.

He drove up to my house and I got scared. What if Josh is there? I walked back to the car. "Louis, will you come inside with me?" I asked quietly.

"Sure, Star." He smiled at me.

I went back to the curb and watched as he parked the car. He walked up to me and I let out a shaky breath. I unlocked the door and walked inside.

I saw my mom and Josh sitting on the couch. "Where have you been young lady?" She glared at me. "Well obviously not here" I replied haughtily.

Her eyes went to Louis. "And who is this?" She said pointing to him. "This is my friend, Louis." I said pulling his hand and smiling at him.

"Well hello, Louis." She said pushing her boobs up and walking over to him. He chuckled nervously and backed away. "Hello Ms. Grey." He said looking over to me.

"Could you get any more whorish?" I scoffed. "Excuse you?!" She shrieked. "Nothing mom." I pulled Louis up the stairs.

I felt Josh's eyes on me as I walked away. We walked into my room and I locked my door. "Well... welcome to my fucked up life." I said chuckling.

Louis just sat on the bed. I jumped on it next to him, making it bounce.

I laughed and laid back. "So, what happened?" Louis asked me slowly.

"It's just... I thought I liked Harry, ya know? And I was kind of avoiding him because of something that happened. I know it wasn't fair to him so I went to go apologize for everything. But when I walked in... He was making out with Amber." I said sighing.

My eyes started to tear up again.

Louis reached over and held me. "It's okay Star. I'm sure he didn't mean it, he probably just thought you rejected him or something." He said into my hair.

"I guess so." I sighed. I played with the chain around his neck. Fidgeting with it and looking at it. He chuckled into my hair.

"Do you like it?" He asked softly. "Yeah, it's really pretty." I said quietly. He let go of my waist and his hands went around his neck.

I heard a soft 'click' and within seconds the chain was around my neck.

"No, Louis. I couldn't" I said raising my hands to take it off. He shook his head. "I want you to have it. A star for Star." He chuckled.

His hands fingered the chain around my neck. "It looks beautiful on you." He whispered to me. I blushed "Thanks, Louis." I said hugging him.

"Well, I have to go for now. How about I pick you up for school tomorrow?" He said smiling.

I nodded before hugging him again and letting him out the door.
