To keep my spirits up, I thought about the party tonight. I was singing tonight. For Rig's birthday, I bought him a custom made guitar with his name on it. It was financially painful, but I wanted to be independent and not ask my grandparents for help. It took me 2 and a half checks to pay for it. But, I think Rig deserved it.

I arrived home after a long day and took a refreshing hot shower. I must say tonight I looked good. My hair was curled and a short tight black dress complimented my curves. I put on purple pumps to give my appearance a pop of color. A gold necklace accessorized my neck. Grabbing my guitar case and Rig's guitar case, I made my way to the club. Bright colored balloons covered everywhere. Confetti was sprinkled on the floor and tables. There were more people in the club then there were on a regular night. It made it hard to breath. I mazed my way through the crowd to the back. Rig was dressed nicely. A button up shirt for his top and denim jeans for his bottom. I walked over to him and wished him a happy birthday.

I made my way back out to the party, and sat a random table. Little party favors sat on the table teasing me. I grabbed the bag and ate a couple of jelly beans. As I was on my last one, my eyes were suddenly staring at a crotch in tight black jean. I looked up to see curly hair boy in front of me.

"Is this seat taken?" He said pointing the chair.

"Nope." I said.

He sat down taking the bag of jelly beans and eating them.

"This is the third time I'm meeting you and I don't even know your name." I blurted out.

He raised his eyebrows.

"Sorry. How rude of me. I'm Harry."

He held out his hand. I grasped it and shook it. I couldn't see me hand anymore. His hand engulfed mine.

"Are you singing tonight?" He asked me.

I nodded. He looked at me and replied good. His friends joined us. The one with the quiff and the red head.

"I'm Zayn." The one with the quiff spoke.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Elodie." I exclaimed.

The red head introduced himself as Ed. I glanced at my watch, I'm singing next.

"I have to go up next." I said leaving the table.

Harry nodded and smiled. I don't know why, but I felt a wave of nervousness overcome me. I practiced in the back and went over the song lyrics. Rig came into the back, seeing me. His eyebrows shaped into a confused look.

"What are you doing?" He questioned.

"I'm just going over my song." I said looking at the guitar.

"But, you never practice before you go on stage. Are you nervous?" He asked sitting next to me.

I shook my head no. Deep down inside I was though. Now that I know that Harry will be looking forward to me singing, it made me feel a tad nervous. Travis was done singing so it was my turn. I walked on stage. I avoided looking for Harry. But I could spot him. I swallowed my spit and played the guitar. Soon, the words were just pouring out of my mouth like a running faucet. I guess I had my eyes close for most of the song, when I opened them, people were standing, including Harry, Ed and Zayn. I smiled knowing I did a great job. I was bombarded with hugs as I walked off stage. You were awesomes and you were greats flew in my face. I replied back with thank yous. I went back to the table where Harry was. When I got there, Harry was standing with his arms wide open. I guess he wanted a hug. We hugged each other. His chest was hard. I don't know why but I felt a sense of protectiveness when I was in his arms.

"You were phenomenal." He whispered into my ear.

His fresh breath sent chills down my body.

"Thanks." I whispered.

He let go and took a look up and down, sneakily. He pulled me in by the waist gently.

"You look better than you sound." He added, smirking.

I blushed. I bit the inside of my lip to prevent me from smiling like an idiot. I tasted a bit of blood, as I bit down.
