He Loves Me For Me
Chapter 17
Pitch black overtook the living room as I opened the door. When the light from the lamp illuminated the room, a note laid on the coffee table. The note read in my grandmother's sloppy script.
" Dear Eddy, sorry to tell you this way and coming home to the house empty. The Adkins had extra tickets to see the Opera and we just couldn't say no. We will be staying at the Divigo hotel for tonight and coming home tomorrow afternoon." I read quickly, skimming through the letter.
I sighed. Being home alone was boring. I was actually looking forward to my grandmother talking up a storm. I sat in the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge. After eating, I get comfortable after a day of work. Showered and warm in pjs, my bed was like heaven to me right now. I was so busy at work and everything, I realized I haven't talked to Harry all day. I figure he's asleep, it's pretty late. I do my nightly routine. Check twitter, Instagram the scoop. After 10 minutes of waiting for the scoop's page to load, the home page was filled with pics of Harry and a girl I've never met before or seen before. She looked fairly young. Blonde hair, exotic looking and not one bit of ugly. A switch was switched. My eyes took up every inch of each picture. I came to realize what Harry had on this morning was the same clothes that he was photographed in. My heart rate elevated slightly, but I felt my heart was ready to fling out my chest. Harry and the girl were laughing in the pics. My face soften in disappointment. Did he really have meetings all day or did he just say that to push me out the way? All I could do now push it out of my head. I closed my laptop, and fell asleep.
Ok :)
