The moment I knew that what happened last night would never disappear, I would run. Even if harm was done to me by my actions, living with the father that raped me continued to disgust me, no matter how I tried to forget.

I slipped on my black flats, which was definitely not fit for this occasion, but it was the most comfortable for me. I tossed my green backpack, filled with some supplies and other necessary items which I agreed with myself, were needed.

As I reached for the doorknob to the exit of the front door, I heard footsteps, angry footsteps marching down.

"Diana, where are you?"

His voice this time was subtle, so gentle and soft. Almost too suspicious. I decided to keep my mouth shut, and quickly turn the doorknob and open the front door.

"Diana, where the hell are you going?"

Now, his voice turned to stern and angry, like usual. I turned back to face my father, standing there in his ordinary business suit. "You wouldn't really think that after committing a crime to your daughter, I'd stay with you?"

"Don't you dare fucking leave."

His words were as if he was stabbing me, telling me to stay miserable living here with these conditions. Tears rolled down my cheek, as I took one step out into the pouring rain, and began sprinting the other direction.

As fast as I could, not dare looking back.

"DIANA, I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"

Those last words from him sounded as if last night to him was not a regretful decision.

The pouring rain, continuing to fall on my raincoat and skirt. The absence of people, neighbors, and even cars, made me feel scared and lonely. It was just the storm and me, together in this journey.

"Hey, you need a ride?"

I felt a hand grab my shoulder, too tense, too forceful. I met face to face with a boy my age, with a dark jacket and a red cap. He had dark blonde hair, and a mischievous grin, which I did not want to get involved with. "It's fine, I'm doing alright," I reply nervously, brushing his hand off my shoulder.

"Oh come on babe, what's a girl like you doing in this weather? How about I take you to my place for some fun?"

His words made a shiver go down my spine. "Uhm, no thanks, I'm okay. Thanks for the offer," I shrugged, taking one step back as a precaution.

"Don't worry, I'll be gentle," he winks, his hand now on my back.

I push him away, and wonder if I should scream for help. "Please, go away."

"What's the rush?"

Suddenly, he falls to the ground in front of me, as I let out a soft scream. Behind him is a tall boy with curly hair and green eyes. "Did you just.. Punch him?"

"I don't like guys who don't back away when a girl says no. Kind of creepy, don't you think?" He grins.

"I-I guess so?" I perfunctorily agree with him, nodding my head.

"Do.. you need assistance?"

I didn't know if I should ask for help, or just ignore it. Honestly, I did really need help. Standing out here in the pouring rain wasn't very much of an improvement. "I guess.."

"Are you going somewhere?"

"No.." I lied.

"I'll take you home then."

"No!" I refuse, almost too dramatically.

"Is.. something wrong?" He asks.

I don't answer. "Well, I'm taking you home. I don't want you to get hurt."

His answer is too sincere, like he really does want to help me. Before I could answer, he says, "Wait, you're Mr. Aurora's daughter?"

I bite my lip. I can't lie, or get out of this situation anymore. "Y-Yes.."

"Diana Marie Aurora? Right?"

I nod my head, a depressed frown plastered on my face as I look away. "I'm pretty confident of where your home is, then! I'll take you there now."

"I-I.." I rose my voice to speak, but just stopped. "Okay then."

"We can take my car!"

"Okay."

"Also, if you were wondering," he smiles. "My name is Harry. Harry Styles."

"Great.." I sigh, as he grabs my hand.

"Let's go. I'll take you home."
