They Don't Know About Us

The Future

I woke up, my head resting on Harry's chest, I took my head off his chest looking up at him to see his neck craned back, mouth open. I hadn't thought of him as a celebrity, or a member of a popular boy band, very much, if at all. He was just Harry. But in that moment, with his head back and mouth left hanging open, he looked more normal then I'd ever seen him. He just was, the things I did and went with him and his friends to was just their job. The girls that were always there were just part of his job, it was just what he did. It wasn't anything special to me, it was just his job.

I didn't know what time it was, however, my phone jolted alive making a loud noise as it moved violently against the hard table. I tried leaning forward, but couldn't as Harry's arms wrapped around my waist.

"Don't leave, I'm cold." He mumbled, his voice rough, deep.

"All right." I appeased him, not really wanted to move either. I put my head back down on his chest, closing my eyes and bring my legs up closer to myself. The time didn't matter, all that mattered was he wanted me there, keeping him warm.

I never felt weird that Harry choose to be with me. I never second guessed him liking me. I never thought about all the other girls he could be with. When we both found out about each others scars there wasn't any doubt in my mind that we were meant to meet. God put Eleanor in my life and Harry in her life for us to meet. Not that I thought Harry and I were supposed to get married, just that we were supposed to change each others lives. I didn't know how, I didn't really know why it was me that supposed to change this man's life, but for some reason it felt like I was supposed to.

Eventually I fell back asleep. My mind calmed feeling Harry's even breaths and heart beat putting me into a hypnotic state.

Harry's Dream

The lads and I were sitting in the back of an SUV. We were in suits, different variations of the same thing. Purple being the common color among all the fabric. The windows were tinted, but the flashes pushed their light through shinning into our eyes. The car stopped next to a red carpet. Where were we? It must have been some sort of awards show. I was pushed out of the car first by Louis who came next. The rest of the guys followed. Then the girls came out, Eleanor, Danielle, Perrie, Lexi and Demi Lovato for some reason.
They all wore gorgeous dresses. Lexi came by my side to put her arm around my waist. We walked the length of the carpet, stopping every few feet to answer a few questions asked by people representing a network. We were all being asked the questions though, Lexi stayed by my side.

I felt nervous for some reason. I didn't know why though. I felt like I was thrown into the scene, completely unaware of whats going on.

"Who are you all wearing?" Ryan Seacrest asked. They all knew who had created their clothes, I had no idea.

"Isn't it Kalvin Klein?" Lexi asked me.

"Yeah, that's what it is." Then we moved on, we were pushed to the next one.

"Are you all right?" Lexi mouth was close to my ear, her sweet voice barely audible. I nodded, but she knew something was up. Part of me felt like I'd just been thrown into the scene.

"Yeah I'm fine." I smiled at her, the warmness of her eyes instantly comforting me. With that I remembered everything. It was five years ago tonight that I knew she was special. She was going to change my life, make something out of me. Make something more then a stupid boy in a popular boy band. I'd been with Lexi for a total of five years. I thought about how different she was, how different my relationship had been then any other. How we still hadn't had sex yet. She really must be special if we hadn't done that yet.
We were here for the Grammys, we were up for three awards, including best single, which was a song I'd helped write about Lexi. Little Mix, the band Zayn's now wife was a part of. Niall had been with Demi for a few months now, she was up for a Grammy as well. Liam and Danielle had been married for two years and Eleanor and Louis were still having fun, not worrying about marriage quite yet.

I looked at the dress Lexi was wearing, I had picked it out, she picked out my suit, making my wear the bow tie. I made her wear the white converse.

"You sure you'll be all right?" I put my hand in my pocket feeling for the little velvet box in it. I pictured the ring in my head, it was an oval diamond, big like my love for her. With four smaller diamonds, two on each side of the big one. Five diamonds representing the five years we'd been together.

"Yeah, I think I'll be fine." She released her grip on me turning to Eleanor, leaving me standing by myself. I thought about the reasons why I wanted her to be mine forever. There was so much it was hard to wrap my head around.

Things had jumped, suddenly we were sitting in the audience, Lexi's hands were tangled in mine as we waited for the next presenter. I shook my leg nervously as Ellen Degenerous revealed the nominees for best single. Lexi looked over at me when our name was called, playing a short clip of the music. She didn't know the song was about her, I hadn't told her about that yet, it was all part of what I was about to do.

"And the winner is," She opened the envelope. "One-" But none of us could hear the rest, the crowd exploding with screams. Our gang of friends jumped up hugging each other. I hugged Louis first, who sat to my left. Turning to meet Lexi planting a very passionate kiss on her lips before taking her hand and bringing her up with me on stage. She tried to let go of my hand. Niall came behind her giving her a sweet smile and nudging her along. She looked so cute, her face was full of confusion and shock as she climbed the stairs. Zayn was the the first to give thanks for the amazing award. Then Louis, Liam, Niall, and then it was my turn. I brought Lexi with me over to the microphone.

"First I'd like to thank my family for always being there, all the other people these guys have already said, Thank you to the fans for all the support, and finally thank you to Lexi, my wonderful girlfriend, who I was lucky enough to take with me tonight. Uhh, She also was the inspiration for this song, so with out her this couldn't have ever happened." With each word my heart beat faster. "Umh," I reach my hand in my pocket turning to her, holding her hand out in front of us. "I would not be here with out you, you've changed my life and made me such a better man, I can't imagine my life with out you," I pulled the box out opening it and getting down on one knee. The lads were jumping around with excitement. "Everything you are is what I need, and everything you do is perfect, I love you so much," A tear slid down my cheek. My lungs failing me, only allowing me to whisper. "Will you marry me?" Tears flowed down her cheeks, the smile on her face had grown, I saw her take in a deep breath before she took my face in her hands bring me up to her kissing me, matching the passion from before.

"Of course!" The crowd erupted yet again in screams. She never broke contact with her eyes as Lou, Zayn, Liam, and Niall congratulated us. We were ushered off the stage happiness filling every inch of my body.
I felt this weird pressure on my face while we waited backstage. It felt like kissed but no one was kissing me. Then my eyes opened as I felt warm breath on my neck, leaving paths of wetness from gentle kisses. It was all a dream. I was disappointed, that was by far the best dream I'd ever had.

"Good morning sweet heart!" She was lingering on one spot of my neck, probably getting me back from the love spot I left on her's.

"Morning!" My arms were still wrapped around her. Her warmth pulsing through my body. "You're heart was beating really fast so I wanted to wake you up in case you were having a bad dream.

"How long have you been up?"

"Not long." I reluctantly took my arm from around her trying to sit up. "You weren't having a nightmare, were you?" Her eyebrows crinkle with concern.

"No, not at all actually, I was having a really good dream." Her concern turned into curiosity. I wanted to tell her, but I didn't want to freak her out. It wasn't that I wanted to get married this minute, but it did make it obvious that I loved her. Everything about her made everything all right. She was so nice and funny and caring. I really did love her. There was no denying it. After having a battle with myself I came to the conclusion I wouldn't tell her about the dream and I wouldn't tell her I loved her, yet. It was still early in our relationship, but it wasn't that I was waiting to make sure I didn't change my mind or to see if the feeling were true, I wanted to wait so that I wouldn't scare her, have her convinced I'm crazy. "We won a Grammy." I explained to her the part that meant the least to me. Though it was cool, she was all that mattered.

"That's cool."

"You were there," I told her. "You were wearing a really pretty dress with white converse, which I picked out for you, you made me wear a bow tie, not that I minded." I explained a little further. She had a half smile on her face I hadn't seen before. It seemed genuine, like she was happy for me.

"Well I hope one day that actually happens." She inhaled sharply after she had laid her head back down on my lap. "I mean I hope you win the Grammy some day. Not that it wouldn't be cool to be there with you." The Grammys weren't for more then a few months, I think she was afraid probably of the same things I was afraid of, scaring her.

"I understand, I think it'd be cool if you were there." I tried to comfort her.
"Then me too." I wondered if she felt the same way. It would all be very fast if she had. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't, it's been less then a week since I've asked to be my girlfriend, but feeling are feelings. I thought about my favorite John Green quote. The thing about feelings is they demand to be felt. And so they were, I just wished they didn't demand to be felt so soon in the relationship. "I think I really really like you Harry Styles."

"Only think?" My voice was small.

"Well I cant decide if it's really really or really really really." I giggled at the cuteness of her.

"I know I really really really really like you."

"Wow four reallys?"

"Yup!" I told her more confidently then I felt. She giggled, it was so adorable, the way her cheeks gain color the longer her giggle lasted. The way her eyes got damp with tears like every time she laughed. It didn't matter how hard the moisture always came. She stared up at me, her eyes moving around my face. It looked as though she had been studying it, taking in every detail, as i was doing the same with hers. Yeah, she had acne scars and bags under her eyes but she was till the most beautiful girl in the world to me. It didn't matter what she looked like anyway, it was her mind, how she thought. Everything she had to say was important to me. The way we could talk, she was so open and honest with me, letting me be honest with her. Not judging me for any thing.

"I really really really really like you as well." I took her in my arms smiling into the kiss I left on her plump lips.
