They Don't Know About Us
Surprise
My alarm went off to wake me in the morning so I wouldn't over sleep. I went out to the living room to wake up Eleanor and Perrie. They were sitting on the couch with mugs of tea in their hands,a blanket draped over their legs.
"Morning!" I was so happy to have slept in my own bed.
"Morning!" They greeted me in unison.
"I actually should get home real quick to shower and change." She stood up the blanket falling off her legs.
"You don't have to dress all fancy like, some jeans a sweater would be fine." Eleanor told her. I remembered the first time El came with me. She came out of her room in a really nice dress, with fancy shoes.It was also a fear of mine when I started going back when I was a teenager.

We went to church, the sermon was about forgiveness. How we all need to forgive, even when we don't want to. Even when we're talking about the unforgivable. Everyone needs to be forgiven, everyone.
That kind of hit home, my anger towards Charlie, all the pain he'd caused me. All the suffering he still puts me through. How he won't leave me alone. I think part of me knew I was supposed to forgive him, but at the same time, he just seemed like the unforgivable.
We walked out of the church, not talking, I was waiting for Perrie to say what she thought of it. She didn't say anything till we got into the car.
"I liked that, it was different then the service I remember as a child."
"Do you think you'll want to come next week?" I tried to refrain from getting too excited but, the excitement overpowered me.
"Yeah, That'd be good."
"Want to call Harry, Louis and Zayn to see if they'd like to get some lunch?" Eleanor asked, as it was our usual thing to do after church. It was the diner we went to today. Meeting the boys, there and seeing Harry and I just laugh as we both realized we were here again. The friendly lady from two nights wasn't working, glad because Harry and I being here two nights ago, that was one of those things they weren't supposed to know about us. The time we spent here, the things we did, which weren't particularly intimate, just something I wanted to keep to myself.
Eleanor flagged down our waitress, asking for five dollars worth of quarters. When she got them, Harry and I sat and laughed as the first song she picked came on. It was my favorite.
"I downloaded this onto my ipod." Harry whispered into my ear. I laughed louder. We managed to cram six people into one booth. Three on each side, Harry and I were lucky enough to sit next to each other. Eleanor and Louis were the unlucky ones who had to sit on opposite side of the table.
"What would you like?" It was a guy from one of my classes, whom I'd only saw during class. He looked from his pad of paper. "Oh, hi Lexi!"I
"Hello, you're name's Chad, right?" He nodded before asking how we all were. We answered good.
"What can I get for you?" We looked at our menus, but I knew what I was going to get. I looked to Harry, who had his eyes on the menu with an unsureness. Eleanor had ordered a burger with pickles, her typical meal. Perrie ordered some chicken fingers. Louis and Zayn both ordered salads, which I didn't blame them, we'd been eating kind of junky lately. I waited for Harry to order.
"I'll just have what ever you have." He told Chad who looked at me waiting for me to tell him my order.
"Okay, a chocolate milkshake and a salad please, no croutons, ranch on the side." I saw him smile out of the corner of my eye when I said milkshake.
"Oh and a glass of water please." I was now smiling too.
"So you always get a milkshake here?" He asked quietly, so only I could hear.
"Yes, it's the only reason I come here. That and the music." We giggled, the others looking at us like we were crazy.
"What do you guys keep talking about?" Louis finally asked as we kept whispering to each other.
"Stuff." Harry wasted no time to answer him. Louis turned the corners of his mouth down opening and closing it, mimicking his flatmate in a really sassy way, but only the way that friends do. Harry did it right back. We laughed as they continued making fun of each other until their laughter overtook their motions and words leaving unable to understand what was happening.
"How was church this morning ladies?" Louis asked as he knew that's where El and I went every Sunday at eleven. Harry shot his eyes at me in shock.
"It was good! Why do you seem shocked Harry?"
"I don't know, it's just a little weird I guess.." He trailed off.
"You're going to school to be a youth pastor, right?" Louis asked again.
"YuP!" I loved it when I could tell people what I wanted to do with my life. It was a thrill letting others know what God has in store for me. Our food came soon after making even less room then we had before. We all went to our own conversations again. "Do you always get a milkshake?"
"No, actually. This is only the second one I've had from here."
"Do you like them?" He took a giant gulp of the frozen dairy in his tall cup. When his dark pink lips off the straw he nodded his head vigorously.
"Good!" I sucked down some of my own frozen chocolate goodness.
I finished my milkshake, but only half the salad before I became full. I pushed my plate away to signify I was done. Harry put his arm around me pulling my close giving Eleanor a litte more room at the end of our seat. I put my lips on Harry's ear to whisper a question into it. But then I chickened out in fear of making something bigger then what it really was. Instead of asking him a question I told him something.
"I'm bored." I was always impatient and some situations I'd be insecure about telling someone that, but with Harry I'd known he'd understand. It's not like we talked about it either, it was literally just the fact that we got each other. So many things came so easy to me when I was with him. I was able to things I'd never had the courage to do otherwise. Maybe it was Harry, but more then anything it was God allowing Harry to make me feel that way.
When I returned my head back, facing the table, Harry brought his face close, replying to me in my ear.
"I know, hmm, what could we do too make this more interesting?" His voice was raspy, quiet, sweet. Something I would be able to listen to for days. But before I had a chance to suggest something, Harry waved Chad down. "Do you have a child's menu, like with crayons?"
"Yes, can I get you one?"
"Two please!" I told him, my face unable to contain the excitement that was crayons. He came back with two folded up pockets with four crayons in each.
"They're just like children!" Zayn laughed as we unfolded our paper to color on. We started out a game of dots. A game I was a pro at, crushing Harry for all he had. The possibility of him letting me win didn't even cross my mind, because I knew he hadn't. We drew cats all over the paper, as we both loved them.
"Are you guys done?" Louis asked in a rather bored voice.
"Yeah!" We accidentally said in unison. We looked at each other before laughing at two things. One) We had been bored as well before the crayons. and Two) We just said something together. I don't know the last was so funny, it just was.
Eleanor, Louis, drove together in her car, Zayn and Perri rode in his car, I rode with Harry in his car.
"Where are we going?" I begged, he and lads were talking about something as I waited inside the car. Eleanor and Perrie were also waiting in the other cars. They were most obviously up to something.
"It's a secret."
"But I'm really good at Keeping secrets!" I pointed out. "Better then you anyway." I teased.
"You think you're so funny, but I haven't told anyone but you about that one thing." The air we shared became serious. The pain from my small cut suddenly exploding with pain. I lip became clenched between my lip, trying to hide the pain.
"Are you all right?" He noticed my sudden silence, and the smile disappear from my face.
"It's just that cut, it kind of burns."
"I'm sorry Lex." With that he took his hand off the wheel to pick up my arm, brought it too his lips and kissed it. "There all better." He said as if I were a child and he were my father.
"Thanks." I phone made it's usual noise to notify me of a text. It was from Eleanor.
*Has Harry told you where we're going?* I watched as she sat in the passenger seat in the car in front of us.
*No, he won't tell me. Has Louis told you?* I sent back.
"Are we all going somewhere together?" I asked as we followed Louis, who seemed to be following Zayn.
"Yup!"
*No, and he knows how much I hate surprises.* I did too, the first year we were friends I tried throwing her a surprise birthday party, and she almost passed out when everyone jumped out when she walked into the room.
*It will be all right. This probably isn't that bad then. Have you talked to Perrie, does she know*
My pressed the buttons on the virtual keyboard on my phone's touch screen.
*She says she does, but she's not allowed to tell.*
"Is it just the six of us or are we meeting Niall, Dani, and Liam somewhere?"
"We're meeting them somewhere."
"Where?" I asked hoping he wouldn't notice before he answered.
"You'll see."
"Perrie knows! Why can't I know?"
"Because Zayn is weak. He would give Perrie the world if she asked three seconds after she asked for it." Is he saying he wouldn't give me the world if I asked for it? I wanted to ask him that, but as I said it in my head, it sounded kind of... It sounded like something I shouldn't, considering we'd only been a couple for a few days. Remembering that I just brushed it off my shoulder, it wasn't anything to worry about.
