Oh how cliché

[Rebecca's POV]

"Harry, really. Where are you taking me?" I asked as he dragged me out of the gym.
"You will see." He said pulling me towards his car.
I giggled and shook my head. We got to his car and he went around and opened the door for me. I smiled and got in. He closed the door then went around the front of the car to get to the drivers side. Once he got in, I turned my head and just stared at him. He started the car and began to drive off. I continued to stare at him; he was getting uncomfortable. He turned his head slightly giving me the 'what are you looking at' face. I would smile; he would smile back awkwardly.
Finally after about five minutes he said something. "Why are you staring at me?"
"Because maybe if I stare at you long enough, you'd get fed up and tell me where we're going." I said.
"You're just going to have to wait miss impatience." He said while turning back to the road.
I rolled my eyes and turned to look at the road in front of us. Since i'm not from here, I have no idea where the hell he's taking me. All I know is it's not the way to my apartment. It's about 10 minutes till six. I looked out the window at my surroundings and couldn't understand why we were going into the city it looked like. I'm still in my gym clothes... where is this boy taking me?
"We should be there soon, so don't worry." He smiled at me.
I smiled back. "Great." I said sarcastically.
"I hope we make it." He mumbled to himself.
"What?" I asked turning to him.
He shook his head. "Nothing."
I nodded. "Uh huh." I muttered turning to look out my window again.
We rode for another twenty-six minutes before he parked in front of a coffee shop. Before we got here, I noticed the Big Ben and the London Eye. Oh how I wish I could go on The London Eye and see the Big Ben. You know, like up close and personal. Dreams right? I mean, obviously Harry took me into the city for coffee.. don't know why, because we've got one back in Camden.
He unbuckled himself and I did as well. We got out and he met me on the other side. He held out him arm and I took it. I didn't ask questions. I thought I might sound rude. He walked us inside the coffee shop.
"Alright, go wait at a table. I'll be right back." He said breaking off and going into the line.
I shrugged and went to go sit by the window. As I was waiting for Harry, I looked out the window. You could see the top of the London Eye from behind the building in front of me. I just kept looking at it dreaming what it'd be like to be on that thing. Scary I would imagine. I mean, it's really high and it's glass. I turned around a bit and I saw some of Big Ben. That is one huge clock. No wonder it's a tourist site. I was sitting in the seat looking back to the London Eye when Harry came back with two to go cups.
"Ready?" he asked.
I looked up at him. "..Yeah." I was confused.
He chuckled to himself and flicked his head towards the door. Guess we're going. I got up and he handed me one of the cups. He opened the door for us and we walked out.
"What is this?" I asked looking down at the cup.
"Find out yourself." He said and pulled my arm to the right.
I was walking to the car and he made me turn, so we could walk down the street. Oh alright. I put the cup to my mouth and drank some. Yum! hot chocolate. "Hot chocolate. Perfect." I hummed.
He smiled. "I thought it would be." he said as we walked down the street.
"So, where are the other boys?" I asked not paying attention to where we were walking; just following him.
"Holiday with the girlfriends." He said shrugging and taking a sip of his drink.
"What about Niall?" I asked.
"He went home to Ireland." He said walking to the side of the street.
He looked both ways and started to cross; I stayed. Once he made it to the other side, I saw him about to talk to "me". He saw I wasn't there, so he turned around looking for where I went. I giggled. He turned his head to me and gave me the weirdest look.
"Bec, what the heck?" He asked turning back to the street.
I didn't say anything. It's really embarrassing.
"Hello? why am I still the only one over here?" He asked laughing at the end to make it less forward like.
"I can't." I shouted across then taking a sip of my drink.
I looked up at him and he had the most confused face looking right at me. "Why not?"
I switched feet. "I'm scared."
He sighed. "Why are you scared to cross a road?"
I didn't say a word. I just stood there looking at the ground. A car past and I backed away from the street. After a few minutes later, I heard him running across the street back to me. He got to me and lifted up my head. "Why are you scared?"
"Think about it, Harry." I whispered.
He looked to my left and thought for a second before looking back to me. "You're not going to get hit."
"You don't know that." I said feeling embarrassed.
"Rebecca, I promise you you are not going to get hit." He smiled.
"Harry, I haven't crossed a road for awhile now." I said biting my lip looking up at him.
"You can't be afraid forever, babe." He said ending with that little smirk of his.
I sighed. "Harry.."
He grabbed my hand. "We'll cross together this time."
He started pulling me to the side of the road again. "Harry," I fought. "I can't."
"Rebecca, stop. You need to cross a road one of these days." He said looking both ways.
"I choose another day." I panicked as he stepped onto the road.
He pulled me right across that road as car was coming, but no where near us. I was still panicking telling Harry to hurry or we'll die. He laughed and reached the other side in about ten seconds. Once on the sidewalk, he turned to me and said. "See wasn't that bad."
"That bad?" I nearly shouted. "I was freaked. We are never doing that again."
He laughed. "We have to go back."
I groaned and walked off. He caught up and faced me in the right direction. We were walking down some street and I was hoping we wouldn't have to cross another road. I'm sorry, but I am just really scared i'll get hit if I try again. Make fun of me all you want. I don't care.
We talked some more and drink our hot chocolates. We laughed and walked. As I threw away my empty cup, He tapped my shoulder. I turned around and he wore a big smile. "What?" I asked.
"Do you know where we are?" He asked sounding excited.
"No." I said being honest.
He chuckled. "Look to your left." He said tilting his head that way.
I gave him a weird look as I turned my head slowly. Once I saw what he has brought me too, I froze. The London Eye. I can't believe it.. oh my god.
"Oh my god, how'd you know I wanted to.." I pointed to the giant wheel.
He shrugged. "I can read minds."
I giggled. "Are we--" he cut me off.
"Going on it? yes we are." He said linking our arms and walking towards it.
"Oh my god." I whispered excitedly. I honestly didn't see this coming. He's so sweet.
As we waited, he kept saying this wasn't everything. I don't know what he was talking about honestly. I was just looking at the Eye the entire time. He tried to get my attention, but gave up as we were almost about to get on. There were a lot of people here tonight wanting to ride. I didn't think we'd get on, but then again I need to remember that this thing is HUGE.
It was finally our turn to get on. Harry held my waist, so we wouldn't get separated as we got on. When we did get on, I went right to the window and held onto the rail. As time pasted, more people got on with us and Harry ended up behind me. He had his arms around my waist, but was holding onto the railing in front of me as well. This was so exciting.
"Are you ready?" He whispered in my ear.
Oh.
I nodded. "More than ready."
He chuckled and put his chin on my head as we waited. Once the Eye started moving, I was just amazed at the view. Harry was pointing out landmarks all around. When we got to the top, I said something.
"This is so cliché." I giggled.
"How so?" he asked.
"You know, the boy taking the girl on The London Eye at night. Him with his arms around the girl looking out at the view." I said smiling up to him.
"I don't know. Usually if it was cliché the boy and girl would probably be sharing their first kiss on their first date, or the boy would be proposing to the girl." He said looking down to me.
He then chuckled. "We've kissed already, and I can assure you i'm not proposing to anyone any time soon."
I laughed. "Alright then."
He laughed and we continued the ride. I wonder why he took me here. I mean, we're not "together" anymore and this is like a date type of thing. Hummm.
The ride ended way to quickly for my liking. We exited and he took my hand walking us over to the sidewalk again. He let go of my hand and we walked side by side towards to some street festival that seemed to be going on.
"Why'd you bring me here?" I asked.
He shrugged. "You seemed stressed, so I wanted to help you out. Plus, I really wanted to go to this street festival and didn't want to go alone. I figured since we were already together i'd bring you."
I shook my head. "How lovely of you to consider my wardrobe though." I said looking at my gym clothes.
"What? I don't see a problem." He said looking at my clothes as well.
"Harry," I laughed. "i'm all sweaty and unattractive."
He frowned. "You could never be unattractive." then walked faster than me.
I blushed and caught up to him. "That's sweet, Harry."
"Just telling you the truth." He said looking forward with his hands in his pocket.
I didn't say anything after that. He's just... ahh. How did someone so caring, and sweet end up so.. horrible? I'm glad he's back. I really am. Louis was right to who he was before all that... wrong stuff he got caught up in.
We walked into the festival and music was playing all around. We walked around and saw art work and some shops set up with jewelry. It was cute. Some games were placed around as well as different kinds of food. Colors were everywhere. There was this stage in the middle of the whole thing and there was a set on it, like for music. Drums, a mic, a keyboard, guitar stands. I wonder if they have any live bands playing? There was music playing though from there. Like huge stereos were playing the music.
We were walking by it as people decided to dance. It was only a few, but it was nice. I tapped Harry's shoulder. "Hey, you wanna dance?" I asked still looking at the people.
"Um, you can. I think I have embarrassed myself enough at the gym already." He laughed.
I waved him off. "Party pooper." I then skipped off towards the people.

[Harry's POV]

"Party pooper." She said before skipping off towards the people. There were only like ten. Maybe.
I crossed my arms as I watched her dance. She really loves to dance. If only, there was a way I could get her audition back. I wonder if Simon has even tried? I mean, he's big and powerful. I bet he could get it back for her, but considering he wouldn't want to break his reputation by telling the people just why she missed her audition, he wouldn't do it. Dumb Simon. I hope to god he doesn't find me a new "girlfriend". Honestly that just shows I never cared and I just want a girlfriend to just have one. That's not going help my "image".
I rolled my eyes just thinking about it. I zoned back to Rebecca and saw everyone stopping. They were doing some dance that everyone knows. I don't know the name right off the bat. The music switched to some tropical, Brazilian music, I think. The point is i've never heard of it and she started dancing... like she knew it.
She danced like this.
(No copyright, stklukov video not mine)
Rebecca is dancing like the girl with the crazy ideas yellow shirt.
The people who were dancing with her backed away and it was just her dancing. It was really great. It's like she had a dance for every song. Not even kidding. More people started crowding around watching Rebecca. She was a star right now; no one noticed me. I smiled at her and she smiled back. Near then middle, she came towards me and started pulling me back to where she was dancing.
You know like in those movies where the girl is dancing and she pulls the boy who claims he "can't dance" to the dance floor and she teaches him the dance. Well.. that's happening right now. I have no hips to even do this, but I tried. She was teaching everyone how to do it really. By the end everyone was doing the hip movement and jumping around. It was great fun.
How does she even do this?
Oh right, she's a people person. I chuckled to myself remembering when she told me that. That was the night she met my mum.
We walked off hanging on each other laughing. She was truly amazing. The way she smiled as she did that. You could tell she was having the time of her life.
As of right now, i'm going to to everything I can to make sure she gets that audition back, or at last a new audition. Something to where she'd be able to dance everyday.
She deserves it.

[Rebecca's POV]
"You are so corny." I joked as he handed me the rose he just found on the ground.
The way he did it was funny. We were walking and he just stopped. I turned back to see why and he bent down picking up the rose. Once he stood up, he gave me the eye with a smirk. I giggled. He started walking to me slowly and sexy like. I tried not to laugh. He then bent down on one knee and held out the rose. I took it blushing.
He stood up. "Hey, at least I do have a romantic bone in my body unlike some lads."
We laughed.
"Thank you, it's," I looked at it. "beautifully smashed."
He popped his collar. "I try."
I laughed.
We walked back to the car, but as we reached the street we needed to cross it got difficult, and by it, I mean me. Harry took a breath before we crossed. "Alright, listen to me," he said trying not to chuckle. "it's okay."
I rolled my eyes at him trying to be comforting. "I'll decide that."

I looked at the street; a lot of cars were going past. It was late and everyone was going home. This doesn't seem so good. I started breathing faster. I feel so stupid for being afraid. Harry took my hand and looked both ways and waited for the cars to go by.
He was just about to cross when I held him back. "No, Harry.. there's a bus coming."
He looked both ways and then turned to me. "That bus is far away; too far for it to hit us." He said pulling me into the street. This time I let go of his hand and ran right across the street eyes closed. I heard him laughing behind me as I ran to the shop wall hiding away from everyone. I felt his hand rubbing my back. He put his head by my head and said. "See wasn't so bad."
I removed my arm and looked up at him. I smacked his shoulder and walked towards the car. "It was terrifying actually."
He just laughed. "I can't believe you're scared. That was months ago."
"You weren't the one almost getting hit by a bus, Harold." I huffed.
He just laughed. "The Harold card are we?"
I cracked a smile and sped up, so he wouldn't see. I caught up and we ended up to his car. He opened the door. "Ma 'lady." he bowed.
I giggled. "Thank you kind sir." I curtsied.
I got in and he closed the door going around to the drivers seat. He started driving and I leaned my head on the window. I did't realize how much this day had drawn out of me until I closed my eyes. I soon fell asleep. I did in fact sleep the whole way home, because of the tiredness.
I didn't know that until I heard keys and soft cursing. I opened my eyes slowly. "Harry?" I mumbled.
"Go back to sleep, love." He shushed.
I then looked behind him and saw the night sky. I was in Harry's arms. I heard a door open and then I laid my head back on his shoulder. Everything was really a blur. I only heard sounds, like footsteps, dropping of a bag, keys hitting the counter. Harry began to walk up stairs. Either I was in his apartment, or mine. I wasn't too sure at the moment. I felt him turn, so he could get into the room. Soon he placed me down.
I opened my eyes again and looked at him looking down at me. "Where am I?"
"Your room." He said removing the hair from my eye.
I nodded. "How--" he cut me off.
"Your keys were in your duffel." He said then bet down and kissed my forehead. "Go back to sleep, see you next practice." He winked. "Although, I doubt you need it after tonight."
"Goodnight, Harry. Thank you." I said then yawned. "For everything," I cuddled into the blankets. "the help with dancing, the London Eye, the festival," I smiled. "The hot chocolate."
He chuckled. "Your welcome. Now goodnight, love."
I waved him off. "Goodnight.." I trailed falling back to sleep.
I heard him chuckled one last time before I am almost positive he left. I snuggled into my pillow and fell asleep right then.
Today was... perfect.
