Those Eyes
Chapter Seven
The song for this chapter is Angels by The Xx.
The car ride to Nina’s was quite, but comfortable. When we got into her apartment I broke the 30 minute long silence.
“Did you mean it?” I asked, watching her close her front door behind her.
“Mean what?” She asked gazing up at me.
“The song, the last song you sang. Did you mean it?”
“I never sing something I don’t mean.”
That was enough for me. I closed the space between us and crashed my lips to hers. She instantly responded, her lips moving against mine in a fluid motion. My hands ran down her sides, landing on the side the back of her thigh. I grabbed them and pulled them around my waist and carried her away from the front door. We made our way down the hallway when Nina spoke.
“I love you, Harry.”
I stopped in my tracks and looked into her eyes. I saw another one of her walls crash to the ground when she spoke those words. I knew that it took everything in her to say those words. I knew that I loved her from the first time I heard her sing. The first time I heard such raw emotion pour out from deep in her soul.
“Nina..” I tried to steady breath so I didn't mess up the words I so desperately wanted to speak. “I love you.” Her eyes scanned over the entirety of my face before her lips met mine again. I made my way the rest of the way down the hallway to her bedroom; closing the door behind us.

You don't have any idea how much your feedback means to me. :) Thank you so much. It makes me happy to see that this story will stay with you. I could have been more descriptive, but I thought that it would take away from the rawness of the story. And I also wanted the readers imagination to flow with my own.
It's perfectly fine that you listened to Skyskraper, I', just happy that you listened to music at all, since it is a big part of the story.
