The next morning I wake without the comfort of Harry’ warmth engulfing me; I open my eyes and stretch my limbs, careful not to hit the small ball of fur at the edge of my bed.
I reach to my nightstand, trying to find my phone but find a piece of paper instead. Curious, I sit up and unfold the paper.

Hey, I had to go in early; Liam and Dani spontaneously decided they wanted matching tattoos. I’ll be back later. Xx –Harry.
P.S did you know you snore in your sleep? Don’t worry its absolutely cute.
I smile at the cute words. Snore in my sleep huh? That’s new.
Suddenly there’s a small meow sound and some scratching on my leg. I look down to see Puss clawing at my PJ bottoms.
I look at the time.
11:20.
Shit, she must be hungry.
“Okay kitty I get it, you’re hungry. Let’s go feed you before daddy gets mad” I get up and hop over the small creature that sprints out my room.
After feeding Puss, I get dress and get ready for a short day at the museum. We’re nearly done with the preparations and all that needs to be done is place settings and simple things like that.
“Okay Puss, I’m going to be gone for a few hours. Please behave while I’m gone. Kay kitty?” I say to the cat. She just stares at me then jumps up, playing with her ball toy.
I scratch her head gently. “I’m going to take that as, ‘Yes Via I will be a good kitty’”

She was not a good kitty, like AT ALL.
Basically when I came home there was a weird screeching sound. When I walked in the kitchen her bag of dry food was on the floor and she was nowhere to be found. Needless to say I was a bit irritated but hey, things happen right? Wrong.
When I walked into my living room the scene was that of a horror movie. Well, a horror movie for an interior decorator.
Puss was happily on my couch clawing at any piece of fabric she could get.
Now I’m picking up the frayed pieces of fabric from my couch and chair.
Puss runs by me into the bathroom. There’s a quiet meow followed by her quickly exiting the washroom. I stare at her fleeting form for a second before I go into the other room to see what mess she has yet again created.
I slowly walk into my bathroom, not wanting to see the mess.
“Puss! You crazy cat! I swear I am going to grab you by your tail and then I am going to-“The sound of knocking on my door stops me from going any further.
I take a deep breath to calm myself. I close my bathroom door and head to the main entrance. On my way I see Puss jumping on my couch.
“Oh, no you don’t”
I grab her before she can claw anything else and secure her under my arm where she licks my hand.
“Hey babe” Harry greets me as he walks into my semi clean apartment thanks to a certain mess of fur.
“I brought food” He says setting the two McDonalds’ bag on the kitchen island.
Puss jumps from my arms and runs back into my living room, no doubt trying to tear up the remainder of my couch.
Harry and I sit on the stools; he immediately digs into his hamburger.
“Your cat is the spawn of Satan”
He cocks an eyebrow at me. “What makes you say that?”
“Hmm where do I begin?” I stroke my pretend beard and recap all the events his little Puss did to me today.
“First, I come home and see all her food on the floor, that wasn’t so bad until I got to the living room” I glare at him as I say the last part.
He wince’s and puts his burger down.
“What happened in the living room?”
“My whole furniture is gone that’s what!”
Clam down Via, it’s just a cat. A tiny little animal that clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing. If she knew how much it upset me she wouldn’t do that stuff…At least I hope she wouldn’t.
“Oh! And just a few moments ago I found her playing shredder with my toilet tissue”
Harry’ eyebrows rise in surprise then he burst into laughter his dimples deepening in his skin as he continues to laugh at me.
“It’s not funny Harold” I say sternly crossing my arms over my chest.
Harry clears his throat.
“You’re completely right babe it’s not.”
I stare at him. He breaks out into a huge grin.
“I hate you”
“Oh c’mon” he gets up from his seat and walks to me. He wraps his sleeveless arms around my waist and kisses my cheek.
“I’m sorry it’s not funny. I will discipline Puss”
I roll my eyes.
“Okay, it’s a little funny. And you don’t have to discipline her; she probably doesn’t remember what she did wrong anyway”
Satisfied, Harry grabs a chair closer to me and continues eating.
“I really am sorry about your couch though, I’ll buy you a new one”
I sigh, “Oh fuck it. I got it at a flea market anyway. I’m just surprised she did it”
“Ha-ha yeah, seems like her claws are growing in”
“You don’t say”

“So what kind of tattoo did Danielle and Liam get?”
Harry and I finished eating. We’re now sitting on my bed, since the couch is out of the question, just talking.
“Actually, Liam only got tatted. When I tried to ink Danielle she yelled as soon as the needle touched her skin. She then ran to the bathroom and threw up.”
Wow.
“Oh goodness, is she okay?”
What the fuck? Danielle has been throwing up since the cabin.
CLUE ONE.
“Liam said she does that almost every morning now”
CLUE TWO.
“Damn that sucks. What did Liam get then?”
“He got the date they met in roman numerals on the inside of his right upper arm. Danielle was going to get the same thing but on her left wrist. She’s coming back in a week when she’s not so sensitive”
CLUE THREE.
I bite my lip. She’s been throwing up since the cabin, she’s sensitive, and she throws up almost every morning… OH MY GOSH! How could I not see it before?
Harry looks at my wide eyes.
“What’s wrong?”
I look at him my mouth slightly agar.
“I think Danielle might be pregnant”
