Harry's POV

Harry didn't sleep much that night. His sudden revelation had made him an insomniac. He forced himself out of bed into the shower, they had another recording session today. Harry wasn't looking forward to spending the day with the band, they all thought he was a real arse. He just had no idea how to deal with these feelings. Sure, he's liked girls before, had girlfriends even, but Karmina was different. She may be young but she was an adult and if she were to commit it would have to be a serious relationship. Deep down Harry knew he wasn't ready for that type of commitment. Besides, how was he going to compete with her dead husband who was an honorable man fighting for his country. And then here is Harry, who fucks bimbos on a nearly daily bases and gets drunk on airplanes. Harry just wasn't good enough for her.

Harry exited his bedroom and went to lay on the couch to wait for the others. Zayn walked out of his room and sat by Harry.

"I'm not mad at you, Harry. I just don't agree with you that's all. The boys feel that way, too." Zayn sipped his water.

"Thanks," is all Harry could think to say. They all took turns in the recording both. By the end of the day all was right again with the boys and they were goofing off in the studio.

"So what are you going to do, Harry?" Louis came over to Harry side while the other boys were listening to a play back.

"What do you mean? I told you what I'm going to do," Harry remained sitting nonchalantly.

"Harry, c'mon I know you aren't that cruel," he added.

"I don't know what to do, Louis. Everything is different with her. I just... I don't know," Harry mumbled. He leaned his head back and closed his.

"If she isn't ready for a relationship and you aren't either, you have to let her go," Louis said softly, then left Harry to his solitude. Harry knew Louis was right. After there session ended Harry headed to the nearest bar to do what he did best.

Karmina's POV

Karmina called Harry's number nearly everyday that week. She then decided he was a gentlemen at all. He either couldn't handle all her emotional baggage or he had just figured out that he wasn't going to get into her pants. Karmina was leaning towards the second reason.

Karmina was disappointed in Harry. She thought she saw something in him that evidently wasn't there. Today was her meeting with her editor and she really didn't need her head to be filled with images of Harry, on his bed, with his curly hair and suductive smile... Karmina forced herself to snap out of this Harry infatuation, it was the last thing she needed right now.

Charles picked up Karmina at noon and they had a lunch date with the editor. Karmina was nervous to hear what the editor had to say, but she was to distraught to focus on what she was saying.

"Karmina? Karmina?" Charles tugged her arm.

"Huh what?" Karmina looked up to see them both staring at her.

"Rachel says that she put comments in the manuscript for you to look over," Charles gave her a confused look.

"Yes dear, if you have any concerns don't hesitate to call me after all it is your book. But I feel a movie deal coming soon," Rachel the red-haired editor rambled.

"A movie deal? Wow, that's big." Karmina tried to look enthusiastic.

"If there is any confirmations on that please contact me first for negotiations," Charles made sure to work for his money.

"Of course..." Rachel continued to babble on. Eventually, lunch was over and Karmina retreated back to her room to work on her novel. She worked for hours before deciding to give it a rest and head for bed.

Later that night there was a series of loud knocking at her door.

"Karmina!" An English boy called from the other side. Karmina answered the door to see a drunken Harry swerving from side to side nearly falling on her.

"Harry, what are you doing here?" Karmina wiped her eyes. "It's like three in the morning."

"I came here for you," he pointed his finger at her and stumbled a bit forward

"Jesus," Karmina mumbled.

"No, it's Harry!" He shouted louder.

"Shh! Come inside your going to wake everyone up. Karmina helped Harry inside and on to her bed. She stood back and watched him slur his words.

"Karmina is just so beautiful and different. Your just to good for me," he spoke to the ceiling. Then looked over to her. "Karmina come here," he held out a hand.

"No, I'm okay over here," she spoke softly.

"Please!" He yelled and she folded and joined him on the bed.

"Okay, but you have to lower your voice alright?" She said sternly.

"Okay," Harry whispered. "Karmina I just really like you. I just want you to like me too," he continued.

"I do like you, Harry. But let's talk tomorrow when you're not drunk okay?" Karmina spoke gently knowing drunk people were easily agitated.

"It's just you stole my heart, I wouldn't be here if you hadn't done that," he argued.

"Harry, bedtime okay?" Karmina whispered. He finally nodded and dozed off.
