Diana

Chapter 7

“Diana! Over here!!” Jane called as soon as she saw Diana enter the class. Diana was shocked to hear her name and more shocked to see Jane asking to sit with her. She thought that yesterday Jane was being nice to her just because she felt guilty and would probably forget her by today but it clearly was not the case. Diana just smiled as she made her way to Jane and sat beside her.

“Hey!” Jane said when Diana had taken a seat beside her.

“Hi.” Diana replied.

“How was your day?”

“It was fine. What about yours?” Diana spoke.

“It was awesome. I went to this amazing party and let me tell you it was mind blowing.” Jane said. “You know there is a party today? Why don’t you come along with me?”

“I don’t think I will be able to make it. Party is really not my thing.” Diana said trying to find a way to not attend the party. She never had been a partying type of girl. She just didn’t like parties and she never was able to understand why people like them. Parties were just filled with sweat and drinks and breaths filled with alcohol. There was absolutely nothing to like about them.

“Come on!! It will be fun and I will be by your side all the time. Plus I can assure you that you won’t be bored. Please….” Jane pleaded.

Diana remained quiet for a few seconds, thinking about whether she should go or not. She looked at Jane who was looking at her with her big brown eyes and Diana couldn’t say no to that face. Jane had been with her when Amanda let her down and even today she had been extremely nice to her. How can Diana say no to a person who had been fairly lovely to her? Plus, one time won’t hurt anyone, could it?

“Fine, I will come.” Diana finally replied with a sigh, making Jane squeal and clap her hands. Jane gave a quick side hug to Diana, entirely surprising her. Diana was not used to be around someone so friendly and she was definitely not happy with the fact that she can’t say no to anyone and eventually give in their request. She had to learn to say no to a request.

“It is at my boyfriend; Louis’ house. I can come to pick you up.” Jane said and Diana just nodded her head, still deciding whether her decision was right or wrong but gave up when her mind couldn’t decide anything.

Before Jane could say something else, the teacher entered the class, following by a pin drop silence. Diana and Jane both turned their heads towards the front and listened as the teacher started giving instructions on what they were going to do today. Diana tried her best not to think about what a bad idea was to agree to go to the party and focuses all her attention towards the teacher,

“You are sitting with me, right?” Jane voice startled Diana as Jane came out of nowhere.

“Jane you scared me.” Diana said as she closed her locker and faced Jane who was standing against the locked beside Diana’s locker.

“Sorry.” Jane apologised. “So, you are sitting with me, right?”

“Well, I don’t have any other place to sit.” Diana said.

“Great then, let’s go!! I am starving.” Jane said excitedly as she dragged Diana along with her. Diana couldn’t understand how Jane managed to remain so giddy and happy all the time.

“Just an apple?” Jane asked as Diana paid for her apple.

“Didn’t find anything healthier.” Diana replies as she shrugged her shoulders.

“Well, I totally agree with you, but I need to eat or else I will definitely die because of starvation.” Jane said as she paid for her plate which contained three slices of pizza, one burger and a coke. “Plus, I love all the junk food.”

They walked and took a seat on the table for four, in the corner of the cafeteria.

“I guess Louis should be here soon.” Jane said as she took a bite of her pizza.

“Oh! I didn’t know he was going to sit with you. I will sit somewhere else.” Diana said as she started getting up. She didn’t want to be the third wheel and make it awkward for Jane and Louis as well as for her.

“Sit.” Jane ordered, totally catching Diana off guard.

“I am sorry?” DIana spoke confusedly.

;“I said sit down.” Jane repeated herself, motioning Diana to take her seat. When Diana sat down, Jane looked at her with warm eyes.

“Where were you going?” She questioned.

“You said Louis was coming.”Diana replied.

“So?”

“I thought to give you some space.”

“Did I ask you to leave?” Jane asked and Diana just shook her head.

“They why were you leaving? Diana I wouldn’t have invited you if I didn’t want you to be here. So stop trying to run away, okay?” Jane spoke softly. “I consider you as my friend, so, please don’t act like you are being punished. Feel free to do or say whatever you want… except running away.”

“Okay.” Diana replied, making Jane give her a smile.

“Look there they are!! “ Jane said as she looked behind Diana. Diana slightly turned her head and looked in the direction Jane was waving. Two boys were walking towards their table, one was a total stranger but the other was very familiar to her. She quickly turned her head and faced Jane, mentally praying to God to make her invisible. She couldn’t believe her luck. Of all people, Jane’s boyfriend had to be the friend of Harry; the guy who already caused her so much trouble because of Amanda as well as because of being in her mind all the time. After yesterday events and Jenna totally embarrassing her, Diana didn’t know how to face Harry.

Jane got up as the two boys reached their table and gave Louis a hug, who in returned gave her a peck on her cheek. Harry on the other side was stunned to see Diana sitting at the table with her best friend’s girlfriend. He just couldn’t believe his luck. He was happy that he somehow got to see Diana as well as would definitely get a chance to talk to her.

“Hey Harry.” Jane’s voice forced Harry to divert his gaze form Diana to Jane.

“Hey.” He replied with a smile.

“So you are the new girl.” Louis asked, turning Harry’s and Jane’s attention on Diana.

“Yeah, that’s me.” Diana said as she got up for her chair.

“I am Louis.” Louis said as her raised his hand To shake.

“Diana.” Diana replied as she shook hands with Louis.

“One question. Does that absolutely amazing looking Jaguar belongs to you?” Louis asked and Diana just nodded her head.

“Wow. New girl with a hot ride.” Louis remarked making Jane let out a giggle and causing Diana to blush. “I definitely want to have a ride in it.”

“Stop embarrassing her, Louis.” Jane said as she smacked Louis’ head and he just raised his hands in air showing that he surrendered.

“Hello Diana.” Harry said, making Diana gaze lift up from the ground and meet his.

“Hi.” Diana spoke softly.

“Oh! I absolutely forgot, you two know each other.” Louis smirked earning a glare from Harry. “Sorry, mate.”

Louis sat place his tray beside Jane and took his seat leaving the seat beside Diana empty. Harry gladly sat on the seat beside Diana, a big smile never leaving his face.

“I invited Diana to the party tomorrow.” Jane said as they started eating their lunch.

“That’s great. I hope you are coming. It is going to be a blast.” Louis spoke to Diana.

“She is definitely coming. She just couldn’t say no to my puppy dog face.” Jane said before Diana could even utter a word. So, Diana just gave a small smile.

“How will you come?” Louis asked.

“I will pick her up.” Jane replied.

“That won’t be necessary.” Harry spoke out of nowhere. “She lives just across the street from my house. I can pick her up.” Diana eyes widened in surprise. She never thought that he would volunteer to pick her up.

“Well, that great.” Jane said.

“The party starts at eight but you two can come early and help me arrange stuff. My mom will kill me if she finds any of her showpieces damaged when she returns home.” Louis spoke.

“I will pick you up at seven.” Harry said to Diana and she just nodded her head in reply.

“Well, that’s done then. Diana you are going to attend the best party of your life today.” Louis spoke proudly causing Jane and Harry to laugh and Diana joined in with a small smile as she just couldn’t control herself.

Diana felt nice and actually happy. Her smiles were not forced but genuine. She was glad that she finally found people who were nice and so friendly. She thanked God to make her move to Silvercoast because if she hadn’t then she would have never gotten to meet Jane, Louis and on top of all Harry.

Notes

Hey..
So here is the next chapter…
Hope you like it…

Look I have absolutely nothing against Eleanor. She seems a sweet girl to me but to be honest I don’t know anything about her other that the fact that she is Louis’ girlfriend. So, instead of making up her qualities I made Jane as Louis’ girlfriend who is a fictional character and my imagination and I can write anything about her without offending anyone.

One more thing, I don’t know why but this site has some problem. It is updating my story twice and I don’t even know why… So if you see same chapter being updated twice then please don’t hate me, it is not my fault…

Anyways what do you think about the chapter…
