Just Your Average Girl

It has been 5 weeks since I left California. 5 weeks since I last saw Niall. 5 weeks since I last held Niall in my arms. Things were getting slightly easier, I don't cry as much, saying goodbye on the phone got easier to do. Even though I am saying things are easier, they still aren't easy, they just got easier. My heart still broke every time we had to end a phone call or FaceTime, I still cried every once in a while, but it wasn't as intense or as often. I FaceTimed Louis and Harry all the time, they always made me laugh. They were really my two best friends, besides Ann and Olivia. Whenever they can tell I'm upset, they make me smile. I know I can trust them with anything, they tell me everything, and I tell them everything. They know me better than most people.

Today was kind of a stormy day, even though it is summer, it is still cloudy and raining. I ran to the store to grab some snacks and I was just going to have a movie day today. As I was in line to check out a magazine caught my eye.

NIALL HORAN WITH NEW GIRL??

I started at the headline for what seemed like ever. There was a picture as well. It was him with my favorite person, Sammi. Can you hear the sarcasm dripping from my voice? I practically slammed the magazine down on the counter.

"This too please." I said trying my best not to cry right then and there. I quickly paid for all my things and sped home, luckily there were no cops. Once I got inside I ran into my room and read the article. It was talking about how Niall was caught having lunch with Sammi. It mentioned how they were caught hugging and what seemed like kissing. I let the tears stream down my face for a few minutes before rage took over me. I quickly FaceTimed Louis, he quickly answered.

"Hey Mads what's up?" He asked once we connected.

"What the HELL is this!?" I said holding up the magazine. Now I don't swear, but I am furious. Louis face drained from all color.

"Uh, Harry! We have a situation!" Louis called over his shoulder.

"What's up? Hey Maddy! What's goin-oh" He said once he saw my face and the magazine.

"As I asked Louis, what the hell is this!?" I said wanting answers and I wanted them now.

"Maddy, to be honest, we don't know 100%. We know that Niall really really cares about you, more than anyone he has ever before. We know that Sammi called him up wanting to talk and apologize and he agreed then, you know, you really should talk to Niall about all of this." Louis said explaining.

"So what? He's cheating on me!? I said with the tears falling down on my face once again.

"What? No! Mads, Niall really likes you. This is just something you should talk to him about, not us." Harry said explaining.

"I don't know if I can even stand to talk to him right now." I said glaring at the ground.

"Don't do this, please. Just talk to him. Let him explain everything, I promise nothing is going on with them. Please, just call him." Louis pleaded.

"Fine, I'll give him one chance to explain." I said giving in.

"Thank you." Harry said. We talked for another few minutes before they had to go. Once we hung up I waited for a couple minutes before I dialed Niall's number. I wanted to see his face while he explained everything to me, so I FaceTimed him. He quickly answered my call.

"Hey babe! What's wrong?" He asked seeing my face.

"Explain. NOW!" I demanded holding up the magazine. His face turned whiter than a ghost.

"Okay so here is what happened."
