Just Your Average Girl
Finally
"Quick! Take a photo!" I quickly kneeled down and stuck my hands in the handprints of Frank Sinatra. I loved him and his music. Niall quickly snapped a photo.
"Okay, now it's my turn." He quickly handed me the phone and got down. He posed and I took a picture.
"You know it doesn't even look like you. How are you going to remember it was actually you when you took this photo?" I asked him. I was curious. When he looks back at this photo, is he going to remember that is actually him? Because he looks nothing like himself.
"Because I will always remember this amazing date with the most amazing girl ever." He said pulling me into a hug. We walked around and took photos with many more handprints and some of the stars. I loved this place, it's like a little part of history. I could do anything with this boy and have so much fun.
Once we got done looking at those we headed over to the Hollywood bowl/ the Hollywood sign. They don't allow anyone up to the actual sign anymore, but the hollywood bowl is the closest you can get to it. We headed up there and since Niall is who he is, he pulled a couple of strings and we were able to go up on the stage. We went up there and messed around like we were preforming to a huge crowd. Now to Niall, this was nothing new. He has done this many times before. I on the other hand, have never done anything like that. So it was kind of fun to pretend. We messed around there until it was time for us to leave.
After we left there we headed over to the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It was beautiful. I have always wanted to visit this, but never had the opportunity. We just went inside the lobby and it was magical. Of course anything Disney has it's name on is magical. The outside was astounding, too. It was just crazy. We then proceeded to go on a walk down the Hollywood Boulevard, just to see everything around it. As we were walking down talking, laughing, having a great time, someone called my name. Who would possibly be here that would know me? As I looked up to see who it might be, I saw her, Sammi.
"Why hello darling, Maddy right? You were the girl that was with Niall the other day."
"Yup, that's me."
"How great to see you again. Who is this that you are with?" I looked at Niall unaware of what to say.
"I'm Erick, an old friend of Maddy." Niall said in his best American accent holding his hand to Sammi.
"Pleasure." She said grabbing his hand "So, it looks like you two are, um, going out together so you wouldn't mind if I took a shot at Niall? Good. Because the other day, it looked like you two were about to kiss. I just couldn't let that happen, so I had to say something. You see, I think Niall is cute and sweet, and not to mention the fans would go nuts if we dated. Hello publicity. I couldn't have him kissing some random, ordinary, average girl. So, I am just going to be clear on this one thing. You stay away from Niall. You are a nobody and nobody cares about you. So you just go on living your sad, little life and forget that you ever met Niall Horan because he is mine. Got it? Well I better be off, I'm shooting a new movie. It was nice to meet you Erick, tootles." And with that she was off. Are you serious? Did Sammi just threaten me? Do you want to know what the best part about it is? Niall was there to hear it all, and she had no idea. I just stood there stunned for a minute. As soon as she was out of the way Niall turned to me.
"Ummm…. what was that?"
"I don't even know, did she just threaten me?"
"I think so, I thought she was a nice person. Maddy, I am so sorry about that. I had no idea she was that way." He apologized to me.
"Don't. You're okay. I don't think anyone knew she was going to be that way."
"Well if it makes anything any better, you don't have to worry about me dating her. I mean, look where I am. I'm out on a date with you, and not her. To be completely honest, I wouldn't have it any other way." I cannot believe this guy, could he get any better?
"Do you really mean that?"
"Of course I do. Why else would I go through all this trouble to not look like myself so I could be here with you and not get mobbed? I haven't told you this, but I really like you Maddy. I was hoping I could tell you in a more… appropriate setting. Not in the middle of a street. But I just don't think I can hold it in any longer. You are one of the greatest girls I have ever met. And so what if you aren't famous!? I like you and that's all that matters." I am shocked. Did Niall Horan really just tell me he likes me?
"You like me? I never thought someone like you would like someone like me. To be honest here, I like you, too. It's not because of your fame or anything. I got to know the real you, and the real you is a great guy. I like you for who you are, not what you are." I have never told a guy I like them before. This whole thing is new to me. Stuff like this has never happened to me. And with that, he grabbed my face and crushed his lips on mine. I instantly kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck. As cheesy as it sounds, I swear there were fireworks. It was my first kiss, and it wasn't anything like I imagined it to be, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
