Second Date
My alarm blares signaling that it is now 7. I moan and grab my phone and turn off the alarm. I sat up and stretched then I just sat there for a minute remembering everything that happened the night before. It still doesn't click that Niall leaned in to kiss me, and the fact that we are going to be spending all day together. I got up and got ready for the day.
"Hey guys, will you help me pick out something to wear today?" I asked the girls who got up shortly after I did. They were going to go to Disneyland today with the rest of the boys. We had all clicked as friends.
"Sure, you'll look hot, and yet, still be comfortable and disneyfied." Ann told me. They quickly went through my suitcase and decided on my outfit. By the time I was changed and ready to go it was 7:50.
"So what are you guys going to do with the boys today?" I asked the girls. " I feel like I haven't really seen you two this trip." I know we had the first day and the second day we were together for half of it. And at Universal we were together but I was with Niall a lot. Yes, we had yesterday at our shopping spree, but I still feel like I have been with Niall a lot. We haven't been able to have a full day to be freaks together at Disneyland. I feel bad." I told them, I really feel like I haven't spent as much time as I wanted with them. It was just going to be the three of us. I'm not complaining about meeting One Direction and getting to spend a lot of time with them, but I feel like I haven't been with my besties.
"Don't complain, at all! We are hanging out with One Direction and are now friends with them. And you are going on a second date with Niall Horan! How about we put aside tomorrow for just the three of us? We can go to Disneyland and be 5 years old together!" Olivia told me. That honestly sounded so much fun! We came down here so we could go to Disneyland together, and that is just what we are going to do.
"Sounds perfect! Just us three, no One Direction boys." I told her. We were all excited for tomorrow, I finally get to show my inner Disney freak yet. Just then someone knocked on our door. Ann raced over and answered it.
"Why hello Niall. How are you today?" She asked him very animated.
"I am great how are you?" He asked her pretty amused about how she was acting.
"I am doing just grand."
"Good. Is Maddy ready?"
"Yes, I am." I said walking over to the door. His voice light up when he saw me, I couldn't help but do the same.
"Ah-hem" I heard Olivia pretend to clear her voice. I didn't even notice we were just standing there.
"Oh, um, you ready to go?" Niall said gesturing outside.
"Yeah. I'll see you guys tonight." I told Olivia and Ann before I closed the door.
"I like your outfit." Niall said to me.
"Why thank you. I feel it necessary to dress all disney for Disneyland, and Olivia and Ann helped me pick it out." I explained to him.
"Well I like it. So I was thinking, maybe we head over to California Adventure and hit California Screaming first? Go ride the big roller coasters?"
"Heck yeah! I love roller coasters! And after, let's go to The Tower of Terror."
"Yes!" By this time we were at the car. He opened my door and I stepped in. He ran over and got in his side. The car ride was only about 5 minutes long and we just sang along to the radio. Ever since last night when I sang in front of him, it isn't as bad. He has already heard me so there are no surprises. When we pulled up he parked the car. Since he is who he is, we got in pretty fast.
"Okay, well let's hurry over so we don't have to wait in line too long." He then grabbed my hand and we practically ran over to the ride. I just laughed the whole time about how ridiculous we probably looked to everyone.
"Yes! The line isn't that long, we should be on within like 10 minutes!" I told him. We quickly raced and got in line.
"Are you ready for this? Can you handle the thrill?" I asked him, I honestly don't care if I am acting like a freak. I am excited and if he doesn't like it, well then who cares. Even though he is famous and all, if he doesn't like me for who I am, then that doesn't matter.
"I am so ready. I am mentally giving me a prep speech." I am so glad he is going along with it. This is why we get along so well.
"So what do you want to do today?" I asked him.
"Well, I was thinking that after this ride and The Tower of Terror, maybe we could go over and get fast passes for World of Color. After we do that, we should go on Soarin' Over California."
"Sounds perfect! World of Color is amazing! And how could you not love Soarin' Over California! That ride is so much fun!"
"Perfect!" We were next to get on the ride. When the attendant asked how many were with us, Niall told him 2 and we got down getting ready to sit down.
"We got the front! Only the best seats!" Niall said obviously thrilled.
"You know, I have never sat in the front on this ride." I told him.
"Are you serious? Well then, you are in for a treat." He told me and we sat down and buckled in. We rode the ride and as usual, I just laughed the whole time. Whenever I go on roller coasters I just laugh. I don't scream or anything, just laugh. Niall was shouting, screaming, laughing, everything. Once the ride finished and we got off, he turned to me.
"I love your laugh, it's so cute." I blushed, yet again. Gosh, he must think that that's all I do.
"Thanks, I actually hate it. I always wished I had a cute laugh." I told him
"Well don't wish that, because you do." I just smiled at him. "Well we better head off to The Tower of Terror."
"You're right. Let's go!" He grabbed my hand again and we ran over to the ride. We got there and rode the ride. It was so much fun. When we started falling down he grabbed my hand and clenched it tight, and, as usual, I laughed. I did squeeze his hand right back. We got off and just laughed at the photo, we looked ridiculous! We then ran over and got fast passes for World of Color, luckily there were still some. After we got those, we went to Soarin' Over California. We got on pretty quickly, I was surprised that the line wasn't any longer. When the ride was over, we headed out.
"So, now what?" He asked me
"Umm… how about we go ride the Matterhorn?" I suggested.
"Sounds great!" We then headed over to the ride. We road that ride and many, many more, even It's a Small World. We got in a water fight during that ride, even though we weren't supposed to touch the water. After spending all day at Disneyland, we were pretty exhausted.
"Well, it's time for the show to start soon, let's head over." He told me and we started walking over to California Adventure to watch World of Color. We found a great spot and we could see everything.
"I have to tell you something. I hope you don't mind if I cry, because I will. The last time I watched this, I sobbed. And you can't make fun of me, deal?" I asked him. I was being dead serious. I am a baby when it comes to these things, I cry about almost everything.
"Deal. As long as you won't make fun of me either. Cause there is a possibility that I might cry as well." We told me and I just smiled. We watched the whole thing and it was amazing! I could watch it over and over. Yes, I did babble like a baby, and Niall did tear up a little. He won't admit it, but I saw a few tears fall. We headed back to the car and drove over to my hotel. We walked inside and went to my room. He turned to me once we reached my door.
"So, have you thought about what I told you last night?" He asked me. I had to be honest, and I will say, I do want to kiss him, but there is a lot of pressure.
"Yes, I have." I honestly told him
"And where do you stand on it?" He asked stepping closer to me. Oh gosh, am I really about to do this? Will my first kiss really be with Niall?
"Why don't you try again and find out." I told him with a smirk on my face. Where are these words coming from!? I have never been able to say these kinds of things. He just smiled down at me and started to lean in. Okay, I can't believe this is actually going to happen. I am about to kiss Niall! Then something happened, something that neither one of us expected...
