"Alright, now no more riding with Louis or anyone else today. I called dibbs and you must honor the roll ob dibbs!!" Niall said once we all existed the ride grabbing my hand.

"Oooh! Maddy's blushing!!" Olivia started teasing me.

"Shut up!!" I said giving her a death glare.

"It's okay, I still think it's cute." Niall told everyone slightly nudging me. We started walking around just to look at everything.

"Why are you acting like this?" I asked Niall once everyone was far enough ahead that they couldn't hear us.

"Acting like what?" He asked pretending like he didn't know what I was talking about.

"This." I said holding up out intertwined hands. "I just met you yesterday and I am still not the kind of girl you date. And we aren't going out, I'm not complaining, I like holding your hand, but I just am not sure why exactly you are."

"You're right, I did just meet you yesterday, but that doesn't change the fact that I still think you're cute and really cool. Can't I hold your hand?"

"No! No, you totally can, it's nice, I guess, well I guess I am just not used to this kind of thing. Guys don't normally hold hands and stuff like that with me."

"What do you mean?" He had a really confused look on his face, what's not to get?

"Well, I have never had a boyfriend, I have only been on a few dates and most of them were to dances where I asked the boy, I have never been kissed, never had a guy tell me he likes me. I'm not the kind of girl guys fall head over heels over."I said feeling the tears start to fill my eyes. This has always been a hard thing with me. Maddy, don't cry in front of him! I hurried and wiped away the tears, but I think he noticed.

"I have no idea what you are meaning. How were guys not falling at your feet begging you to go on a date with them? You are really pretty, you're funny, sweet, smart, kind, friendly, you have an extremely cute smile and amazing eyes, I am surprised all the guys weren't stranding you outside your window every night." This boy seriously knows how to make me blush.

"Well, thank you, that means a lot. I just got used to all the guys going for Olivia and Ann. It always seemed like guys were constantly liking them. I just got used to being the single one. I got used to being the one that guys just stay friends with and don't have an interest in romantically."

"Well, those guys were crazy and stupid not to like you, you're one of the greatest girls I know. So what if I only met you yesterday? I know that you are a great girl and any guy would be absolutely lucky to have you."

"Niall, thank you. You are seriously one of the sweetest guys I know. I never thought in a million years that I would ever meet you, have you hold my hand, ask me on a date, spend time with you, or have you say those things to me. You are a really great guy, you know that? And don't forget pretty cute….."

"Ooh, you think I'm pretty cute?" He said with a huge smirk on his face.

"Hmm, it's a possibility." Then all of a sudden he stood in front of me grabbing my shoulders.

"Maddy, promise me you will never forget that you are beautiful and a great girl. Never, ever think bad about yourself ever again. Promise me."

"Uh, yeah, I promise. Kind of caught me off guard there." He just laughed and pulled me into a hug, I never thought a hug could feel so good.
