Traces of Your Touch (An AU Fanfiction)

Chapter 28

*WARNING: Mild adult content and language has been used in this chapter*

"Yeah! About that..." Louis trailed off, scratching his head. "I've actually been waiting for your call."

"You've been stalking me?" Aria pretended to be creeped out, widening her eyes as if in shock. Louis' expression was hilarious as he shook his head in denial.

"No no n-" He tried to explain but stopped when he saw Aria laughing, holding on to her stomach in mirth. Before he could get back at her for freaking him out, someone else appeared at the doorway.

"Who is it, dear?" Beatrice stood behind Aria, a warm smile on her face and an apron tied around her waist. Aria turned around swiftly, panic-stricken.

"Oh- Umm. Mom, th- this is my f- friend Lou-"

"Lovely to meet you, Mrs. Morgan. I’m Louis Tomlinson. I’ve heard wonderful things about you from Aria." Louis cut in with a smile, offering his hand to Beatrice, which she accepted graciously. Aria looked from Louis to Beatrice and back to Louis. When in the world had she said ‘wonderful’ things or anything at all about her mother to Louis?

"Oh! Are you Johannah's son?"

"That's the one!" Louis replied, smiling.

"Well, come on in, dear! Your mother is quite the lady. Such a big heart Anne and she has."
Beatrice ushered Louis to follow her to the living room. Louis followed her, leaving Aria standing dumbfounded in the doorway. She closed the door and joined them as they sat on the sofa. The same sofa she and Harry had occupied the night before. Aria shook her head to get him out of her thoughts. Not now. She'd think about him later.

"So- would you like something to drink, Louis dear? Tea or coffee? I was actually making some scones."

"Tea sounds lovely. Thank you, Mrs. Morgan."

"Oh. Call me Beatrice, dear." Aria's mother offered, getting up. Aria sat there baffled by her mother's friendliness towards Louis. "I'll go make some tea while you and Aria chat here."

“A- actually, mom, Louis and I will head to my room. If that’s alright?” Aria trailed off for her mother to catch on.

“Oh! Of course, dear! Silly me! You two go on ahead! I’ll send the tea and scones upstairs!”
Aria got up and signaled Louis to follow her up the stairs to her room. As they made their way up, Aria spoke, “I don’t normally take anyone to my room but since you’ve already seen it, I figured it didn't matter either way.”

Aria kept walking till she was almost there and she continued, “Speaking of which, if you haven’t met my mom before, how did you manage to get into the house this morning?”

Louis cleared his throat to make the situation sound less awkward before answering. “I may have used…unconventional ways.”

Aria swung around in shock, putting her hand over her hips before speaking. “Louis Tomlinson, are you telling me that you sneaked into my house?”

“Now, love! Sneak is a big wo- Oww!” Louis rubbed at the area on his arm where Aria had playfully slapped him.

Aria turned away and opened the door to her room, heading in and plopping down on her bed. Louis followed her and closed the door behind him. He looked around her room swiftly and smiled at the balloons with which he had filled her room.

“You’re cleaning the room up, you know.” Aria smirked at Louis, making his heart race for some odd reason.

“Now, why would I do that?” Louis answered cheekily, crossing his arms. “Not my room, not my problem.”

“Well it is your problem if you really want me to forgive you!” Aria made a serious face, to which Louis’ whole face blanched. Aria couldn’t hold on to the expression any longer, and she burst out laughing. Louis let out a shocked gasp at being teased again, since he was the one who usually tricked people. He grabbed a balloon and brought it near Aria’s face. Before Aria could comprehend his intentions, Louis squeezed the balloon and it popped, making Aria squeal in fear.

As Louis grabbed on to another one, Aria dashed for the door to which Louis let go of the balloon and grabbed her wrist. Pushing her back against the door, Louis struggled to keep Aria in place.

“Louis!” Aria exclaimed, between giggles. “Let go of me! I’ll kill you!”

“Not yet, poppet!” Louis said in gasps, between his own laughter. “You don’t get off that easily!”

When Louis saw no way to make Aria stop struggling, he did the first thing that came to his mind. He leaned into her and pressed his lips lightly against hers. It was enough to stop her from moving, giving Louis easier access to her lips. He slowly kissed her motionless lips, making sure not to scare her off. Just when he was about to give up from her lack of response, Aria wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him back.

Louis felt himself harden by her consent, and pulled her closer to his body. He plunged his tongue into her now open mouth, making her moan against his lips. The sound made him even more excited and just as he was about to make the kiss deeper, the moment was broken by a soft knock on the door.

“Aria, I brought you and Louis some tea.” The familiar voice of Beatrice Morgan came from behind the door. Aria jumped out of Louis’ embrace and fixed her t-shirt, which had ridden up, exposing her flat toned stomach. Louis couldn’t help but harden further, mentally cussing himself for losing control of his own libido. ‘Way to play it cool, bro!’ Louis thought to himself.

“Umm- Gimme a minute, Mom!”

Aria looked towards Louis to check if he was in proper condition before opening the door to her mother.

“There you two are! The scones are warm so you better eat them now.” Beatrice gushed, before noticing all the balloons in Aria’s room. Her eyes widened in shock as she exclaimed,

“What in heaven’s name happened here?”

Aria swung around to notice the balloons before turning back to her mother to explain.

“Umm- Mom! It’s a long story. I’ll explain it to you after Louis leaves.”

“Actually, I think I have to head home now, anyway.” Louis spoke to Aria, awkwardly. He turned to Beatrice and apologized. “Mrs. Morgan, I apologize but I’ll have to take a rain check on those delicious looking scones. Some other day maybe?”

“Oh! Of course, dear. Give your mom my regards.” Beatrice smiled warmly at Louis before letting him pass. He nodded his head and walked downstairs, with Aria in tow. She walked him to the door silently but just as he was about to walk out, Aria whispered.

“Louis, what was that? Back in the room?”

Louis turned around, biting down on his lips before replying.

“Something that I should have done a long time ago.”

Louis turned away and headed out, making Aria smile like a complete goof.
