Aria looked out of the window at the lights, as they illuminated the streets with a soft yellow glow. She had shrunk in her seat so much so that Harry couldn't feel her presence. She snuck a peek in his direction and her breath hitched.

He looked beautiful as the yellow lights fell on his head, highlighting some of the angles in his face. Aria felt as though the Greek Gods had sculpted his face with a lot of patience and time. He probably felt her gaze on him because he turned to look at her at that moment.

Aria blushed for getting caught and looked away quickly. She heard a soft chuckle and looked towards him cautiously to find a cute dimple appearing on his face as he focused back on the road.

"You know, I won't eat you up." Harry spoke, his raspy voice more prominent today. Aria could tell that he had had a few drinks at the party.

"Ok." Aria replied, not sure what to say. Her stomach was too busy being attacked by a bunch of fluttering butterflies. Harry was talking to her. Although he was acting like nothing had happened that morning.

"So, umm- how'd it go with Louis?" Harry tried to ask nonchalantly, his face serious now.
"How'd wh-what go?" Aria asked, frowning in confusion.

"Umm- How'd it go at the park? Did you guys have a good time?"

"I- I guess." Aria replied, confused as to how that concerned him. Maybe he didn't want Louis associating with Aria.

To be honest, after Louis had mentioned that Harry would drop her off, she hadn't been able to stay calm. At first, she had tried to convince Louis that she would be able to manage on her own. But when Louis had refused to budge, Aria had given up. They had taken a walk around the park, staying silent mostly. The little bit of conversation that they had had been pleasant. Louis was good company. And Aria had felt herself relax and open up to him.

But once Harry and the group had arrived, Aria had started feeling anxious once again. There had been three guys and two girls in the group. They had all left, along with Louis, in the range rover while Harry dropped her off with his car. So, here she was, being driven by Harry to her place, feeling like a nervous wreck.

Aria put her attention back on Harry and found him scowling. Why did he seem so upset? The silence was getting suffocating. She decided to lighten up the mood by making conversation.
"S-so, d-did you study for t-the q-quiz?" Aria slapped her fore head mentally. Seriously? Her crush was sitting right next to her and she was talking about quizzes? Way to go, Aria! Just pure genius!

"Uh- No." Harry replied, making a face. She could tell he was laughing at her in his head but was too nice to show it. He continued, "I'm not very good at Math. Did you?"

"Uh- Not really. I d-don't like Math either. I'll st-stay up the n-night and study for it th-though.” Aria finished, looking down at her lap. Was it her or was the space inside the car too small for the two of them?

"Good for you." Harry replied back with a smile. Aria could tell he was also trying his utmost to keep the conversation flowing. But there seemed to be a sort of awkwardness between the two of them. Maybe cause neither of them were acknowledging the incident that had happened in the morning.

The both of them remained quiet for the rest of the journey which suited Aria just fine. She didn't want to say or do anything stupid. Eventually, they reached her house, and Aria tried to block out the window with her body. She didn't want Harry to notice how small her house was.

"So..." Aria started, and bit down on her lip. She wasn't sure how to say goodbye cause she honestly didn’t want to leave. She tried to think of something nice to say. "I g-guess I'll s-see you t-tomorrow?"

Harry looked at her, eyes hooded and face solemn. Aria couldn't tell what he was thinking. The intensity in his eyes was back. Aria saw him slowly leaning towards her and closed her eyes, anticipating a kiss. Her breathing had become heavier.

However, she opened her eyes slowly when she felt a strand of her hair being tucked behind her ear. She stared into his striking, green eyes which looked even more beautiful close up. Aria couldn’t help her eyes from darting down towards his soft plump lips.

"Goodnight, love." He spoke in a whisper.

Aria felt disappointment wash over her as he dismissed her. She turned the shade of a beet root and felt like an idiot for being so obvious. Aria had literally begged him to kiss her with her expression.

She nodded her head and got out of the car. She walked towards her house and didn't look back even once, knowing full well that she'd feel even worse if she turned back and saw Harry's face.
