Harry’s POV
“Who knows what scale this is?” Ms. Carry asked.

Diana raised her hand…again. No one else did so Ms. Carry chose her.

“Diana.” She said smiling

“That is a G scale.” She said proudly.

“Correct as always Diana.” Ms. Carry said writing a G next to some hashtags. God, this is fucking confusing.

It was weird seeing Diana talk in class. She usually sat at the back and kept quiet, but in Music class she lit up. She beamed and looked happy. She actually became social.

*BRING*

Everyone got up except Diana. Why is she so fucking weird and nerdy. No wonder why I bully her. Wait what am I saying? Why do I enjoy bullying her? She’s done nothing but help me get girls. I mean when I started bullying her, my life got better. I guess if I stop my life might get worse. I really don’t want to risk that.

“Mr. Styles?” asked Ms. Carry

“Yeah?” I replied. By now everyone had gone except Diana.

“Can I speak to you in my office?” she asked pointing to the room at the back of the classroom.

“Yeah” I replied walking over.

I walked in and she closed the door and motioned for me to sit.

“Now, Harry. I hate to say this buy you’re failing my class.” She said looking at her notes.

“But I can sing.” I said kinda upset, since music was the only class that I actually studied for and failed.

“Yes, but singing isn’t everything in music. You need to learn your theory.” She said looking at me with compassion.

“I don’t get it. It’s not that you’re a bad teacher it’s just I don’t get it.” I said really upset.

“I know, I was the same as you. I hated theory yet when it came to singing I had a true passion for it.” She said smiling. This is why Ms. Carry was one of my favorite teachers.

“So what should I do?” I asked

“I’m giving you a tutor in theory. Every Friday from 4pm – 5pm” she said looking down at her notes.

“Who?” I asked

“One person who even knows theory better than me. Diana.” She said smiling.

“No.” I said sternly

“Harry, it’s either you get help from her or fail.” Ms. Carry said with a sad look on her face.

“I know Diana is smart at that kind of stuff bu-” I stopped when I heard someone playing the piano. I got up and opened the office door to see Diana. She was on the piano playing a beautiful song. Oh, how I wished I could play like that. When she played her eyes were closed, yet she hit all the right notes. It was like her and the piano were one. I don't know what came over me but I decided to get help from her. Something drew me to her all of a sudden.

“I’ll do it.” I replied turning to face Ms. Carry.

“Good to hear. Here is the address to her house. Now I must warn you, she was hesitant at first but I agreed to give her extra marks if she did this.” Ms. Carry said handing me a slip of paper.

“What’s this piano piece called?” I asked

“Ask her. She wrote it.” Ms. Carry said sitting back down.

“Does she do this every lunch?” I asked

“Most of the time. I don’t mind since it’s so beautiful.” Ms. Carry replied smiling.

“Sure is.” I replied, watching Diana play.
