Just Can't Let Her Go

Harry's POV

I slapped my hand down lazily on my alarm clock to stop its irritating beeping. I roll over and remember that my bed at college isn't as wide as mine at home, and slump sideways towards the ground. Jacob lets out a loud groan and throughs his pillow at me. He is just always angry at my alarm because he takes afternoon classes and doesn't have any reason to get up as early as I do.
After I finish getting ready, I sit on our couch to wait for Julianna. We always walk to school together now, and we have become really good friends. This is the last day I will see her before holiday break, and I want to do something special.
I hear a knock at the door, and open it to reveal Julie. She smiles, and hugs the oxygen out of me. "Harry! I'm so excited! Holiday Break is almost here, and I get to see Katie! But I'm going to miss you! You are a really great friend, and awe need to Skype all the time!" She practically screams at me. I hear Jacob from behind let out another groan, and get up to push me out and slam the door behind me.
Julie and I head to the South Wing, and chat the whole way there. I walk her to Bio, then head to history myself. The whole day goes by without any momentous events, and when the clock strikes 11:15 for lunch, I bolt out of my seat and gladly walk away from my last classes for the rest of 2013! I texted Julie that I was out, and she said that her acting class was running late and she would meet me at the café in half an hour. Good. That gives me twenty minutes to buy her a present and be there to give it to her.

I look at my watch and try to stop the nervous fidgeting of my leg. Should I give it to her? I mean, would she take it the wrong way and think I was trying to get in her pants or something? Would she stop being my friend because she though I was taking it too far???? I shouldn't do it. I put my head in my hands and stuff the box back in pocket, then pull it out again.
I hear the jangle of the bell above the door, and jolt my head up. The girl standing in the doorway isn't Julie, but her friend Claire. She sees me, and heads over to my table. She sits down next to me and rests her hand on my arm in a flirty way. I edge back, not wanting to draw any unnecessary attention to me or her.
" Harry! How have your classes gone this year? Mine have been going great!" She giggles dragging her fingertips up and down my biceps. I cringe, and say grittily," That's wonderful. My classes have been going great, but could you please go back to doing what you were going to do when you came here?" She looked hurt, and speaks up again in a more seductive way, "You know you want to be mine. Every boy does at this school. You just won't admit it." She places her thumb on my left cheek, and slowly slides it down my jaw. I scoff at her, and hear the bell again. I look up and it's Julie. I am about to call her name when Claire sees her too, and obviously trying to make Julie jealous, kisses me straight on the lips. She slops her lips onto mine and covers my face from Julianna's view. She bites my bottom lip and I push her face off of mine. I shove her off of the booth, and look at the doorway in time to see Julianna's hair flying backwards away from the building.

Julianna's POV

I don't even know why I am upset. Harry and I aren't together, and its shouldn't matter to me who he dates. But deep down, it hurts me because even though he is nice and he isn't my type, he still makes me happy, and I kinda like him. Almost "like" like him…Especially Claire. Of all the girls (or boys) that he could have kissed, it had to be Claire. I thought we were best friends. And she thought that we were a "thing". We aren't but she thinks we are because of all the times I say I'm going over to is dorm room. If she thinks we were together, why did she kiss him? Was it sabotage? To make me jealous?
I run straight into my dorm building and right up to the third floor. I fumble to get my keys out of my purse, when Matt opens his door down the hall. Of course! Just my luck. (note the sarcasm.) He looks me up and down like he always does, the bastard. He comes over and i fight to get the key in the lock, but he stops my hand, and throws the key down the hall. "What the hell!" I scream, and lunge for them but he grabs me by my waist and throws me over his shoulder. He shoves me into his room, and onto his bed. His room mate looks over at us, shrugs, and goes back to his phone. This must happen often in his room.
I whimper a little when he sticks his hand up my shirt, and pulls it over my head. I slap him across the face and he holds my hands above my head. He is just starting on my pants when there is a knock on the door. "Pizza Delivery!" The person behind the door says. Matt gets up, slams open the door and flies backwards onto the couch. I look at the door to see Harry. I grab my shirt, throw it on, and dash out the door. I grab Harry's arm, not wanting him to get hurt like last time and spiny to my keys, and into my room.
Harry and I both collapse with heavy breathing onto my floor. He reaches over and says, " That is the second time I have saved you from sexual abuse." He smirks at the end and looks at me. "What can I say?" I giggle," I'm irresistible!" I hug Harry and we lay on the floor for what seems like an our when Claire walks in, "Hey babe! What are you doing with Juls on the floor? You said we were going to be alone tonight, if you know what I mean…" I look over at Harry, confused and hurt, but his expression reads the same. Claire reaches down to help Harry up and kisses him on the lips again, flirting with her fingers. Oooooooooh, Claire, You are not going to see the light of tomorrow.
