Dancing In The Rain
Chapter two
"Okay guys...i guess i better go move into my dorm room." I say slowly. "Okay! we'll see you next summer!" Mum says happily waving. "Uh, okay then....I'M LEAVING NOW...IF anyone wants to say their finale goodbyes, before i go..." I say dramatically. "Dipstick," Carl mumbles so only i can hear. "Fine, I guess I'm leaving," I say walking out the door, holding my boxes and clothes. What a goodbye that was....
As I walk down the side walk to my 'new schoo//home' i see other kids doing the same thing. Yay, maybe I'm not the only exchange student here. I look around the neighborhood, it's pretty nice. It's very small, and old fashioned. There is an old church just up the street, and there is a barber shop to my right. The school is the last thing on the street, and that's where everyone was headed. I look up at the sky to see if it was going to rain, and i trip on a bump in the side walk. "WHOA!" I exclaim before i hit the ground. I feel everyone looking at me, and when i look up at them, they start laughing. "Ughhhh." I groan and get back up. This school is going to suck. Now everyone thinks I'm a klutz.

I use the key the principal gave me, to get into my dorm room. "Is anyone in here?" I ask as I walk in. Surely someone has to be my room-mate. "Eeeep!" a voice squeals from another room. "Uh..hello?" I ask, putting my boxes down on the floor. "Hey!" a girl comes running towards me embracing me with a hug. "Hey.." I say, patting her back. She is kinda weird..."Hi! my names's Shebly. You're that new exchange student aren't you?" She asks me pulling away from the hug. "That's me." I smile. "You know i was so excited that you where going to be my new room-mate, cos' the last one was really weird. She just wouldn't get off the computer." She explains to me. Wow, she ever stop walking? "Yeah...so where's my bed, cos' i just flew here and I'm kind of tired." I say, ingoring what she just said. "Oh!! it's right here, but i really must give you a tour of the whole place." She smiles. "Alright." I sigh, letting her drag me around the room. "This is the bathroom, tehre are two sinks, one for me, one for you," She says, as she shows me the bathroom Before I can say anything, she's already showing me the closet. "It's a walk in closet, and it's got enough room for you and me. OH! what size pants are you?" She askes me. "Uhhh like 5..." i answer. "MEE TOO!" she giggles. "We're like sisters!" I laugh, cos' she's starting to grow on me. She shows me the rest of the room, and by the time sh'es done she's officaly my best friend. "Okay, I'm tired, I'm gonna go to sleep" She says happily. "Okay, me too." I yawn. I got to my boxes and put them near my bed. Shelby and i put my bed together and then we change into pajamas.
I can't say I don't like it here.
