Please Be Careful With My Heart

Harry's POV:
'Morning' Liam greeted as I came down the stairs. 'There's breakfast in the kitchen Haz' Zayn informed me. The group gathered around the lounge eating while watching tv. 'Change the channel please, no one wants to watch spongebob' Louis groaned.

TV voice over: Rumour has it that our favourite couple, Harry and Samantha are walking down the isle together?

I started to walk backwards to listen to the tv.

TV voice over: But don't get too excited,as they will be.. but not as bride and groom. As we all know Zayn and Perrie are due to get married tomorrow. And Harry and Samantha have been chosen as the Best man and Maid of Honour. But were still keeping our fingers cross, who knows they could be heading in the same direction as Zayn and Perrie.

A wave of cough started to fill the room as everyone glanced over at me. I rolled my eyes at them and walked towards the kitchen.

'Hey' I greeted Sammie who was leaning on the bench top. 'Hey' she smiled back. 'So, tomorrow's the big day' I started to make conversation while pacing around the kitchen. 'Yup, 24 hours left. What do you guys have planned for tonight?' she asked. 'Where gonna take Zayn out to Mahiki' I replied grabbing my toast from the toaster. 'What about you girls?' I walked over next to her to use the jam. 'We've decided to have a Hen's night here in the house, since you guys will be out. Then Perrie, Jade, Jesy and Leigh Anne are gonna stay the night at Perrie's house' she replied spreading jam on her toast. I chuckled 'I forgot, the whole bride and groom can't see each other before the wedding day' I said and she laughed quietly.

I turned to face her and at the same time she turned to walk towards me. We were inches apart as I could feel her warm breath escape from her mouth. Our eyes were fixed on each other and I could see my reflection through her pupil.

'Haz, is there anymo-' Niall and Demi walked in the kitchen and Sammie pulled away immediately and headed out. 'Bad timing' Niall half embarrassed half amused.

Samantha's POV:
The lads promised Perrie that they wouldn't be out too late, as she was worried Zayn might stood her up at the altar for a hangover.

'Alright babe, I'll see you at the altar' Zayn kissed Perrie. 'Ohkay, ohkay that's enough'Louis pulling Zayn off. 'You won't see each other for 12 hours, but come on after that your gonna see each other everyday' Louis rolled his eyes.

'Alright, were out ladies. Have a great night' Liam called out. 'Don't get into too much mischief' Danielle called after him. 'And don't burn our house down either' Niall humorously replied.

'Partyyy' we all shouted as soon as the door shut. Demi pumped the music while Leigh Anne and Eleanor brought out all the liquor that was bought earlier.

'We're gonna get you smash tonight, Perrie' Jesy announced as she started handing her shots. 'Alright, alright, but I better be able to walk down the aisle tomorrow' Perrie smirked. 'Sammie, here you go' Jesy handing me a shot. 'No thanks, someone needs to take care off all you drunkos' I informed her. 'Chaperone, I like that' she nodded her head.

'I love this song!' Jade yelled and everyone got up and started to dance.

Harry's POV:
'Alrightie booys, drink up' Niall came to the table with beers and shoots. 'Here's to Zayn's last night as a bachelor' Niall raised a shot glass. 'Cheers' everyone raised their glass and scold the drink.

'Thanks lads, thanks for the support and everything' Zayn uttered. 'Naww were gonna miss you' Louis threw himself at Zayn pretending to cry. 'Louis man, it's not like were not gonna see each other ever again' Zayn tried to push Louis off. 'True that' Louis composed himself back in his seat.

'So, who do we reckon's gonna get married next' Liam asked. There was four pair of intense eyes glaring at me. 'Yeah, not gonna happen. As you can see Im girlfriend-less' I took a sip of my beer. 'I'm not so sure about that' Niall mumbled.

'Hi, your Harry Styles right' a brunette girl came over to our table. 'Hi, yes I am' I flashed a small smile. 'Umm, do you wanna dance' she asked very shyly. I looked at the lads for advise but they all avoided my gaze.

'Um, I'm sorry, but I'm here with the lads tonight' I carefully declined. 'Oh no problem then' she waved bye and took off. 'Girlfriend-less huh'Louis raised his eyebrows with a grin across his face. 'Harry, why don't you just ask Sammie where you guys stand' Zayn spoke to me. 'I don't know. I wanna get back with her, but I don't know if she's ready for that or yet alone if she even wants me back' I hanged my head low.

Samantha's POV:
'Sammie, where off to sleep. Perrie's gone home with the other girls' Eleanor, Danielle, Demi stood by the door. 'Alright girls, good night' I flash them a smile across from my bed.

I prepared everything I needed for tomorrow and prep myself for bed. It was nearly midninght and in exactly 12 hours Zayn and Perrie will be walking down the aisle. I smiled at the thought of marriage. It's such a big commitment, but it goes to show how much couples love one another. They vow to spend the rest of their life with that one person.

'Hey' a familiar voice came from the door. 'Hey, how was the club?' I asked Harry. He walked over to seat beside me. 'It was alright, we decided to go home before Niall could order any more drinks' I laughed at the Niall's high tolerance for alcohol.

'I heard that' Niall walked pass the door.'How was your night?' Harry asked turning to look at me. 'It was good, we heard cops around the neighbourhood. But they didn't come for us' I assured him. 'Ohkay' he laughed softly.We both tried to avoid each other's gaze and then silence fell upon the room.

'Oh by the way, I forgot to return your jacket' I got up and looked for it in the wardrobe. 'Here you go, thanks by the way' I sat back on the bed and handed him the jacket. Our hands touch and I felt an electric shock on my finger tip that dispersed throughout my body. I pulled my hand away and looked away.

'Sammie' he spoke softly. 'Where do we stand?' he asked with eyes fixed on me. 'Harry' I took a deep breath. 'I don't know' I struggled. 'A lot has happened between us. I've been strong enough to get through what happened but I just don't know if I'm ready again' I explained. 'Sammie, I'm still in love with you. I always have and always will' he took my hands and professed his love. I wanted to say the same thing to him, but I don't know if I was ready to, a part of me hasn't forgotten what his done and the other part of me, told me to give our love another chance.

I flashed him a smile in respond. It was the only thing I could do for now. 'I better let you get to sleep' he took a deep breath and started to walk to the door. I followed him to the door where he said 'Goodnight' before finally heading out.

'Harry' I grabbed his wrist and he turned back around. I went on my tippy toe and placed a kiss on his cheek, 'Goodnight' I smiled. 'Goodnight' he repeated this time with a smile across his face.
