Please Be Careful With My Heart

Samantha's POV:
I spent Christmas and New Year back in LA with my family. Everyone was so happy during the festive season and I didn't want to take that away from them by showing my broken hearted self.

So I decided to be merry with them.

2012 is gone and 2013 is now here. Approach the new year with a fresh beginning. You can't move on if you let your past drag you down.

So that's exactly what I did. Left all the pain and sorrow of 2012 behind and approached 2013 with optimism.

'Happy New Year Jules!' Zayn called out from the other side of the phone. I smiled to the sound of his voice. 'Happy New Year to you to'.

'Well, you know my birthday is coming up next Saturday. And Perrie is throwing me a party. I'll just be with a few friends at our bachelor pad. So you better be there' he asserted. 'Well then, it looks like ill be coming down to London next week then' I chuckled.

Harry's POV:

It's been more than 2 weeks since I left Barbados, 2 weeks since I last saw her, 2 weeks since I last spoke to her. I must be the biggest coward for running off just like that.

'Hey man' Zayn came out to the balcony. 'Hey' I bluntly replied. 'So, Jules is gonna be coming out here next Saturday for the party' he informed me. I didn't respond. 'Look Harry, If you just explain to her your reason, she'll understand. She's just really hurt because you took off without an explanation and 2 weeks has passed and you still haven't spoken to her' he reminded me of my cowardliness.

Samantha's POV:

'Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?' Anna asked as she helped me pack my luggaged for London. 'Anna, I'll be fine Zayn's gonna be there' I assured her. 'Well, so will Harry Styles' she scorned at the sound of his name.

'Honestly Sammie, if he comes anywhere near you again, you better call me up and I will come down and- ' I cut her off. 'Anna, I wont let him hurt me again' I convinced her as I stood in front of her.

'I just, I just....I should have been there for you. I should have made sure he didn't hurt you..... URGHHH! His such a tool ' she cried out before grabbing me in for a bear hug. 'Thanks Anna'.

I stepped out of the car and stood infront of a spacious bachelor pad. 'Come on, everyone's waiting for you' Zayn divulged as he grabbed my hand.

'Sammie!' I heard a familiar girl's voice. 'Perrie' words failed to come out of my mouth as she hugged me tightly. Everyone took their turn to give a welcome hug, except the boy with the green eyes.

'Hi' he shyly greeted as he stood 5 three metres away. 'Hi' I replied with a small smile.

There was an awkward silent and I just wanted someone to say something, anything.'Oh by the way, this is my girlfriend Eleanor' Louis gestured to the girl on his right. 'Nice to finally meet you' I gave her a kiss on the cheek. 'And this is Danielle, my girlfriend' Liam spoke. 'It's nice to meet you Samantha' as she came and gave me a kiss on the cheek. 'Sammie, please just call me Sammie' I re assured her.

It was 1:48 am. A normal person would normally be asleep, but no here I am outside dancing. It was something I always did when I there was no words to express how I was feeling. Dancing made me so free, free to control every movement and every step.

I took a small run before jumping up in the air to twirl, as soon as my right foot touched the ground I proceeded to for another twirl, only this time to have landed not on the ground, but in someone's arms.

Harry's POV:

I saw her dance freely under the moonlight.

She swayed her right arm and right leg across her body and did a little jump. She took a small run and did a twirl in the air. Every move precised, sharp, full of passion. Like each and every one of her movement told a story that only she knew of.



Unconscious of her direction, she headed towards where I stood as she twirled up in the air.

In her final twirl, I caught her by her waist before she could make her landing on the ground.

She quickly shuffled her eyes away from mine. I slowly placed her back on the ground.

'I didn't know you dance?' I asked. 'Well, it looks like there's a lot of stuff we don't know about each other then' she replied disbelief by my presence.I knew there was more to that... And that she was merely referring to me leaving her off in Barbados.

She slowly walked off.

'I left because I was scared of hurting you' I called out to her.'You're a bit late Harry, because you already hurt me.. and you hurt me bad' she turned to respond before running back in the house.

Samantha's POV:
As soon my eyes opened up the next morning, my mind drifted back to the last 12 hrs. I was really trying to move on but he wasn't making this any easier. After minutes of constant thinking, I shook of all the negative thoughts and sat up on my bed. 'It's a new day Sammie, think positive, act positive, smile more and cry less' I repeated to myself.

Suddenly, someone knocked on my door. 'Come in' I called out happily.

Positive attitude begins now!
