Please Be Careful With My Heart

Samantha's POV:

'Breakfast, breakfast' I heard Niall knock on every room. I turned to look at Harry who was still fast asleep. I unwrapped his arms around from my waist and slowly started to get up.

'Where you going?' he whined as he quickly took me back by the waist. 'Harry, its breakfast time' I replied. He opened up his eyes and demanded 'Where's my morning kiss?' I rolled my eyes before he started to move on top of me as he crashed his lips on to mine. They moved ferociously not allowing my lips to escape his.

'Harry, come on it's breakfast time' I repeated as he continued to kiss me. 'It's alright I wouldn't mind having you for breakfast' he argued. I chuckled and quickly got myself out of bed. You better behave yourself today Mister' I told. 'I'm always behaved' he said with a grin.

'Morning!' everyone cheerfully greeted in unison as they saw us descend down the stairs. As we took the empty seat between Niall and Liam everyone tried to look anywhere but meet eye contact with us. Harry and I exchanged a glance out of confusion.

'Here you go children, your breakfast...' Louis coming from behind and placing two plates of waffles covered with chocolate and cream, topped with fresh banana and strawberry.

'..served Extra sweet' he emphasised on the 'EXTRA' as he dropped a newspaper in front of us as well. Everyone laughed which left us confused.

Harry took the newspaper and my eyes widened. 'Love is definitely UP in the air' the title screamed at me with a photo dominating the whole front page.


It was a photo of Harry and I on the Ferris wheel as we shared our first kiss.'Wow, that guy looks a lot like me... and that girl looks a lot like my beautiful girlfriend' he turned to smile at me. His comment caused a wave of laughter.

After breakfast we took a stroll down by the beach. Our fingers intertwined as we walked and it feel nice as it made me feel stronger that someone was holding me...keeping me from falling through the challenges of life.

Harry's POV:

How did I end up with someone so amazing like her, I thought as I turned to her. 'You're a very brave person you know' I told her. 'After what happened with Nate, you've still managed to stand up and not give in to defeat'.

'I couldn't have done it without my family and Zayn' they stucked by me through the end. 'I just don't know what I would do, if someone hurt me like that again. I don't think I would be able to stand up again' she explained.

Her words left marks in my heart. I was scared that I would end up hurting her.

'Despite the difficulties of yesterday, a new day will always eclipse the old because inevitably nothing stays melting forever' she vowed.

I didn't know how she was able to talk with so much confidence and optimism after all she endured.

'Well, I hope the worlds perception of me soon changes' I blurted. 'You just gotta show them the side of you, that I've seen all week' she suggested.

'Just remember, it is possible to live amidst the conflicting demands that characterise our lives' she claimed. 'You just gotta hang in there' she concluded.

A girl who was left broken hearted, came out stronger than she was before. She picked up the pieces and build a woman that seemed unbreakable.

I was scared of the damaged I could cause her new found stability and serenity.

Was I ready to love her without any mistakes that could soil her pure heart?

Now I wasn't so sure.

It was 1am and Sammie was fast asleep around my arms. I knew it was gonna hurt her, but it would be for the best. I didn't want her to regret later down the track that she choose to be with me and my reckless life.

I placed one last kiss on her head and slowly headed out the door.
