Rachel My mum had to go to work and knowing her, she'd probably be gone for a long time. I misseed not having my parents here and since I was an only child I did get lonely a lot, but it's ok because I have Liv and Allie. I stormed into my room and slammed the door closed. I can't believe my mum would actually agree to have One Direction stay here when she knows I hate them.

Livi always says, give them a chance, come on, they're good guys! But honestly I don't see it. All I see is five guys who think they're better than everyone else and don't care about a thing in the world besides money. They probably don't even care about music like some people in this world do. I looked at my guitar and smiled. I grabbed my journal with all my songs in it and then grabbed my guitar before sneaking out back.

I walked across the patio and followed the small stone path. I made this path when I was little towards a small pond. I remember when I was five I accidently wandered into the woods and found this small pond. It was so pretty and it glistened in the sunlight. I remember sitting out there for hours and just looking at the nature around me. The tree surrounded the pond in a small circle and birds chirped and sang while crickets chirped as well. It just calmed me.

I builed a stone path towards it so I could remember where to go, but after all of the years I remembered the path by heart. I knew all of the twists and turns and I knew exactly how long it took to get to the pond. Exactly two minutes.

I finally reached the pond and smiled as I sat near the edge of it. I loved to come here. especially when it rained. I didn't care if I got wet, I sang and wrote teh best songs when it rained.

I pulled out my song book and started playing on my guiatar. I was singing softy and I swear I thought I heard the birds singing along. I stopped when I saw a duck walk out from the bushes. I caught my breath as four little ducklings followed their mother into the water. I smiled. This was one of the thousans of reason why I loved this pond.

I sat out under a tree right near the shore of the pond and continued to play my guitar. I made up at least three songs out there and I didn't even realize it got dark out by the time I finished. I also resented leaving the pond. I once asked my mum if i could sleep out there. When you're out there you can see the stars perfectly becasue they aren't drained out by the bearby city lights.

I glanced up and saw the sun starting to set. The shadow of the moon was slowly coming out and the first was visible. I smiled and grabbed my guitar and book before heading home. My mum was the only one who knew about the pond. Liv and Allie don't even know about it and certaintly the boys wouldn't figure it out.

I walked into the house from the back door. I walked into the living room and saw the boys, Allie, and Livi sitting on the couch laughing and eating pizza. They all became silent when they saw me.

"Hey Kate!" Allie said breaking the silence. I gaver her a look and turned back to the boys. "If I find one stain on these couches, you're dead," I said sternly. Normally I'm never this mean, but if I had to share my house with these five idiots then I was going to make sure they didn't tear it apart. They all nodded quickly and I swear Niall and Louis looked scared. I grinned in triumph and headed upstairs. ************************** As I was sitting in my room thinking about the events that happened today, I felt a little bad, Ok so I was a little harsh on the boys, but hey they haven't given me a reason to like them. They also haven't give me a reason to not like them but whatever!

There was a soft knock at the door. Allie and Livi walked in. "Wer're gonna spend the night ok? I nodded.

"Kate, you have to lighten up on the boys, come on," Allie said I shooked my head and frowned. "No way, I've already made it very clear that I don't like them and I'm going to back down and make myself look like an idiot," I said.

"Harry's your cousin though!" Olivia said. I frowned. "So what?" i said. So what if he is my cousin? It's not like we grew up together.

"I honestly don't care if he's my cousin, he's a player who uses girls for their bodies, that disgusting in my book so I'm disgusted by him," I said. "Why do you think he's a player?" Allie asked. this time she looked genuinally annoyed. "Because the media is all over him and every other week he has a new girlfriend," I said lying on my back. I had made my point.

"He's single," Allie said. "My point exactly, he dumps girls in the matter of two days," I said "maybe not ever two days, maybe two hours," I said.

"You are unbelievable," Allie muttered. "Well you're just protecting him because he's your "future husband" news flash Allison, he's freakin famous it's not going to happen!" I said. Tears built up in Allisons eyes and I instaly regreetted saying that. Allison is extremely sensitive and even the smallest insults get her upset.

"Allie I'm sorry" I said, but she already ran out of the room. Olivia glared at me.

"You know, you are unbelievable, your judging the boys before you even knew them. We just spent three hours with them and they are the nicest guys anyone could ever meet, just take a minute and get to know them!" she said before following Allie out of the room. I groaned and fell onto my back.

"Ugh!" I said annoyed.
