"Now girls please settle down, yes Niall and Liam are famous, but you have to treat them like your regualr classmates," my teach Mr. Conely said. "But Mr. Conely! Their from One Direction as in the major British-Irish boy band as in the One Direction." one girl, chelsea said.

"We are actually hopeing that we wouldn't get that much attention today." Liam said scratching the back of his neck. "You see girls, they want a normal day at school," Mr. Conley said. The girls all groaned. "Um Mr. Conely, just to get the girls through homeroom maybe they could take on quick pic with the boys?" I suggested.

"YES PLEASE!" all of the girls said in the room. All of the guys groaned. Niall and Liam chuckled. "Um ok, if it's ok with them." Mr. Conley said. Instead of doing indvidual picture the girls all took a group picture with Niall and Liam. I stood on the side. Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see Zach, a friend of mine.

"Hey Zach," I said. "I thought you hated them." he said frowning at me. I sat in my seat next to him. "I did, until I found out that Harry's my cousin," I said. Zach's mouth dropped almost to the floor. "You're kidding right?" he asked. I shook my head.

"Afraid not, the boys are staying with me while Louis has to help their management with stuff, the other four get to come here," I said with fake happiness. Zach just chuckled. "We have major competition now," he muttered, Aaron another friend of mine, ran over and sat next to us. "You're telling me," He said. "You heard me?'" Zach asked him. Aaron nodded.

I chuckled. "What are you guys talking about?" I asked.

"Well you see, now that the boys are here, all of the girls, expect for you of course, are going to be all over them, it's gonna be hard to get a girlfriend," Aaron said. I just rolled my eyes. "Trust me the boys are only going to be here for alittle while, but the problem is they want to be normal. I tried to tell them that that's not going to work, but they're just to stubborn to believe that they're world famous pop stars," I said.

Niall and Liam sat awkwardly in the back corner just looking around. They probably haven't been in school in forever. Niall caught my eye. I motioned for them to come over.

"Kate what are you doing?" Aaron asked. "Inviting them over here," I said. "No!" Zach said. I frowned "And why not?" I demanded. "Cause uh, it's gonna be awkward." Aaron said. I rolled my eyes. "Do you eve like them?" Zach whispered to me. I ignored him because Niall and Liam had reached us.

"Hey guys," I said. THey nodded slighty at me.

"This is Zach and Aaron, Zach and Aaron this is Niall and Liam," I said. Zach nad Aaron nodded "We know," They both said. Niall and Liam sat down. Niall sat behind me and Liam next to me. Aaron sat in front of me and Zach sat on the other side of me. I was surrounded by Idiots.

"Uh oh," I muttered. Luke walked in. He is my all time enemy. "Well that's probably because he's my ex. "Niall," I whispered. Niall looked at me. "Get up." I hissed. "What? Why?" he said. "Get up," I hissed. But it was too late Luke had reached us. "What do you think you're doing in my seat?!" Luke said. Luke's caption of the basketball team and he's the quarterback on the footbal team.

Niall stood up. "Sorry," he muttered. Luke pushed him and Niall fell on the floor. I was about to say something, but Liam beat me to it. He stood up and glared at Luke.

"Who do you think you are?" he demanded. Luke laughed in his face "and who do you think you are?" Luke said. "I think I'm his friend and you can't just go around pushing people around, he got up alright?" Liam said. Luke chuckled "Look at this wannabe, stickup for his douch of a friend," Luke said. His goons behind him all laughed.

"hey come on man, leave em alone," Aaron said. Luke looked at him. They're brothers by the way But they're totally different.

Aaron - sweet and funny
Luke - jerk and obnoxious
Aaron - caring
Luke - a douche who doesn't care about anyone but himself.

I rest my case.
I stood up and helped Niall up. Luke looked at me. You see we kind of had a neutral breakup. We both wanted to break up. But a few months ago he tried to get back together with me, but I turned him down.

"Kate." He said. I glared at Luke. His blue softened when he looked at me, but I turned away. I grabbed Liam's hand and pulled him and Niall to the seats in the back.

"Don't waste your time with him." I said to them. "He pushed Niall down!" Liam protested. "Shh," I said. "Now come on we haev to get to class," I said when the bell rang.

Here was my scheduale and the people in it.

Math - with Harry
English - with Niall and Zayn and Olivia
Biology - With Liam and Niall
History - with Harry and Zayn and Allison
Music - with all of the boys and Allison and Liv
Study - with Zayn, Liam, Harry and Allison
Lunch
Tech Ed - with Niall and Olivia
Drama - with Harry and Liam
and PE - with all of them

During PE I was nervous. Luke was there and the teachers never paid attention to us.

The teachers would just sit on the side reading magazines or something. Occasionally they'd tell us to do stuff but most of the time we just played either basketball, soccer, volleyball, or football and sometimes they'd make us run sprints. Today I knew we were doing basketball and I knew that Luke and Niall didn't like each other already and now I knew Luke was going to really beat Niall up since no one pays attention.

I kept near the boys and Allison and Liv all during PE. Liam, Zayne, and Allison and Olivia went to play their own game of basketball while I talked with Harry and Niall. We made small talk. I wasn't sure if we were friends or aquantinces.

Then i saw Luke and his goons walk over. Luke had a basketball tucked under his arm.

"Well looked who it is," he sneered. "Luke just leave us alone." I snapped. Luke frowned. "Now why would I do that?" he said with a taunting tone. "Sweetheart I still have some unfinished business between and me this pussy," he said pointing to Niall. "You did not just call me sweetheart," I said. Luke ingored me and walked up to Niall.

"How about a little one on one?" Luke said. Niall glanced at me.

"No, we have to go," Harry said stepping in. Luke looked at Harry. "I think you can wait a bit." he said gritting his teeth. Harry frowned. "I think you can leave us alone," He said "We're not here to cause trouble," "But I am," Luke said.

"Luke," I said. Luke turned to look at me. "Go," I said. He frowned. "Face it babe, we all know you want me here," He said walking up to me. I pushed him away disgusted with him.

"You wish," I said. I took Niall and Harry's hand and led them away.

"Sorry about him," I told them. "Did you guys have something going on?" Harry asked. I scoffed "We used to, but he started acting like a jerk so I dumped him," I said. "You'd never believe it, but when we started going out he was sweet and funny and smart and now he's just a douche," I said. Harry and Niall chuckeld.

"I don't know why he hates me so much, all i did was sit in his seat, "Niall said. "Don't worry about it, he's just jealous you guys are all successful and stuff," I said. Harry and Niall smiled.

After gym, I told the guys I'd meet them out front of the school to walk home. I was putting my gym clothes away in my locker when someone spun me around and started kissing me. Luke.

I pushed him off of me. "Get away from me!" I said. "No," he growled and went to kiss me again. I pushed him away as hard as I could.

"I miss you," he said before pushing me back against the locker.

"Get away from me ass hole," i said. His grip was too strong and I felt his nials digging into my wrists. "Please Kate, I love you," He said. "No you don't!" I shouted. I didn't love him and I knew he was totally lying.

Suddenly he doubled over in pain. I looked up and saw Niall standing in front of me.

"she said to get away," Niall said. Luke stood up and punched Niall in the nose. Niall staggered for a second before punching Luke back harder in the cheek. Luke spun around and his his head on a lock. "Ass hole!" Luke shouted. Niall took my hand and led me away.

"Thank you Niall," I said as we walked towards the excit of the hallway. Niall was still clutching his nose.

"No problem," he said. "That's what friends are for right?" he said. He called us friends. Maybe we were.

I smiled. "Right"

We were friends.
