Chapter 27
Zayn POV:
"Its time to get up babe." I said at a sleeping Sydney. She was lying face up and her eyes were closed as I watched her stomach move up and down in an almost peaceful way. Her light purple t-shirt was up just above her stomach and her black shorts were riding up high on her tanned legs. Her dark brown hair that was normally perfectly combed was wild and tangled. She had no make up on for once and looked even more beautiful then usual.
"Ugh." She groaned and rolled over.
She was sleeping here, at my flat along with Liam, Alana, Niall, Harry, and Victoria. Jana and Louis had declined, they were having their own sleepover.
I sighed and collapsed onto my light yellow bed with the fluffiest pillows in the world.
"Zayn?" She mumbled into the comforter.
"Yah?" I whispered back. Niall, Victoria, and Harry were still asleep. Liam and Alana had gotten up a while ago and who knows where they went and are now.
"I'm tired." Sydney mumbled to me, turning to face me.
"So am I, Syd but we have to get up or else we won't get breakfast. Now come on!"
"WHAT ABOUT BREAKFAST?!" I heard a loud Irish yell.
"Great..." I muttered sarcastically.
"It'll be okay Zayn. We'll just go out for lunch alone."
"Fine..." I said, laughing at the sight I was seeing. An almost naked Niall stumbled out of bed, in just his 'Cookie Monster' boxers. He was bleary eyed but clearly hungry.
"Whens breakfast?" He asked while rubbing his eyes.
"In a couple hours." I said, smirking, I couldn't wait for his reaction to this comment.
"But I'm hungry..."
"Oh well. Suck it up." I said winking.
"That wasn't very nice Zayn." Sydney scolded me.
"Fine. I'm sorryyyy." I said dragging out the y.
"I'm going back to bed. Wake me up when the food is ready." Niall mumbled and crawled back into bed.
"Sorry." I said, shrugging.
"Its fine! He's like Victoria."
"No wonder they get along so well."
"Yah." Sydney laughed. We chatted a while longer finally agreeing an hour later to wake the others up.
"WAKIE WAKIE!" I yelled in Harry's ear.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Harry screamed, shooting out of the light purple bed.
"ZAYN!" He narrowed his eyes at me.
"Heehee." I giggled and moved towards Sleeping Beauty's Niall and Victoria.
"It's breakfast time..." I whispered into Niall's ear.
"FOOD!" Niall jumped 5 feet into the air, literally.
"HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT WHAT IS FUCKING WRONG SAVE MY MOTHER!" Victoria screamed.
"WHATS GOING ON UP HERE!?" Liam screamed, appearing in the doorway with Alana
standing behind him, holding tons of bags from places like Forever 21, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch, Urban Planet and more.
"Hello!" Sydney waved. Alana raised an eyebrow and studied the scene around the room. I was seated on Sydney and I's bed, Sydney was standing in the middle of the room, Victoria was seated on Niall and hers bed with a worried look on her face, Harry was pacing back and worth and Niall was screaming "FOOD" over and over again.
"Okay... I'm just going to put my bags down in the guest room I guess and leave you guys to it...?" Alana said while walking with Liam down the hallway.
"BYE!!!!!" Sydney yelled.
"OKAY Y'ALL BREAKFAST IS IN 15 MINUTES SO GET YOUR FUCKING BUTTS DOWN TO THE MOTHERFUCKING TABLE BY THEN OR ELSE." I heard Victoria yell from behind.
"Yes woman in command." Sydney joked.
"What's for breakfast princess?" Niall said, wrapping his arms around Victoria from the back, rocking back and forth.
"It's a surprise honey." Victoria smiled up at him, her eyes twinkling against the sun shining through the window to her right.
"AWW." Harry said sarcastically.
"Shut up goofball." Victoria teased and went back to Niall.
"I thought we were supposed to get dressed." Niall teased, bopping her nose.
"Fine." Victoria said fake-angry.
"Aw come on. I'll cuddle later." Niall pouted.
"Okay. Pinkie promise?" Victoria smiled.
"Okay." They made a deal and walked back to where they'd stored their clothes.
"I'm done!" I heard Niall call out. He was wearing a Crazy Mofo shirt, a pair of jeans, his white high-tops and his hair was brown for once.
"You look too cute!" Victoria smiled.
"So do you." Niall winked.
"Aw thanks." Victoria said. Everyone was dressed now and I looked at what they were wearing; the girls: http://www.polyvore.com/sleepover/collection?id=3171468 and I was wearing a leather jacket, black jeans, black sneakers and my Cool Kids Don't Dance shirt.
"What's for breakfast?" Victoria asked.
"It's a surprise." Sydney replied before rushing downstairs.
"RUN!!!" Niall yelled and he and Victoria ran downstairs to the kitchen, probably even got there before Sydney had gotten the food out.
"Those two..." Harry trailed off, laughing.
"Are food-and-sleep-loving maniacs." Sydney finished his sentence.
"You are so right." I laughed.
"What is for breakfast...?" Sydney asked.
"I heard Zayn mumbling something about fruit and Eggo's..." I answered.
"OH FUCK! That's Victoria's-" "And Niall's!" "Favorite breakfast!" Sydney and Harry yelled.
"Oh shit. We better run then!" I laughed.
We scrambled down the stairs to the kitchen where the two of them were already eating and according to Sydney they were on their second plates by now.
"They sure eat fast." I say.
"No way, Sherlock." Jana walked in and laughed. She didn't look happy though, she has tears scattered across her face and her mascara was running.
“Vutz Vrung?" Victoria attempted to ask while eating her Eggo.
"Can I talk to Syd, Alana, and you alone?" Jana asked quietly.
"HEY! You don't trust us boys!" Niall said, in between bites, jokingly.
"Humph." Niall grunted before going back to his waffle.
"Okay... We'll leave." Harry said, pulling Niall and Zayn upstairs.
"My food!" Niall whined.
"Oh shut up. You don't need it." I snapped.
"Humph. I'll just see how you feel without your hair products." He snapped back.
"Shut up you two." Harry snapped back at both of us.
"Fine." I grunted as we walked into the guest room.
"Liam stay here, Alana, Jana and the girls want to talk to you." Niall said.
"Oh okay.” Alana said. She left the room and soon it was just us.
"Wellll......." Liam said.
Jana POV:
"Thanks for coming." I said softly as we sat in the living room.
"No problem. Now what's up?" Rachel asked.
"It's just... Emma showed up last night." I sighed.
"Oh my god. That girl had the nerve to do that!?" Victoria yelled.
"Yah... Luckily Louis stood up to her." I smiled weakly.
"Aw darling I'm so sorry!" Alana sympathized.
"Heehee. But yah, that's what's gotten me down. I mean other than Lou just leaving this morning out of the blue." I sighed.
"Oh okay." Sydney said softly.
Thanks for being the best friends in the world." I smiled, "But I better go now."
"Okay! Byeeeeeee!!" They all said.
I walked outside to my SUV and hopped inside, driving home in the cold and dark morning of December 10th.
I thought about what had happened in my life on the way home. The Reaping was so long ago now, August which was now 3 months ago. The Games had started in August too and had finished at the very beginning of December, a short 8 days ago. Just over a week ago the party had happened. I sighed remembering what had happened the next day and instead concentrated on what was going to happen when I got home to Lou... If he was there
Niall POV:
Jana had left and the girls were a bit serious but were still their wild and crazy selves. Everyone was scattered around the house right now; Liam, Zayn and Sydney were watching Frosty The Snowman in the lounge, Victoria and Alana were making dinner, Harry was in the garden and I was in the hallway, just coming out from the loo.
Suddenly the bell rang. I heard someone run to get it, probably Zayn. What I heard next I would never forget.
"Where's Harry I need to tell him about our engagement."
Lucy.
