The Way It Was
Chapter 7 <3
Maddy's POV
Wow. Harry really wants to do this. After he asked me where we should continue, he started kissing me. I wanted to tell him, but I didn't want to pull back. So instead, I grabbed his hand and (carefully because I didn't want to trip over any of the boxes) led him up to, what I hoped, was my room. He probably, no definitely, has done this before. As soon as I led him into the room, he laid me down on the bed. I really hope he wasn't trying to have sex with me. I want to, but I don't think I'm ready quite yet. I mean, we only met this morning! And, I'm a virgin. I'm scared. I quickly pulled back without thinking about it, and said, "So! Do you want to finish the movie? It's totally fine with me if you want to! I mean, I kind of want to! Do you?" He looked at me, confused.
Harry's POV
Wait, did she just ask me to stop? I thought she wanted to "continue what we were doing". Why is it now that she wants to stop? I didn't want to feel forceful, I mean, we only met this morning, so I can kind of see why she has "doubts". But, all I said was, "Uh sure if you want to." As soon as I said that, I saw the relief flood through her whole body.
"Okay! Do you want to go back to your house to finish Love Actually?" Back to my house? Why not stay here and enjoy the time we have alone? Oh well. I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.
"Okay. Sure." She hopped right out of the bed, and pulled me by the arm, down the stairs, and out the door. Before she could go any closer to her house, without thinking, I stopped her from moving, stared into her beautiful eyes, and asked,
"Why did you want to stop? I thought you wanted to keep doing that. At least, that's what I got from when you told me, "It's just that... I was having so much fun "watching the movie". What changed?
Maddy's POV
Oh. I should've known that he would ask why I wanted to stop so suddenly. What am I supposed to tell him? "I just... I liked just liked making out that like. I didn't really mean I wanted to have sex with you. At least, not yet." Eh. That sounded believable.
"Are you sure it's not because you're a virgin?" He looked at me, straight in the eyes. How did he know that?
"How... How did you know I'm a virgin?" He chuckled.
"I have been with so many girls that do exactly what you did. As soon as they think things are getting too serious, they stop and quickly change the subject." Oh. Well that made more sense then him being able to read my mind like Edward from The Twilight Saga.
"Oh. Look, I'm sorry."
"Why do you need to apologize?"
"I don't know..." He looked hurt that I tried to apologize to him.
"I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do, Maddy. Don't ever think you are forced to do anything by me. If you don't ever want to do something, tell me!" Wow. He was being real serious about this. Well,
"Okay," I told him, "Now, how about we finish that movie"
