I rolled over and my eyes fluttered open. Once my vision cleared, I saw the most beautiful girl ever. She looked like such an angel while sleeping. Her brown hair curls towards the ends and frames her face perfectly. The sunlight shone from the window crossing her face and highlighting her freckles that reach across her cheeks and over her nose. I pushed some hair away from her face and gently tucked it behind her ear. I could hear her heart beating softly. It had a slow rhythm. Boom, boom boom. Boom, boom boom. I smiled and leaned over to kiss her forehead. I got out of bed and pulled the blankets up to her and tucked her in. I grabbed a pair of my sweats and slipped them over my boxers. I walked out of the room silently shutting the door behind me. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed my cellphone. I called Zayn. It took a few rings before he answered, "Hello?" "Oi, hey mate. You wanna have lunch with me tomorrow? I uhm have some things I wanna talk to you about," I said. I wanted to get his advice on if I should ask Allissa to be my girlfriend officially. We've been best friends since she moved next door when I was 14. I first started falling in love with her when she walked over to my house the day she moved. I remember everything perfectly. ***************************FLASHBACK******************************I was kicking the football around in the street when I accidentally kicked it over towards her. "Hey, can you hand me that," I asked her. She looked up at me and grabbed the ball with her hands. She walked over to me, "Hi I'm Allissa." I looked at her smiling at me. I reached for the ball saying, "Hi. My names Niall." She pulled the ball out of my reach holding it in one hand. "Nice to meet you," she said while putting her othe hand out for me to shake. "Look can you just give me the football," I said getting annoyed. She smiled. "No problem. On one condition." I groaned. "What," I hissed at her. "Let me play. Boy v.s. Girl," she said while smiling. I started to laugh. And she frowned. "What," she asked impatiently. "It's just... Hahaha. Your a girl. A GIRL! haha.. You're to fragile to play against a guy. Plus there's no way you could beat me," I said while continuing to laugh my ass off. She glared at me for a moment then said, "I bet that I'd win 11 to 0." I looked at her for a minute and realized she was serious. She smiled after I stopped laughing. I had to admit she was kinda cute. "How much money you wanna bet," she asked. "Hmmm. No money. Just a kiss," I said smirking at her. She shrugged and said, "Sure why not? You won't win anyways. If you win you get a kiss. If I win you have to tell all your friends over there," she pointed to my friends that were playing basketball, "That girls play better at football than guys." I laughed," Ehh. Okay. Just be prepared to have the best kiss if your life." She looked at me and rolled her eyes, "You're quite full of yourself, aren't you?" She dropped the ball and set a foot on top of it. We both got into our positions. She took off kicking it in the direction of the goal. I tried to steal, but she faked left and went around me then scored her first goal. We played for an hour and a half and by then she had five points and I didn't have any. Once she started running the ball down towards the her goal when I stole the ball. I took off in the other direction, but turned back around because Allissa had fell over. I ran back over to Allissa. She was hugging her knee to her chest and kinda whimpering. I started freaking out. Did I do that to her? I knew I shouldn't of played against a girl. I hurt her, but it was an accident. What am I supposed to do? "OH MY GOD! Allissa, are you okay? I'm so sorry!! I didn't mean to, I SWEAR," I said while getting down on my knees tryin to make sure she was okay. In one swift movement Allissa was back on her feet and taking the ball to the goal. She kicked and scored her sixth point. I was shocked. "But... I thought.." I didn't know what to say. I ha no idea she was capable of that. She just stood there smiling with her hands on her hips. Right then her mom called from her house, "Lissa! Time to come in!" "Alright mom," she yelled back to her mom. Then she walked over to me and kissed my cheek then said, "Gotta go. We'll finish playing tomorrow. Oh and you should stay out here for a little longer...... To practice." She walked back to her house and went inside, but before she closed the door she winked at me. I couldn't help but smile I spent that entire night outside practicing for the next day. *************************END OF FLASHBACK********************* I was so nervous about asking Allissa to be my official girlfriend. What if she says no? It could ruin our entire friendship! I love Allissa too much to let that happen. I guess there's only one way to find out what would happen. And that's to try.
