Trust Issues
Very confused
Olivia's POV:
A weird sensation overcame my body. I was hot and tingly inside. I can't believe Chase just kissed me on the cheek! He definitely has feelings for me. He held my chin with such gentleness, like he was going to break me if he wasn't gentle. I took a deep breath. I wasn't scared at the fact that he kissed me, I was scared because I was starting to develop feelings for him. And I couldn't do that to Harry, especially knowing how that felt. I avoided Chase for awhile. He would text me sometimes but I wouldnt text him back. I would lie and say I was busy when he asked me if I could go out with him. I was confused, I couldn't be around him.
Chase's POV:
I wondered when I kissed Olivia, did that scare her away. She's hasn't replied to my texts and every time I try to hang out with her, she turns me down. There was no doubt that I had feelings for Olivia, what man wouldn't. She was gorgeous. I regret cheating on her. I wonder if I hadn't, would we still be together.
Olivia's POV:
For some reason, I felt bad for turning down Chase. Maybe that kiss on the cheek was just a friendly kiss, friends give each other kisses on the cheek, right? One day he called and asked me if I wanted to go to the mall to help him pick out a tux for his friend's wedding. Feeling bad that I denied him a hundred times, I said yes. I loved the mall and I loved shopping, so I thought why not! He picked me up and we drove to the mall. The ride to the mall was unbearable. He didn't talk to me, I would sometimes feel his eyes slide over to me, looking at me from the corner of his eye. I played on my phone, pretending I didn't notice. You could literally smell the awkwardness!
We finally got to the mall and like always, he opened the door for me. While we were walking towards the door, our hands slightly brushed together. I freaked out, but not enough for him to notice. I jerked my hand back and moved slightly away from him. My breathing got a little loud.
Chase's POV:
As Olivia and I were walking towards the mall, her hand touched mine. I bit my lip. I was hoping she wouldn't freak out on me. She seemed tense today, always keeping her guard up. I held the door opened for her and her mood suddenly changed. She ran up to this tux and seemed excited.
"Try this one one on." She said.
"Ok." I said shocked.
Olivia's POV:
I loosed up. I was good at shopping, so I was going to put my skill to good use. Try this one on, I told him. He expression changed, he looked shocked. Just a minute ago, I was very quite and paranoid of every little thing he did. Now, I was this girl that was excited and bursting with energy. He called one of the workers over and asked for his size. The worker showed us the dressing room. I waited outside. Two minutes later, he opened the door. A beautiful god walked out. My eyes scanned up and down his body. He looked... amazing.
"Hey, can you help my put this tie on?" He said.
"Uh... sure." I said.
I came closer and looked up on his beautiful blue eyes. I fixed my eyes on his neck. I looped the tie and knotted it.
"There you go." I said.
"Thanks." He said smiling cutely.
"What do you think?" He said.
" I think you look very handsome." I said blushing and smiling.
"Thanks." He said looking straight into my eyes.
"Well, I better get changed." He said.
"Yup." I said.
God! He looked so good. His body made the suit look good. He tall and muscular body and the suit made a perfect pair. He walked out in his regular clothes, interrupting my thoughts.
"Thanks for helping me. You have great fashion sense. If you weren't here, I'd probably pick something out like that." He said pointing to this ugly olive green suit.
We both laughed.
"You"re very welcome." I said smiling to myself.
While eating at a Chinese restaurant, the whole time we laughed. Things were better now. I don't know why I was so tense before. He didn't flirt with me or make me feel uncomfortable.
"You have a pretty smile." He said looking at my lips.
Oh god. Why did he have to ruin it? Everything was fine! Not that I didn't like the compliment. He just gave me butterflies in my stomach.
"Thanks." I said blushing, looking down.
My phone lit up. It was Harry calling.
"My... best friend is calling. Do you mind if I take this?" I said.
"Not at all. Take your time." He said smiling.
I got up and walked to the exit. I opened up my phone and heard Harry's beautiful voice.
"Hey love. I miss you so much. It's driving me crazy." He said.
"Hey Harry. I miss you too. I can't wait until you come back home." I said actually sad.
I suddenly forgot all about Chase. Harry was the only guy I wanted in my life. He was my everything. I ended up not telling him I was with Chase, I knew it would anger him.
"Bye. I love you." I said with watery eyes.
"Love you too." He said hanging up.
I let a tear slip out my right eye. Harry's voice was enough to make me cry. Why is when I'm with Chase, I get butterflies and forget about Harry, but then, when I talk to Harry, I suddenly miss him all over again and start crying? I wiped any evidence of my crying and went back inside.
