Harry’s POV:
Never ever did I think I would be lying on the ground trying to apply pressure on my enemy’s wounds. Quinton was bleeding out, out fast. Two bullet wounds lodged into his back.
“Dude you have to stay still!” I screamed at him.
“Who the fuck was that?” He asked me; I could hear him barely getting the words out.
“I don’t know! I should be asking you that!”
I stopped applying pressure and dialed 911 on my phone. They asked me what my emergency was and I stopped. I couldn’t think about why I was saving his life. I should let him lay here and bleed out for all the horrible things he did to Gabby, yet I wasn’t just about to let him die. “I-“ is all I could say when talking to the operator. Luckily, Niall pulled up and got out.
“Dude you did it!” He yelled and jumped around.
I hung up the phone as quickly as I could, “No you dumbass, I didn’t!”
“Then what happened?” Niall stood and stared at me.
“Dude help! Apply pressure and that shit to stop this bleeding!”
Niall did as I said. Quinton was getting whiter and he wasn’t making as much noise, which I was guessing was a bad thing.
I redialed 911.
“911, what’s your emergency?”
“Someone has been shot! I really need help I think he’s gonna die. There is no way he is going to live, please send help!”
“Sir, it will be alright, where are you?”
“South Elm! Please hurry!”
“We are sending ambulances now. They will be there shortly, please stay on the line.”
“I-“
“Harry!” Niall called out and pointed down the road. I just saw Gabby’s car barreling down the road. This was the last thing I needed.
“I have to go.” I said to the lady on the other line.
I ran fast towards Gabby’s car and flagged her down to stop.
She rolled down her window, “What the hell happened?!”
“Gabby, I need you to go back home, please!”
“Tell me who that is and what happened!”
I would have gotten into her car and made her drive away, but I was covered in blood. I had no choice but to tell her.
“It’s Niall. Someone shot him. Please go, the police are going to be here and I don’t want you caught up in this.”
She shook her head, “Who shot him?”
“I will call you once we get him to the hospital, I just really need you to leave right now.”
She nodded her head, “Call me, please.”
I nodded at her, “Go.”
She turned around and went home as quickly as she could. I ran back to see how Niall was doing with Q.
“She is fine just leaving him here to die?” Niall questioned.
“Who’s…she…?” Q could barely whisper.
“She doesn’t know it’s him, I lied and said it was you.”
“Gabby.” Those were the last words Quinton said to us. The ambulances arrived and did as much as they could before loading him in.
“Are either of you coming with us?”
“I will.” I immediately volunteered.
Niall gave me a look, a look that said I shouldn’t be doing this. But, if I didn’t then who would? Niall got in his car and the paramedic told him to follow us. Niall did as he said.
“Is he going to live?” I asked the paramedic.
The paramedic was doing something, I honestly have no idea what, “It’s too early to tell.”
“What the hell does that mean?”
“He could live, but he has lost a large amount of blood, the doctors will know if he will live or die once we arrive at the hospital.”
“Okay-“ I wanted to know what the paramedic thought and not wait for the doctors. But, Quinton’s phone started to ring.
“I need to get that.” I told the paramedic.
He reached into his pocket and handed my Quinton’s phone. I saw Gabby’s name pop on the caller ID.
