“Well It’s a…” she was hesitating,
“Just please tell me” I said with a sigh, I was ready for the worst…
“It’s a maybe” she said.
“A maybe?” I asked really confused.
“Well, it turns out that your tests are fairly different from

I nodded so she could continue, “so we might think that with the physical therapy that you started doing yesterday that your muscle might heal, but not perfectly you could dance, but not professionally” she said,
“So that’s a no…” I say with disappointment.
“Well there’s still hope” the nurse said
“I’d like to be alone” I said to the nurse. “Hope” I said as she left “that word follows me around” I said. “I was the hope in my mum and dads marriage, and look what that went too, I hoped I’d become a dancer and be on shows and stuff, look how that turned out, I’m sick of hope, hope has shown me nothing! I might as well give up!” I shouted in pain, all my dreams were shattered.
“Hope, calm down, babe there’s a way out of this without giving up” he said calmly.
“What if I just want to give up?” I said.
“You’re talking nonsense” Harry said.
“No, I’m not, if I’m leaving College why bother continue?” I said
“Those words will come back and haunt you,” he said.
“Maybe” I said.
“Just take the therapy, and then you’ll figure out your options, and you’ll figure out our life” he said caressing my cheek.
“You’re right” I sighed.
“I always am” he smiled real big which made his cute dimples show. He was so adorable and I was so lucky to have him. I was about to say something else when his phone rang.
He left the room to talk in private, I really didn’t mind that. I took that spare time to take a look at my phone.

We cant get the rutine done for the competition without you and the comp is tomorrow, guess I should tell you we aren’t in it :( anyways, GET better soon, we miss you here at school! Xx
The competition, I totally forgot. All these messages were sent yesterday, which mean the competition today, so probably the call Harry is getting is about the competition.
“Sorry it was about the-“
“Dance Comp” I finish his sentence.
“Yeah,” he sighed.
“It’s the 2nd of February” I said “you leave on tour in 20 days” I said weakly.
“Yeah, I know” he said “and there’s been a problem with that” he said.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“We lost our opening act, they had to drop out” he said.
“And now you have to find an act in 20 days?” I asked.
“Yeah, we do..” he smiled weakly.
“Poor you guys” I pouted. “Hey, do you think I can get out like, now?” I asked.
“Why do you wanna get out?” Harry asked.
“To go convince my Dance Crew they can win it” I smiled.
“I thought they weren’t in,” he said.
“You can make an exception…can’t you?” I puppy faced him.
“I’ll see what I can do” Harry winked.
“Great, get me out of this Hospital room” I pleaded.
After a whole lot of persuasion I got my mum to agree to let me go home, the doctor agreed but I’d have to agree for the physical therapy only for a week starter and then I would decide if I wanted to continue or not… fair enough.
“Just take it easy, okay? No heels, no support!” My mum was already all over me and I’ve been home for ten minutes. The whole persuading took at least 2 hours and I called my Dance Crew, and I knew that with a little pep talk they would do it, they have an amazing routine! It was about lunch time now.
“Mum, I know, don’t worry!” I reassured her.
“The boys and girls should be arriving” Harry said,
“What?” I questioned him.
“Well, everyone was super worried, so we have a lunch ready for you and your friends” He answered.
“Aw! You didn’t have too!” I said.
“It was more, your parents Gemma and my Mum, as weird as that sounds” Harry said.
“It sounds adorable” I smiled.
In a few moments I had in my house; Lily, Gemma, Anne, Rider, some more college friends, Liam, Zayn, Niall, Louis, Danielle, Perrie and Eleanor.
“Thanks guys, for everything, for this, for being here” I said.
They all hugged me and said ‘that’s what friends are for’
We ended up all outside, with a little more layers of clothes, since we were in England and it was February.
I was talking to my girls, Lily, Gemma, Danielle, Eleanor and Perrie.
“I cant get over how cute you and my brother are, you do know my mom has a picture of you two in her living room” Gem said.
I blush a little “That’s awkward!” I laugh.
“It’s cute!” Gemma protested.
“Sure thing Gem!” I laugh.
“Well if its for any consolation I think you guys are the cutest celb couples eva!” Lily said.
I just laugh. They were all making me laugh, making me feel like nothing was wrong. It was about 3pm now.
“Hey, Lils, we gotta go if we’re going to perform” Rider approached and said.
“That is true, Hopie you’re watching us right?” Lily asked.
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world” I smiled, a weak smile, but I still smiled. “I’ll be going later, with the boys though” I said.
“Okay, well then Rider, Billy, me and some other people should be going” Lily said.
“Warm up really well, and give the usual Lils pep talk okay?” I smiled, “I’d go, but I’m not ready” I whispered at her.
“I understand, everyone understands, don’t worry” Lily said.
I smiled and let them go.
“Its painful, isn’t it?” Danielle said.
“you cant imagine” I said.
“I cant, actually, Danielle Peazer without dance isn’t the same person” Dani said.
“Same here” I sighed.
“You have music,” Gemma said.
“What?” Eleanor and Perrie said at the same time.
“Oh, yes, this girl here back in ‘O9 wrote some songs with Harry and she has a great voice!” Gemma said.
“Really?” Perrie said.
“Well let’s hear it!” Eleanor said.
“C’mon!” Danielle joined.
I gave in and shyly sang the chorus to Read All About It Part III by Emeli Sandé. It was just a current song I loved, and I deeply loved the artist.
I felt all eyes on me.
“WOW” I heard all of them say.
“Guys, im not that good” I laughed.
Though all I got was ‘bitch please’ looks. I awkwardly smiled.
“You’re amazing!” Perrie said.
“More than amazing!” Harry said sitting next to me.
We all were talking about my hidden talent while I was focusing on Niall and Louis, observing me and talking to themselves,
“We still need an opening act” Niall said.
“She isn’t even signed..” Louis said.
“Simon can sign her in no time” Niall said
“I don’t know, it’s too risky” Louis said,
“It’s our only chance” Niall said.
“We’ll talk to the rest of them later,” Louis said.
“I think its what she needs right now, an escape, and I think this is perfect” Niall said.
“Maybe” Louis said,
Maybe.. that word is following me the last few days.
I wasn’t sure what Niall and Louis were talking about, or who they were talking about. All I knew was that I had to get dressed for the dance competition because we had to see it!
“Harry, let’s get ready” I said.
“We should babe” He said pecking me softly. “If you don’t wanna go” Harry said.
“I don’t wanna, but I feel like I have to” I said
“You don’t need to go Hope” he said.
“But you do..” I said.
“I do, you stay home, stay with your family and rest, you need it, okay?” Harry said.
“M-kay” I sighed and gave in.
“The comp will be on tv on ITV2 you can just watch it there” Harry said.
“I’ll be sure to watch it” I said,
“I should head to the studio, and get the make up and stuff done” Harry said.
“Don’t need makeup to cover up” I teased.
“Aw I love you, but show business what can you do?” he winked and joked. He kissed my forehead and left with the rest of the band. I was left with the girls and my family.
We ended up going to my room and watching the show together, and guess what? It was up for two teams, The EPA University (my uni) and Whales Arts University. It was up for the last vote to come through. This was it, or they were dancing to a huge crowd, or they weren’t. and truth is.

They made it. They won, they were going with one direction on tour. I was so proud of my team. They made it.
