Chapter Twenty-Four ღ
“Wake up sweet heart” a familiar voice said.
“Mornin curly” I say. Getting up from bed.
“I’m driving to my mom’s for lunch, care to join?” he asks.
“yay, count me 100% in” I say with a huge smile.
Harry heads down to his car hand in hand with me by his side. I go into the passenger’s seat and he takes the wheel.
“Harry” I say.
“What my love?” He said touching my hand that was on top of my knee.
“You won’t come back to my apartment tonight will you?” I say with a frown on my face.
“Hope..” he said “it is the 23rd today and you know how my mom is with Christmas, if it were for me I’d spend it with you” he said with one eye of the road and the other on me.
“I know..” I say with a sigh, “I don’t want to be with my family though” I sigh again.
“Don’t say that” he said looking at me,
“Harry, they don’t really care” I say honestly. “me and my mom…well let’s not get started and I don’t like my stepfather and they both love Diamond..” I say “It would be all about her and I would stay hopelessly a loner” I laugh at the end.
“Whatever floats your boat” he said, he knew arguing with me wouldn’t work.
“Harry..are you mad?” I ask.
“Not at all, but you could try! At least” he frowned.
I just sighed and then looked at my phone. I looked at the date 23-12-12. I thought for a while and then came to a conclusion.
“SHIT!” I scream and made him kind of jump. “HAZ! TOMORROW!” I shout. He looks at me puzzled. “DUDE IT’S YOUR BEST FRIENDS BIRTHDAY!”
“I totally forgot!” he said. I just laughed and then told him some directions and he just drove.
“Now, walk over to that corridor and you’ll find what you are looking for” a girl from the shop said. She was trying to by all posh cause of Harry, I’ve been to this shop before and she’d never acted this posh.
“See told you it was a great idea!” I held up the shoes and showed it to him:
Harry laughs at my reaction to the Vans I had just found.
“C’mon” I say getting Louis’s shoe number and buying it. I end up buying some of my own, a light pink and a light blue ones. We head back to Harry’s house for a nice lunch.
“GEM!” I give her a massive hug. It was really awkward because I had the feeling Robin didn’t like me… his cousin Matty and his family were here, oh great! I walk into Gemma’s room and we talk for a while.
“So baba how have you been?” she asked me with a smile.
“Well… not jolly” I say as we were in Christmas time.
“Why not cupcake??” she said, I loved the little nicknames she gave me.
“Because, I really wanted to spend Christmas with Harry, but you know my parents are coming over and we’re going to aunt Cece’s place” I say with a sad tone.
“Oh, baba, see the bright side you’re gunna be with your family!” she said,
“Gem..” I sigh “me and my family, were not that close” I say with a frown.
“Maybe you can ditch?” she said with a questioning tone.
“I wish… then they will make me move back and crap,” it was true I tried once.. didn’t work.
“Sorry” she said with a huge frown “changing subjects” she said with a grin “hows my brother?” she said with a cheeky grin.
“Actually..” I sigh “Gem” I pause “im worried” I say..
“Whats on your mind?” she asked worriedly.
“I get so scared” I say, she looks at me puzzled. “There are a million girls prettier than me, and Harry gets them every day and they flirt with him every day and…I read things online and.. I know they are rumors but it just makes me feel so…down?” I manage to say.
“Hope,..” she sighed “all he thinks about is you, really” she said sitting beside me on her bed. “look, remember when you were in the hospital?” she asked as I nodded “I never thought he could cry that much, to be honest, he did though” she said “you think that when he’s gone he wishes he was with you?” Gem said, well she had a point “and he loves you with all your heart, and I really shouldn’t be telling you this but—” wait WHAT?? WHAT WAS SHE TRYING TO TELL ME?!
“Lunch is ready” harry said with his adorable smile showing his dimples. I smile back and go towards him, Gemma in front of me.
I get to him and hug him tight, he hugs me back “What was that for” he asked.
“No reason” I smile. He smiles back and we intertwine our hands. We spent the whole lunch eyeing each other, Harry was sitting in front of me.
“And Hope here is a phenomenal dancer!” Anne said to everyone in the room, I immediately turn a light shade of red.
“No need to exaggerate Anne” I say with a laugh.
“No exaggeration intended” she said with a smile.
“She’s such a good dancer” Harry said. “It’s unbelievable” he said locking his eyes at me.
“Thank you, I guess? I’m not very good with complements” I say with a laugh, I tend to laugh to make things less awkward, I wonder if it works? They all started talking about how I dance and stuff and I just zoned off, in no time we were all in the couches talking, I walk up and get a glass of water. When I came back there was no space, immediately Harry saw the opportunity for me to sit on his lap, so I do and I rest my head on his chest.
“Where are you passing your Christmas at sweetie?” Anne asked me with a smile.
“Well, my parents are flying in their plane lands at 10pm today and we are all spending it at Aunt Cecilia’s” I saw with a small smile.
“Lovely” she replied back. They continues talking and I just zoned off, Harry was now stroking my hair and I was slowly falling asleep. I did fall asleep with Harry stroking my hair. Sometimes I wish that harry wouldn’t be so famous, we wouldn’t have half of the problems we do… you know?
I wake up slowly but notice two voices, I stay with my eyes close and manage to hear,
“You got a good one coz” a voice said, wait what?
“She’s better than good Matty, she’s all I’ve ever wanted.. I hate being away from her” Harry said, were they talking about me.
“Shes good for you, I notice” Matty says.
“You know, before, I used to look up what people said of me, sometimes I still do, but with her, its all much easier, I don’t know why, I just…” Harry said. What? I thought he stopped that… I decide to open my eyes and look him in the eyes.
“Mornin sleeping beauty” he said with a smile.
“How long did I sleep?” I ask.
“Its 4pm” he said with a soft voice. I saw Matty leaving and going to the kitchen.
“Sorry” I say.
“For what babe?” he asked puzzled.
“The last day I spend with you and I sleep..” I spill.
“For your information you are very cute when you sleep” he said with a cheeky smile.
“You watch me when I sleep?” I laugh.
“Yeah I do” he giggled.
“Creep” I say jokingly and hit him playfully. “So do I” I admit.
“How do I look when I sleep?” he asked with a huge grin.
“Fine” I say to annoy him.
“Oh just fine” he said with a frown.
“not just fine perfect” I say with a laugh, his frown turned immediately into a huge smile.
“I love you” I say “no matter what people say about you” I added at the end, he ignored it and just said.
“I love you to bits” I couldn’t resist my lips were craving his. I kissed him passionately and the butterflies found their familiar place in my stomach.
My phone buzzes and makes me and Harry break the kiss, I read the text.

I show the text to Harry and he nods happily.

He responded quick and I read the text.
“Party planning time” I say to Harry. He smiles and pecks me before we both go to the door.
