I Should've Kissed You
Chapter One ღ
I was finishing my first monthin my first year of Collage. People say collage is fun, it’s just load of work. Nearly time for yourself...
"Hey Hope" my best friend Lily greets me.
"Oh... hey" i say.
"Are you ok?" Lily asks me
"fine." i simply say, I'm not fine...One Direction passed on the radio and it reminded
me of something...IS THAT SO HARD TO SAY? Why can't i just tell her.
"I can still come over tonight right?" Lily asks.
SHIT! I forgot she we planned this. "Yeah..of course!" i say as convincing that i hadn’t forgotten as I can.
"You forgot" Lily says.
"I've been really busy!" I start telling her "and then there's the shop and collage and--"
"No need for excuses Hope!" she says interrupting me "it’s alright! I'll come over anyways" she says winking at me. This is why i loved her; she never got mad at me, only when it was serious. I can tell her tonight, what happened in the summer of 2009.
"Can we go-" Lily starts asking me but was inturupted by our professor.
"Alright performers lets make a run-through last classes routine, I wanna see you dance and sing like its your last day on earth!" My professor tells us. I’m in an arts school I can act and people tell me i can dance, but what I really can do is sing my heart out. This is Musical Theater, we basically make our own musicals and then perform with other arts schools, this year I’m a freshman and I helped with the songwriting.
"Thank god that pain is over!" Lily tells me.
"Hahaha, tell me about it. But i love it!" I tell her, she looked puzzled at me
"Not the pain, or the sweat the dancing and acting" I explain to her.
"I like the dancing better" She smirks at me.
"Of course you do, you're the best the school had in YEARS!" I tell her.
"THATS RIGHT!" Lily says
"Cocky..." i mumble "I'm gunna take a shower then we'll head home" i say going into the shower.
"Can we pass by the market first? I need some fresh fruit" Lily asks.
"Sure let me just take a shower in peace woman!"
I start to hear someone humming the tune of Gotta Be You. Harry... Why did I ever meet him? I knew it would be this hard to get over him. I mean I'm over him, but he's an international superstar, its not likes he's ever gunna remember summer '09... I just needed to forget him... It would be easier for me! Make my life much better. I never told anyone...I'm planning to tell Lily tonight, she probably will think its a joke cause we always make these silly stories cause we are both directioners, only if she knew mine was true...
I take the towel off my hair and dry it with a hair dryer, my chestnut brown hair was now all dry and straight. "Lily! C'mon I'm ready!"
"LETS GO!" Lily says, she was very eager to go to the market... and she never ate fruit.. she was up to something.
We both get into the car and I go to the driver’s seat, Lily didn’t leave her phone she was lost in twitter probably reading about the boys.
"Change of plans can we go to Milkshake City?" Lily asked me.
"Why...you hate milkshakes..." i ask, she looked very suspicious.
"PLEASE! I only tried one flavor maybe I will like other one like a strawberry milkshake!" she pleaded me.
"Fineee.." I say turning the direction of Milkshake City.
We finally arrive there was a huge crowd of girls though. "Lily.. What is this?" I ask her. No response, i just see her making her way through the people. "LILY?!" I shout.
A few people start leaving Milkshake City and all the girls start screaming. What was happening? I try to look around, the girls made space as a familiar green eyes met mine, he looked at me in the eyes "Harry" i whisper to myself. I stand there paralyzed he kept gazing into my eyes, all i see is him telling one of his security guards to go with him towards my direction. Did he recognize me? Did Harry just recognize me even though about 50 girls looked him in the eyes too? He started to come closer to my direction. I couldn’t face him, as an instinct I run and hide in the middle of the crowd. Throughout the crowd i see him looking everywhere but giving up and going into the black van. That was close. But why did i run? I really just felt like going up to him and hug him..
I finally find Lily and we go to the car. “So you wanted a Mikkshake?” I asked her, kind of angry.
“YOU JUST SAW YOUR IDOLS!” Lily screamed at me.
“I know! You could’ve just told me!” I tell her trying not to give it away.
“Niall winked at me!!!” Lily said so excited.
“He probably winks at every fan Lil..” I say laughing. Lily smacks me with her arm
“ouch!” I say´
“You earned it” Lily said crossing her arms.
“Chill, I was just joking!” I tell her.I was just starting to forget I just saw Harry when More Than This passes on the radio. GREAT! Just what I needed! Why did I hide? WHY?! I mean.. maybe he changed, maybe fame changed him… ‘Hope’ lily calls me but I don’t hear her ‘HOPE!’ she repeats again.
“HOPE!!!” She screams at me and I snap out of it.´
“WHAT!” I scream back at her.
“I thought we were going to the shop?” Lily asks me.
“Tomorrow, there is something I need to show you” I tell her as we arrived home.
I walk inside Lily goes to the kitchen, all she did all day was eat, but then she was as thin as a model…I go up with my room and take a box I haven’t touched since two years ago.
I read the first note I saw, it read:
You know something I never told you, or anyone, I fell for you harry styles, big time, summer ’09 forever, saying goodbye was harder than you think! I fell for you…big time…. I loved you Harry E. Styles ♥☼
I felt butterflies go through my whole body ‘I loved you’ I read again, do I still do? Can i still be having feelings for Harry Styles? Not in a fangirling way ... feelings like i had before back in summer ’09.
“HOOOPEEEEE!” I hear Lily call. “ONE DIRECTION LET THEIR ALBUM OUT TODAY! ITS ALL OVER YOUTUBE HOW DID WE FORGET?!” she screams at me.
Great, now I’m gunna have Lily talking about Harry Styles all night.
