Mel POV
i sat across from across from my crazy beautiful carefree sister, thinking "what had she done now?" There was no argument there because i did own Lilli because it was my fault that she missed out on Christmas and Gran Jameson famous stuffed turkey. So to make up for that i had to break a guy heart because Lilli was leaving him and she wants me to deliver the breaking new to well this mysterious guy.
“And Mel, you should know this,” said Lilli.
“Like what really.” I said before walking toward my room looking for a nice put-together outfit. “Thanks Lilli,” as I mumble to myself. My mind was drifted away from the Lilli’s conversation and i played with words to ease the bad news that i was about to deliver to someone that i barely know.
As Mel pull up in front of the address that Lilli have given her. Mel looked up in a combination of awe because the house was beautiful. She climbed out of the driver’s seat and smoothed down her dress and pulled her purple cardigan around her middle. She was intimidated, she realised. She was a lawyer for crying out loud. She wasn’t blonde and gorgeous like her sister but she was pretty good. She used to deal with bad guys in court all the time “so how hard can this be huh!”Taking a deep breath she opened the gate strolled up the front walk and rang the doorbell. She heard the bell vibrating through the house and fought the urge to run for the hill. Instead she forced herself to stay in place.She heard footsteps approaching the door, but the moment the door opened, Mel knew that she was face to face with her sister’s supposed to be “fiancé” Harry Styles. A very green emerald eyes and curly hair, very imposing and oh dear a very sexy smile accompanying with dimples on both cheeks and a very sexy Harry Styles.
The man stood in the door way looking down at her “yes” he asked. Mel took a deep breath. “Mr Styles? My name is Melrose Jameson.” For whatever reason, her last name didn’t register with the man, since he repeated himself. “Yes?”
“I’m Lillian’s sister. She asked me to come see you,” as i fought the urge to roll my eyes. His very green emerald eyes narrowed as he finally connected my name with his fiancé. He stepped back. “Then you’d better come in.” She walked into the house and waited for harry to lead the way. “You have a lovely home,” she lied as she shivered looking around the almost empty living room. Harry seemed to brushed aside the compliments about his home. “Thank you. I didn’t know Lillian had a sister. You don’t look much alike,” he said. Mel was used to it. “No kidding there huh!” Harry looked back at her as he led her down the hallway and into his study. “I don’t suppose this is good news you’re bringing me,” he said dryly.
“I guess it depends on your perspective,” Mel answered. “But perhaps not.”Harry pointed toward a couch, and then sat down in a chair opposite from her, leaning back. “Where is she?” he asked almost too casual. Mel sighed “I honestly don’t know i would suspect on a plane flying outside the country or somewhere, but she deliberately didn’t tell me.”
“So she’s not coming back,” harry clarified. Shaking her head and straightened her dress over her leg. Mel said quietly. “i don’t think so. You never know with Lilli, she could change her mind at any moment. But i don’t think so.”
“Why” Mel knew what he was asking and had been thinking of the best way to tell him Lilli’s leaving was going to break his heart but she knew that men could become attached to Lilli rather quickly. Harry raised his eyebrows indicting that he was still waiting for an answer or explanation to Lilli leaving. “I don’t think she meant for this to happen, but she....” Mel sighed.
“She met someone else,” harry hazarded a guess. Mel looked up into harry’s emerald eyes but wow were those eyes incredibly sexy. She just simply replies “Yes.”
“Damnit,” harry clipped out. Closing his eyes for a while, he opened them and stared up at the ceiling. Mel was unprepared for the harshness of his voice. She had expected angry but not this level of frustration. “You care?” she asked in surprise because Lilli told her that harry wouldn’t care because he doesn’t feel love for anyone but himself.
“Of Course i care,” he snapped.
“But i thought.......
“That we had a relationship based on a business agreement? Yes. That’s true. And you’re right of course i wouldn’t mourn the loss of Lilli as a person- but i needed her.” He looked at Mel “how much did she tell you?” he asked.
“Most of it, I think,” Mel said quietly but then she thought for a while and retracted that. “Actually, not really very much just told me that you too had agreed to marry for some reason which i don’t understand and that she wasn’t going to fulfil her end of the deal and that she really was very sorry, Mr Styles,” she said hoping to wrap up the conversation and head home.

Harry POV
I rested my elbow on the arms of the chair and was quiet for several long moments looking at Melrose as she fought the urge to look at him. Her dark brown eyes were filled with sympathy.It took me a while to work through my thoughts. “I would put this whole deception in motion for a reason, Ms Jameson. And your sister signed a legally binding contract.”

I hope everyone that read this book like and enjoyed it because i did had fun writting it. The story line is based on my favourite story book.
