Nobody Breaks My Heart
Jess stumbles back in shock, her mouth forming an o shape.
“Woah what the fuck just happened.” I squeal.
“Did you just-“ Jess begins only to be cut off by Mitch kissing her again.
“Shh.” He murmurs, leaning his forehead against hers.
I burst out laughing for no reason at all, which sparks laughter from Harry and Mitch, Jess still has the same look of confusion plastered on her face.
“I’m just going to go.” Jessica says, running through the garage door and outside, Mitch follows after her leaving Harry and I alone in the garage.
I plop down into the seat next to him.
“Well, that was something else.” He mutters.
“Welcome to my life.” I say playfully punching his arm and laughing.
“Hey, I don't have your number yet!” Harry says grinning widely.
“You don’t need it.” I say, shrugging.
“Yes I do.”
“Harry, we’re next door neighbors, if you really need to talk to me you can walk next door and talk to me face to face.”
“Well what if it’s an emergency?” Harry says, sticking out his bottom lip.
I sigh and hold out my hand so he could pass me the phone. He grins triumphantly as he hands me the shiny white iPhone 5.
“Passwords 2009.” He says, still grinning.
I unlock his phone and type in my contact information in the contact category. When I’m done, I hand him back his phone and he slips it into the pocket of his jacket.
“So about that date?” Harry says, wiggling his eyebrows.
“The answer is still no Harry.” I say rolling my eyes.
“Oh come on, I see the way you look at me.” Harry says. Hmm. Cocky little fucker.
“I look at a lot of people Harry, doesn’t mean I want to go on dates with them.” I reply sarcastically before looking down at my nails and picking off the nail polish.
“Come on Ria, just give me a chance.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
I pause and look at him before I speak again.
“Because, I’ll break your heart.” I say slowly.
“And what if I break yours?” Harry asks and I laugh.
“Nobody breaks my heart.”
