I'm laughing with Louis in AP History when she walks in. It's the slow motion movement when the wind blows in her hair, when the lights flicker; illuminating her blue eyes. But she'd ever fall for someone like me.

Maria Hill, our History teacher, glares at me and says, "This is Violet Walker. I hope that you'll all make her feel welcome..."

I mean, she knows that we won't. No one likes the new kids. Especially the ones with the bright pink hair, glowing blue eyes and slightly strange clothing style.

Violet sits herself in the front of the class, and smiles at Miki Foxx. She's the schools head skank and loves dating anyone that she can get her hands on. 23% of the time, that's me. I don't really care, she's fucken hot.

But Violet's got something different about her. She looks like she's from a different world. Like she's from Vulcan or Narnia. But her eyes. They look sad don't they. So when I realized that his girl was going to change the game, I knew that she would have to be the new piece of the chess board.
