Chapter 6
Louis' POV:
"how do you think it is going between them?" El asked me as we cuddled on the couch
you see, she came up with this plan a little while ago to play match maker for Harry. and i guess you could say when she met Madi, she knew instantly that they would be great together. i still am a bit skeptical about the whole set up. but we are keeping it all just between us. i could tell though that Harry did seem to take a liking to her. so maybe it wasn't a bad thing for us to set them up like this?
"i don't know love. but it seems like harry does fancy her. but who knows what she is feeling." i kissed her head.
i just want Harry to be happy. i know he wants to be with someone and settle down. we're just trying to help him out by finding a good girl. and not one of those girls we usually see him with.
just them the front door opened and in came harry.
"hey guys." he said
"hello harry! did you have fun last night?" El asked with a sly smile.
"yeah. it was fun."
"and how did you sleep last night?" El asked with a huge smirk
I just chuckled a bit. she was so devious sometimes.
"uh yeah. why a sudden interest in how i slept El?" he asked with a suspicion written all over his voice.
"oh no reason. just a bit curious. Well i gotta go to work. i'll see you later." i walked with her to the door and gave her a kiss goodbye.
"bye el!" harry shouted from the kitchen
"bye love. i'll call you later." and with one more kiss she was out the door and on her way to work.
as i walked back to the living room i could see harry sitting on the couch with a bag of chips and playing fifa. i walked over and sat next to him. let the interrogating begin!
"so did you really have a good time last night?" i asked a little bit serious
"yeah of course i did. i always have fun when i am out with my best mated!" he said never taking his eyes off the screen
"but where did you go? i mean you were gone for a little while. and so was Madi. did you see her where ever it is that you went to...?" i knew that he would tell me. i am his best mate!
"uh... i went to the bar. and then i was dancing on the dance floor for a little.and then i went to the bar to get another drink. i saw Madi there. we had a drink and then we went back to the dance floor, danced a bit and then we came back to you guys." he said it all as if it was no big deal.
"ooohhhHH! so is she a good dancer?" i asked as i winked at him
"uh yeah. she is" he said a whisper while blushing a bit.
"YOU FANCY HER DON'T YOU?!" i asked shouting at him and taking his controller to pause the game.
"so what if i do or don't?! it's not like she fancies me!" he shouted back at me
'Harry, you are my best mate. i can tell that you do." i said in a serious tone
Harry's POV:
Louis was really frustrating me with all the questions. Madi seemed to have made it clear with her actions that she did not fancy me. i really do fancy her and want her to be mine. but i do not want to waste my time on someone i can never be with
"honestly mate, i don't think i even have a chance with her. this morning her actions seemed clear to me that she doesn't want anything to do with me." i said frustrated while running my fingers through my hair
"harry, i know you fancy her. a lot. it is obvious. the way you acted last night AND this morning proved it. and as for Madi, the way that she acted last night did make it seem that she fancied you. and if she does, she was probably a little freaked out this morning cause maybe she doesn't know how to act around you since she just met you."
Louis may be a jokster but he really can be deep. I always come to him for advice. and he has always been right. maybe he is right. she did freak out then she woke up with me this morning. i guess if i was in her position i would be too. we barely know each other.
"alright mate. then what do i do?"
"that's easy harry! you just need to hang out with her! you know, spend some time together so you two will get to know each other. then from there you'll know what to do." louis said with a smile.
"thanks mate. you're the best." i said with a smile
"here mate. i have her number. put it in your phone so when you man up and ask her to hang out with you, you can." he said while handing me his phone
"like i said Louis. you are the best" this smile was not leaving my face.
"anytime. now we have to go in 10 minutes. we have an interview to go to!"
Madi's POV:
the rest of my day consisted of endless texts from El asking what happened last night, a few gallons of ice cream, and disney movies. of course told her what happened. i just didn't tell her what happened between me and harry. i really don't know what to think of him. he is a bit different. in a good way.
i still don't understand why i asked him to stay with me. i mean i don't like him. he is known for being a lady's man and moving on from one girl to the next fast. and i don't wanna be another one of those girls. that, and my brothers wouldn't allow that to happen.
oh how i miss my brother. yes, they are overprotective when not needed. but i still love them. and i miss you niece and nephew. i got to skype them all today. i brought joy to my day. when they asked what i have been doing since i moved here i told them the truth. just leaving guys out of it or them would fly here in a heart beat. and that is honestly the last thing i need.
~2 days later~
today is monday. i hate mondays. they just seem to take forever. and is it far away from my next day off. nothing exciting ever seems to happen on mondays. they just seem to be one of those days.
as i am changing my my room for the new lingerie photo shoot my phone went off.
*1 new text from unknown*
hmm. thats weird i thought.
*hello love. i was wondering if you free tonight and if you would like to have dinner with me? - Harry*
dinner with harry? why did that sound so nice?
*sure that sounds great. i am off at 4 so dinner at 6? - Madi*
i smiled as i sent the message and got an instant reply.
*perfect. then be at Bocca di Lupo at 6 - Harry*
i smiled as i read the text. and for some reason, i felt my heart flutter and my stomach flip. am i nervous? do i like harry? well. i guess i will find out tonight at 6....
