I rang Liam in the morning, I needed to talk to him sort out what's happening with us.

"Hello" he croaked.

"Hey" I said calmly.

"I'm sorry about last night" he sighed.

"Don't Liam, I need to see you".

"Okay meet me at mine?"

"Okay I'm coming right over see you in a bit".

"Bye" he said before hanging up.

"What are you going to say to him?" Zayn asked sitting down next to me.

"I have no idea" I frowned.

"Do you want to be with him?" he asked.

"Yes" I smiled.

"But Harry" he looked at me.

I nodded "I just don't know".

"I'm going to give you some cheesy advice so don't laugh" he laughed. "Follow your heart, don't think about what is wrong or right for you. Think about what makes you happy, who you would rather be with. They both love you, but do you love them?"

"Wow Zayn, just wow" I laughed.

"I know I give good advice" he shrugged.

"Thanks" I kissed his cheek before going up to Harry's room.

"Hey can I borrow a shirt and maybe some pants".

"Yeah sure" he chucked me a striped shirt and a pair of his boxers.

"Cheers" I went into his bathroom and got changed.

"Where you going?" he asked.

"Liam's".

He frowned "I see".

"Don't be like that, I need to talk to him".

"Okay" he nodded. "Want Jack to give you a lift?"

"I feel bad I swear he drives me around more than you" I laughed.

"He doesn't care, to be honest I think he prefers giving you lifts" he shrugged.

"Enough with the jealousy Harry" I moaned.

"Okay fine" he ran down the stairs going out the door.

I went and said good bye to Louis and Niall, they both hugged me.

"Thank you guys for an amazing birthday" I smiled at them.

"It was our pleasure, I enjoyed it too" Louis smiled.

"See you later" I waved at them before meeting Harry outside.

"What are you doing tonight?" Harry asked.

"I'm going home".

He frowned "Promise me you will ring me if anything happens?"

"I promise" I smiled at him before getting into the car.

"Bye" he waved.

"Where to Kate?" Jack asked.

"For a second there I thought you were going to call me ma'am" I laughed

He laughed "Why you're not 50?"

"I know" I smiled. "And to Liam's please".

"Righto" he nodded before starting up the car.

My stomach dropped when I realized we were close to his. I still hadn't worked out what I was going to say to him.

"Shall I pick you up afterwards?"

"Is it okay? I feel like I'm taking advantage of you" I blushed.

He laughed "It's fine I like driving you places" he smiled.

"Okay then".

"Do you want my number? So you could ring me".

I smiled thinking about what Harry would say when he finds out I have Jack's number.

"I'll call you after" I said before getting out the car.

I took a deep breath before knocking on Liam's door. He opened it and smiled, he gestured me to come in.

"You're shaking are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm so nervous" I said honestly.

"Oh, yeah me too" he frowned.

I held his hand as I pulled him to the sofa.

"I don't even know what I'm going to say so I'll just go along with the flow" I tried to laugh.
"Do you love him?"

"I don't know" I looked down.

"Do you love me?"

"I don't know" I frowned.

"With love you never not know, you're either lying to me to protect my feelings or you're in love with Harry and can't admit it to yourself" he shrugged.

I looked up at him "So what if I am? I want to be with you".

"I think you want to be with me because it's the easier option. You don't want complicated you want safe and that's me".

"But..."

"No but's, what I'm saying is the truth and I think you know that, Kate I can't do this anymore. Harry has been my best friend for a long time and you..." he looked at me. "You are also my best friend, if two of my best friends are meant to be together I can't get in the way of that".

"Please Liam" I started to cry. "Why do you have to be so fucking mature" I laughed.

He shrugged "It's just the way I am and now we aren't together anymore you can figure out your feelings for Harry".

"You're giving up on me" I cried harder.

"No Kate" he placed his hands on my face making me look at him. "I will never give up on you, I love you, you complicated fucktard".

"Did you just call me a fucktard?" I laughed.

He nodded smiling, I kissed him on the lips for a while he returned the kiss before pulling away.

"You need to think about what you want Kate".

"I understand I'm being selfish" I nodded my head.

"No you're not selfish you're just confused" he rubbed my forehead. "But now I think you should go".

I sighed rubbing my tears, Liam is such a good person I can't be selfish with him anymore it's not fair.

"Good bye" I smiled at him before leaving.

Jack was already outside so I didn't need to call him, I went and got in the car.

"You didn't need to wait by the way" I laughed.

"I kind of figured you wouldn't be long" he tilted his head.

"Oh" I tried to smile.

"Do you need a hug?" he asked me.

I looked at him and nodded my head tears falling from my eyes. He patted the seat beside him, I got out of the car and sat next to him. He pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest, I don't care what Harry thinks about me and Jack he is a very good friend to me. After a while I pulled away wiping my face.

"Thanks" I smiled.

"I'm always here if you need to get away from 1D drama".

"I'll remember that, now can you take me home?"

"Sure" he nodded.

I put on my seatbelt and looked out the window for the entire journey. Once home I waved at him good bye, before going in, I braced myself for Zach. God knows what mood he's going to be in today. I went to unlock the door but of course the bastard has changed the locks. I knocked on the door and waited for him to answer.

"Err you changed the locks?" I said once he answered.

"Well yeah we needed a new door" he said coldly.

"Well give me the keys" I held out my hand.

"Sure I got 2 sets so we could both have one" he smiled wickedly.

"Of course you did" I rolled my eyes.

I moved past him and grabbed the pair of my keys and went up to my room.

"Aren't you going to even try and make conversation with me?" he followed me into my room.

"No I'm not in the mood now get out of my room" I half shouted.

"So I got into a fight with fancy boy but I'm sure he's already told you that" he said sitting down at the end of my bed. "I don't understand why he's trying to protect you from me, I mean I'm not going to hurt you" he smirked.

"Get lost you jackass" I said coldly.

"I want control of this house again" he demanded.

"No way in hell now fuck off" I refused.

He grabbed my arm pulling me to him, if this was his attempt to scare me he really wasn't doing a good job. I laughed at him at how pathetic he was being.

"What's funny?"

"You, are you trying to scare me?" I laughed.

"Oh so you don't think I can scare you?" his eyes glistened.

"Nah, it's quite pathetic really" I smirked.

Anger raged inside of him the more I kept going, to be honest I really should learn when to shut up.

"I will never give you ownership of this house, so if I were you I would get off of me or bye bye" I waved my hand.

"I won't let you do this" he shouted.

"Oh I believe you don't have a choice so-"

He pushed my head smacking it against the wall, I cried out as the pain rushed through me. I looked at him and punched him hard in the face only making him angrier. He grabbed my arms dragging me across the room pushing me against the wall.

"Get off me" I said calmly.

"Who do you think you are? Ever since I've come back you think you know it all" he shook his head.

"That's because you are a waste of space now get off of me" I repeated.

He growled thumping me in the arm, I rubbed my head where the pain was. As I brought my hand away I noticed blood.

"Wow Zach making your sister bleed classy" I rolled my eyes.

He grabbed my shirt pulling me close to him, he looked me directly in the eye.

"I hate you" I said spitefully.

He hit me hard in the face once more causing me to fall to the floor, I grabbed my phone and typed in H-A-R before he took my phone off me and threw it at the wall.

"You're such an asshole" I cried.

"I was only giving you what you deserve bitch".

I lay down on the floor and closed my eyes, I don't know how but I managed to fall asleep
