I threw everything around my room. I couldn't even see anything.
"Be careful!"
"No! Don't tell me to be careful!"
"Look, I just need to be alone ok?"
Harry walked out of the door.
I had no one else to call besides Shawn.
"Yo!"
"Shawn..."
"What?"
"My mom's in the hospital."
"For what?"
"OD.."
"Wow I knew your mom was a crackhead."
I flinched at the word he used like it physically hurt me.
"But why are you calling me? Go talk to Savannah. I'm busy."
"Shawn baby. Are you coming to bed? I wanna have some fun."
What?
"Yea in a minute bitch."
"Bye babe."
Then the line went dead. What?
"Savannah. Let me call Savannah."
"Hello?"
"Hey Savannah."
"What's wrong?"
"It's my mom..."
"I'll be there in a minute."
She's a good friend.
I cleaned up my room then there was a knock at the door.
"Hey Savannah thanks for coming."
I hugged her and let her in.
"It's ok. Let it out." she said as I tried to hold in sobs.
I cried till it hurt that night.
